The staff is very caring and thoughtful. This is a full service community and they deliver. There are so many different activities available it sometimes becomes difficult to choose where to participate. This is facility is only one year old and in perfect condition. The food is good. In addition to the normal 3 meals a day, they have a 24 hour food and grab area and they also have a room delivery service if you need it. It is located in an upscale area and within easy driving distance to several high end grocery stores and other shopping needs. If you don't drive, they have a very nice 12 person van that is available for trips within a reasonable distance. All in all, very happy here.

I recently visited three other facilities for placement for their parents CHARTIERS BEND isindependent living. I was surprised to find out their parents could age place here. I never knew what that meant until it was explained to me in a proper way. I have finally found a place where their parents can call home till the end of their life and get the care that they need When I entered the place, I was amazed I didn’t even compare to the other places I have been to And then meeting the staff the managers and meeting the team of people that would be able to assist my parents, put it all together So I encourage anyone before you sign anything or buy into anything to please take a look at a hidden secret in the South Hills area

I enjoy all of my neighbors and the staff has been very helpful and supportive of my husband and me. We can enjoy the activities we want and don’t feel pressured to take part in those that don’t interest us.

We were so lucky to find Palomino Gardens shortly after it opened, when we needed to move our dad from NY to Lake Worth. The facility is incredible - clean, excellent food, tons of activities for the residents. Our dad doesn’t need a car while living here which Is a huge help since he can no longer drive - everything is provided and they have shuttles to grocery stores, weekly unit cleaning, etc. I am consistently impressed whenever I visit and our dad always says “I love it here!”, which is the ultimate goal. He has made a ton of friends and loves this community. Friendly and attentive staff. Couldn’t recommend more highly. We consider ourselves so lucky to have found Palomino Gardens.

My husband and I moved to Cahaba Ridge almost 3 years ago and I’ve never regretted our move!! Our community is welcoming and inclusive….the staff here is exceptional…there’s always an activity going if you wish to participate….the dining room/food is wonderful…Chef is always planning some good treat!!! Sadly, my husband had dementia and has passed away….the emotional support for me has been amazing and greatly appreciated! Am grateful that I am here!!!

We were looking for a retirement community that did not require a large buy-in fee. We looked at the available facilities in the area, and were not impressed with any of them. Carolina Pines was in the construction phase and after touring a sister community, we decided to wait for it's completion. This is a community in the best sense of the word. The staff goes out of their way to assist and help in any way they can. There are plenty activities throughout the week, plus a theater with movies every night after dinner. Our reason for moving was the need for ADA compliant access throughout the apartment and included laundry inside the apartment. As an added bonus, there's in house companies that can provide home health care as well as PT and OT if needed. We waited for over a year and have lived here for a year now and have never regretted our decision.

Our experience with Julian Woods has been outstanding. Everything that was offered in the literature and on the tour has delivered. The service by the staff has been exemplary - they are always available to meet any need or question, The food is perhaps too good as we've gained weight and have had to cut back on portions. Especially noteworthy are the efforts of our Lifestyle Director [name removed] who offers a varied and complete programs so that you can enjoy as much of little what is offered and covers a wide scope of interests. We are more than satisfied with our experiences here

I moved in [date removed], after touring many, many other senior housing locations within driving distance of my house in Thomasville, North Carolina. I spent a night at a sister property in Morrisville, North Carolina, which is close to where my brother lives. The experience was so pleasant that I have returned to stay at the Williamsburg property a couple of times, utilizing the travel program which is one of the truly wonderful benefits. There are SO MANY benefits for those of us living here that I cannot possibly list them all. The monthly rent covers electricity, heat, cable, internet, shuttle service to destinations within 15 miles in any direction, etc. We have a large theatre too!

I suddenly had to move to a place where I could live independently and yet get help quickly if I needed it. I was only 61 but I couldn't get up if I fell. With my own apartment, I can stay home if I want as I have a full kitchen, washer/dryer and light housekeeping services, which includes changing my sheets. The facility has warm, caring staff. It offers 3 full meals a day in a dining room. The building is nice and kept clean and inviting. There are lots of activities offered, allowing residents to socialize. In a couple of months, I will have lived here 10 years!

