Very nice community. Excellent service, dinner was just amazing, everyone is very friendly. Great experience.

This community does so much meaningful activities for the residents. When I have visited the residents in Inspiritas Memory Care, I’m always happy to see that they have plenty to do and enjoy their time with staff.

Woodland Hills is a beautiful new facility in the heart of Roanoke. The building is breath taking, the staff is very friendly and the food is amazing. If you haven't had a tour, I would reccomend it!

What a breathtaking community! The gorgeous building is sparkly and new. The staff are all very friendly and professional. The culinary team is top notch and provides exceptional meals every meal of every day. Interesting activities are provided throughout the day, so there is always something for folks to do. If you are looking around town for a Senior living option, you should really stop by for a tour. You will not be disappointed.

Woodland Hills is unlike anything else in the Roanoke valley! I have not worked in this industry long but I can tell the effects that the customer service has on all of their residents and their quality of life!

The staff is amazing. Their level of caring and helpfulness is unparalleled. My parents were looking into assisted living with my father looking at hospice. They walked us through the process and answered questions, even when our move wasn't immediate. They are professional without losing compassion.

Very friendly staff that works with the individual and family members to ensure a smooth transition. From the front desk personnel to the Director of Services, everyone provided their support to welcome the new resident and family members.

Everyone here is so nice! I admit that my parents, who are in their 90s, don't (and probably won't) take advantage of the activities, but the services are so helpful and delivered promptly and cheerfully. They have residential living, so they have meals (3/day), laundry, housekeeping, and the maintenance guys come up whenever they need a little help. They also use the in-house medical staff for basic care. The place is lovely, and we're looking forward to warmer weather when they can enjoy the outdoor areas. And no complaints from my parents.

I love the educational classes they provide. So much for seniors to do at Heatherwood.

As soon as I walked in I was very very impressed. The cleanliness of the place was over the top compared to what I’m used to. Both of my parents were in a place like this in Fayetteville (North Carolina) for a year, so I’ve been down that road. I was very very impressed with the options available, like the cafeteria, the theater room, the suites their residents are in are extraordinary compared to what I’m used to. So I would recommend you seriously try to get into this place if you can.

Community is very nice & updated. Apartments have full size appliances, walk in tubs and plenty of closets. [Name removed] was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I hope this will be my mom’s new home!

The staff was extremely friendly and actually took the time and initiative to actively engage us during the tour. Also, it seemed that they had more than enough RNs and CNA's for a facility of it's size (116 units). Moreover, many of the nurses and aids were older and had worked for the company a long time. That is a big plus. Reasonable pricing based on Fairfax County Virginia standards (which can be very expensive). One bedroom starts around $5500.00 and has approx. 560 SF. Has the look and feel of a place built in the 90's (as it was built in the 90's) and therefore lacks the modern look of many of the newer communities but if you like a more intimate, boutique type setting, it may be just your cup of tea. No Memory Care, so aging in place is not possible without having to move to another community.
