Great activities. Lots of card games from Bridge to King in the Corner. Board games and Cornhole are scheduled. Half of the residents participate in the Wii bowling league. The staff, especially the managers, are wonderful.

Beautiful community. Newer building with all the amenities. Apartments with high end finishes - granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Laundry machines in apartment. Friendly helpful staff. Cafeteria style meal service with full salad bar at lunch/dinner. Lots of activities to participate in.

Our senior years are stress free here - and we enjoy activities, games, and various entertainment. There is a vibrant social life at Huntley Springs and we enjoy getting to know a variety of people who eventually became our extended family. I highly recommend this facility based on our nearly three years here. We needed to live a simpler, stress-free retirement. When we found Huntley Springs, the amenities included in our monthly rent would definitely solve the increasing challenges that we faced living in our homestead. We are now almost 3 years into enjoying life at Huntley Springs and have NO regrets in making that choice.

I have lived here 2 1/2 years and do not plan on moving. I really like it here. Food is good and lots of activities and friendly people. Keep our help here - no changes please!!

This is a great place and my husband and I are thrilled with it! I tell my family all the time how happy we are here. They charge one flat monthly rate and everything is included: meals, cable, internet etc. So even though it seems more expensive than some other places, when you consider that, it's worth every penny. There are no other fees or costs. All of the residents are so friendly. The dining room is beautiful and always nice and neat. Good quality and variety of food. The chef greets us and welcomes feedback. I really like that the meal times are longer hours for each meal, it helps the dining area be less crowded. The activities are great, such a wide variety. We have Family Feud tomorrow. We just had a talent show which was so fun. The activities director is absolutely wonderful. The staff is wonderful. They're always pleasant and make it a point to visit with us and speak to us even in passing. They know us by name. Housekeeping keeps our apartment clean and takes care of things in between when needed. We have a resident meeting once a month with the manager and also with the chef. They take the time to get feedback from the residents and they do make changes from that feedback as needed. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

I moved my mother into Chenal Pines almost 2 years ago, and it was an answer to prayers. It is a very vibrant, fun, caring community! My mother can age in place in a beautiful environment!

We went to see my dad's close friend, who is an incredibly lovely woman. Her home is amazing; it has a wonderful atmosphere and a staff that is very professional. Although we would prefer to let him stay at [removed], my dad was also encouraged to relocate here. e have heard great things about this location.

I would definitely recommend Chartiers Bend Retirement Resort. Mom made a somewhat rush decision, but chose a great community! The staff is always fantastic. The meals are ok, mom chooses to only eat one meal a day there, but no complaints from her on the food. The facility is so clean, beautiful, and smells good. The residents are lovely also. Mom is still getting settled in, so she hasn't participated in the activities yet, but there are a wide variety to choose from.

Towne Center Retirement has been awesome. The residents have flexibility, if they want to participate in the activities provided they can or they can stay in their apartments. The onsite managers as well as all of the employees have been so responsive to concerns and participation. You get a sense of family if you ant to be interactive. I would absolutely recommend this facility to others looking for independent living.

You know I shopped around for a place for my mom over a year and hands down Huntley Spring is the cream of the crop. Everyone there is so friendly the food is delicious so many activities 2 movies A-day room service I mean I can't ask for anything more!!

We are in a 2 bedroom apartment- it is bright and big and has wonderful storage space. The parking is easy. The food is very good - we are in transition right now getting a new chef. They have a lot of activities provided for the residents and they add more all the time especially if residents show interest. It is a very friendly atmosphere and I would definitely recommend Shell Harbor to others looking.

I think it's great there. Unique, friendly, beautiful, feels safe.

Everyone is definitely very friendly and very willing to help. It's a great setup, how everything is bundled into one price. It's been a great experience and I would recommend Deerfield Springs to others!

Provident Crossings was virtually the same as the place we ended up choosing and absolutely love. It was a friendly, safe, and happy environment. And the longevity of the management there was impressive.

This is probably as close to a cruise ship atmosphere you can get, where your needs are met and the staff are very friendly and want o make sure that you feel comfortable, safe, and happy. The food is delicious. Overall, it's such a comfortable, happy place. Every resident I see is happy. And if you ask them, they'll tell you the same. At the other places that we looked at, it was obvious not everyone was happy living there, and they had complaints. We never hear any complaints here at Lakeline Oaks.

Oak Park Retirement Resort has a very caring staff and the maintenance is very prompt. Most of the residents I've met are very happy living there, which creates a very positive atmosphere. My dad participates in quite a few activities, mostly including bingo and other games. Oak Park offers transportation to appointments and stores, they also allow pets. They have a beauty salon, a small store, and a bank that's actually inside the building. When you walk through the community, it looks like an upscale hotel. They even have a Koi pond in the entrance way with some pretty nice sized fish. Housekeeping visits my parents room on a weekly basis. Their apartment is a 2 bedroom, and the master bedroom is huge at about 15x30ft. The second bedroom is about 13x13ft. They have two big walk in closets and two bathrooms. The living and kitchen area are combined into one and it's very spacious. The apartment came with a full kitchen; a stove & oven, a microwave above it, about 3 quarters sized fridge, and quite a bit of cabinet space. They also have washer and dryer hook ups. Overall I would definitely recommend Oak Park Retirement Resort to others.

Shell Harbor is very pleasant and very friendly - which is very important. They could offer more activities, but they have housekeeping services once a week, and a washer and dryer in unit. If you're not up to it, they'll do your laundry for an additional fee. They'll deliver any meal to your door for no additional cost if you don't want to go down to the dining area. I have cable and internet and the apartments are beautiful. I have a 2 bedroom 2 bath, with a full kitchen and lots of storage. There's free parking with plenty of spots in the lot, and covered parking is available for a fee. There's also a valet service to bring your car up for you, and if you have a walker, they'll help you in your car. They offer transportation M-F to appointments and stores. We especially like that if you move to independent to assisted living, you're allowed to stay in your apartment with caregivers/aides who will come in and help you. That extra help does come at an additional cost, but that's the case with other communities as well.

So far it has been a good experience. The staff and residents are friendly and helpful. The staff are willing to answer my questions any time I have had one. The staff have been willing to accommodate my loved one in bringing a meal to them in their room. There is a washer and dryer and a full kitchen in the apartment for my loved one to use.

We really liked this community. It was super clean and it opened a lot of opportunities for socialization. they had a happy hour for the residents to all get together but this community was a little too pricey for my loved one and her budget. The tour was awesome and the guide was personable and made us feel at home and showed us everything and mingled with other guest. They wear name tags at this community to help everyone get to know each other.
