The Community is absolutely beautiful! The staff really shows a commitment and enthusiasm that you just don't see anywhere else. Top notch for Independent, Assisted and Memory Care.

Great place for your loved one

Bay Lake Retirement Community provides a warm, safe and inclusive environment. Today I talked with a resident who shared my appreciation for the current holiday decorations throughout the venue and comforting sounds of holiday music. The staff are very helpful and patient. [Names removed] are very welcoming, helpful and professional.

I would like to give a big kudos to the staff at Paul Spring. I had Thanksgiving dinner there and it was delicious. The staff was courteous and very helpful. All the residents and families appeared to be really enjoying themselves. I will definitely be eating with my grandmother more often.

They are heads above there competitors in care and quality of food.

I had the pleasure of visiting a few days ago. Absolutely beautiful community with all of the top of the line amenities. The management is second to none and the staff all go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience.

Mom visted The Hidenwood Retirement Community with me and loved it! She joined the Resident's morning coffee social and trivia group, saying "what a wonderful group of people". The food was delicious and everyone was friendly and offered a warm welcome.

I am very pleased with this community. My only experience has been with the memory care unit and they are excellent. I would recommend.

After caring for my Father [Removed] at home for the last year, I found I could no longer provide him with the Professional care he needed. I visited 5 Asstisted Living facilities in the area but kept coming back to Hidenwood. Barb [Removed] was most gracious every time I dragged a friend or family member there for yet another tour. When I signed the final paperwork, I broke down and cried. She took me in her arms and assured me they would take good care of Dad. And so you have. The second day there, he said, "I love it here, I could stay here forever!". He has told me about how well he is treated by ALL the staff and he LOVES the food. On one of the visits before placing him, I noted a virtual stampede of the residents clamoring to get to the dining room! As I wandered into the activity room, several residents said, "We love it here and we mean that." I did not have to ask them for this response, they just told me. I thought, "This is the place for Dad." I cannot tell you how at ease I am knowing he is in your Loving Care. I thank you, all of you for your dedicated and hard work.

The staff of The Hidenwood seem to truly love what they do, and it makes for a happy and healthy environment for the residents. I feel uplifted just visiting, and my mom is very happy with her new community.

This is one of the top notch assisted living and Memory care facilities in the Tidewater area. Not only is the building and grounds beautiful and well maintained it is exceptionally clean. The staff genuinely cares about the residents, families and visitors. There is always something going on in activities from music to variety shows, arts and crafts, outings on the Bay Lake bus. I would highly recommend this facility for my loved ones to anyone.

I am a resident. I have been living at Paul Spring for over one year. the staff is excellent- friendly and efficient. They make a good team. I came here on a 3 month trial by the second day, I knew I wanted to stay here. The building and grounds are well kept, and smell nice. Over all excellent! Kate in nursing, is "Johnny on the spot" as far as taking care of any health issues I may encounter. Darnall in Recreation makes things happen. She listens to suggestions, will help get programs we want. The programming is wide ranging. Almost every resident is a walking travelogue.
