The food is great and the staff could not be friendlier and more helpful if they tried. We only moved here because our family insisted and now we are very glad we did. They have done an outstanding job of protecting all of us from the corona virus. Now that things are opening up somewhat, we are finding out about all of the activities and entertainment that they normally have, Our apartment is very comfortable and nicely laid out. We have also found all of the residents to be very friendly. There is a very happy group of people here, probably because they are treated well. They are very responsive to our needs. They are very pet friendly and because of that there are a lot of pets here. If our little dog could talk, I am sure he would give a 5 star rating. Their name is very appropriate, Resort Style Communities. It is not cheap but a great value for what you get living here. I would give it an unconditional recommendation to anyone.

I think it's a beautiful place. It is well run and nice. The meals are very good. They have a lot of amenities, a small store, meeting rooms, theater, and hair dresser. The community over looks a wooded area. They do have transportation on site to help residents get around.

My sister loves it there and the apartments are nice but small. She love the food and they offer a variety. They have a grill if you would like a burger or something other than the menu choices. The staff are wonderful and right on top of things. I would recommend this community to other families.

The staff is very friendly, i am very happy at Daniel Pointe Retirement. The food is very reasonably. The rooms are very accommodating as well. The friendliness of the staff and the other residents here was what really stood out to me and is why i chose this community.

I love this place, I love the staff, but it is more of a senior independent living place. Because it is an independent living community, there are few care services available to the residents who live here on a daily basis with the staff that we have We chose this community because of the social aspect and the meals. The food is very good, they offer a variety. and they offer room service for meals at no additional cost. They offer tons of activities, including bingo, book club, garden club, library, and many special events. I would highly recommend this community for independent seniors.

I think my mom is extremely happy. As long as the person in truly able to living independently as far as mobility and being coherent , then is really is an excellent place. We are extremely happy with of choice and we have never regretted our decision. We chose this community after looking at many place because the food quality and quantity is good, and they has first floor apartment with outdoor patio for dog walking.

This community is hands down the best in Senior living. They have not left anything out. All the residents are very happy and are enjoying the many activities. The place is well kept and the staff are the friendliest people you could ever meet. They have a theater that will blow you away. As you walk into the community you face a very beautiful pond with live fish in it. The dinning room is very inviting and the food is very good. You wont regret visit this community.

It is a great place for someone that is looking for something smaller. They have 3 meals provided and snacks. My aunt really likes it there. With what is happening today with the Virus I would have been worried if she was on her own trying to get meals to her.I am glad she is there with someone looking out for her. My aunt is active for a 96 year old but I am glad she is not on her own trying to get to grocery stores and such on her own.

My mother moved into the community three weeks before the COVID-19 lock down, so, they currently aren't doing activities, but the activities that they had prior were wonderful, and I am sure that will continue again. The staff are so friendly. We love the flexibility that she was able to bring her dogs. It was just incredible. The coordination of the move in with also incredible. We chose this community because of the socialization, activities, and meals which is a perfect fit for what my mother needed.

My parents were looking for an easier lifestyle. Their home was getting to be to much. Trying to take care of the repairs and the yard. Not to mention my mom wanted to truly retire. She wanted to be done with cooking and cleaning. My parents found Cactus Valley Resort Retirement. It is the most beautiful retirement home I have ever seen, and it has everything you need. My parents are dining with friends every night now, and really enjoying the food. They have a theater on site, and they show all kinds of movies. The managers have been so nice and welcoming to my family. The staff they have hired is truly impressive. They are all wonderful, friendly and helpful. I am ready to retire now.

Sky Pointe has proven to be a great choice for stress free, comfortable lifestyle. The staff takes care of all our needs. Everyone is cheerful and happy to be here. Beautiful facility, great food, many activities.

We are extremely pleased with our decision to relocate, downsize, enjoy our final chapters at Huntley Springs. It was the best choice for us providing safety, security, sociability and stressfree living. And, we could bring our pets! Our children are also grateful that we have made these choices for ourselves...freeing them from excessive concern about us. We have made many new friends, and enjoy all the weekly and special events. The dining experience is at the top of our appreciation and enjoyment level Love our new home!

My parents moved to Emerald Oaks just a little over a week ago. I cannot possibly say enough in this review to give credit to this amazing place. When the word “resort” is used, it is not an exaggeration. Emerald Oaks is beautiful and perfectly maintained. The staff is extraordinary. [Name removed] was so welcoming and helpful, [names removed] are obviously a great choice for resident managers. Everything was done to ensure that my parents were making a good decision. I have not encountered a single staff member who has been less than helpful. As I have opportunity to meet the residents, they are obviously happy to be there. That speaks highly of this wonderful place. The meals are exceptional and there are many activities. There is even an actual movie theater!!! My parents are very happy to have found Emerald Oaks, and that is the best endorsement of all. [Name removed]

Wonderful facility! Both [names removed] (nursing coordinator for home health) were open to working with my mother. Would recommend this facility to anyone looking for independent living placement. Unfortunately, I think my mother needs more help than they can provide, especially if wheelchair is needed.

The presentation and luncheon at Hampton Inn (no tour because the place is under construction) was excellent! The presenters gave a realistic picture of benefits of Senior Independent Living at Okatie Pines. We put down a completely refundable deposit which will give our mom priority selection of one of the units as well as many other benefits. We plan to visit another, ‘sister’ community near Charleston after the new year to get a better idea of how Okatie Pines will look and function after the New Year.

After touring numerous places in the Kansas City metro area, we overwhelmingly chose Riverstone. It is a beautiful facility that reminds you of a luxurious hotel or cruise ship when you walk into the lobby. The Senior Living consultant, [name removed], is engaging and knowledgeable about the issues Seniors face when making this transition. The staff is friendly, helpful, and committed to their residents. The food choices are varied, delicious, and far more extensive than any other place we visited. There are numerous activities available daily. The other residents are friendly and eager to make you feel at home. Our apartment has a full kitchen (unlike most of the other places we visited), granite countertops, washer/dryer hookups, and a large balcony. We also have weekly maid service and any maintenance requests are taken care of immediately. Riverstone is located near many shopping/activity opportunities. There is a variety of floor plans and apartment sizes available, garages are available, and the cost is varied according to your choices. We love living at Riverstone and recommend it highly!

We've lived here for 6 weeks and love it. The people are so friendly that if you don't say Hi or Hello or some kind of acknowledgement they give you a frown. The building is spotless. Activities going on all day long. Excellent food. Apartments cleaned once a week. They take you for appointments or shopping, just ask. Large theater for movies, concerts, church services and other entertainment. All utilities included including the housecleaning. Couldn't ask for more. And best of all: ice cream 24 hours a day.

Beautiful layout. Extraordinary amenities. Feels like indoor cruise ship. Beautiful and spacious apartments. Delicious food. Does not take Medicaid applications.