My wife and I moved here at the opening almost eight years ago, after researching 20+ senior living facilities. We found it to be the best overall value for independent living - what we get for what we pay each month. She has passed now and I decided to stay on here. The social mix, mostly interesting and nice residents, activities, room and building design, managers, activities director, and dining staff are all very good to excellent. It is a safe and comfortable senior home with low turnover of staff and 155 residents, which is important to me.

In my opinion, Stone River is one of the few premier retirement communities in Bradenton /Sarasota area. From its unbelievable amenities to its professional and caring staff. It is second to none a great Community in which to spend your retirement years.

My parents moved in a year ago. Their life at their 17 year residence became isolated. The move to this community brought just what they needed. A “community” with a lot to do. Also no more meal planning - they serve great meals three times a day for you. Improved their life a lot. Wish we would have made the move a year earlier.

They have literally thought of everything!! And the staff is amazing. They are patient, kind and so helpful. Attention is paid to the needs of each resident. And family members can be assured their loved one(s) can thrive in a beautiful, safe environment.

I have friends in several similar places around the city. This is by far the best . The staff are amazing. There is a ton of activities. Food is excellent. A top notch hair salon, a full gym and really convenient store are other amenities.

Very caring staff. They go above a beyond to help residents. Activities are constant and the Director [name removed] dose a amazing job and all residents absolutely adore her.Food is very good. All staff are amazing.

ALL STAFF IS EXTRAORDINARILY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. I WOULD REQUEST THAT HEALTHIER FOOD BE PROVIDED, AND THAT CARROT STICKS AND CELERY STICKS BE PROVIDED IN THE CHEF CORNER. i WOULD LIKE TO SEE BENCHES AROUND THE BUILDING TO ENCOURAGE WALKING FOR THOSE WHO NEED A REST.

I have lived at Willow Pines for about six months now. I would highly recommend it to all of my friends that are thinking about moving into a retirement complex. Willow Pines is beautiful and has all the amenities any person could want. Each apartment has a complete kitchen and a washer and dryer. Your rent includes access to food 24 hours a day. You have access to three meals a day with at least two entrees and various side dishes, a great salad bar, many types of beverages and great desserts and a soft serve ice cream machine. If you are hungry during the night, you can go down to the pantry and grab a snack. There are all kinds of activities you can get involved in…exercise classes, field trips like going to the DIA, happy hours, WiFi bowling, health lectures, … Home Care and physical therapy are available if needed. The staff at Willow Pines is caring and considerate. They genuinely care about all of the residents. Willow Pines is a great place to live, I love it and you will, too!

This is a great facility to live in. The people are friendly and come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. There are tons of activities to participate in every day with a fantastic activity director, [name removed]. Our room is comfortable and feels like home to us, even though it is less space than our home before we moved here. I was worried about feeling claustrophobic but have never had that feeling. The food offered each day is a variety of dishes and flavors, mostly good. Housekeeping once a week is great benefit.

This place is beautiful. The staff is amazing. The employee’s energy, culture, and teamwork are outstanding. My mother-in-law is currently a resident and she is very pleased with the establishment. We, in turn, are very happy. One of our biggest concerns with our parents as they grew older was the fact that a lot of seniors have a tendency to isolate themselves. This facility provides tons of social interaction with other residents, the staff, and a constant stream of visitors and activities. We have the utmost confidence that our loved ones are being taken care of in our absence and they are happy. I would be remiss if I did not mention the convenience of [removed name]. We refer to it as “the cruise ship “. Meals are included so the residence do not have to worry about preparing meals, however, the apartments do have kitchens in case they want to make something special. Snacks, coffee, ice cream, are always on hand.

Can't says enough great things about the facility, food, staff, activities, and nurses. Mom has made many new friends this year, learned to play Rummikub, and feels at home!! The staff is so caring, kind, and makes sure everyone feels welcome! We also love how veterans are honored and each holiday is celebrated and decorated for!!
