I wasn’t sure if I was ready to give up my house, but one visit to Seaside Springs showed me that it was the perfect spot for me to live. The community welcomed me and my dog and I have never been happier! The food is great and the activities are plentiful. I appreciate the housekeeping services and utilize the heated pool daily. I have met very diverse people that stimulate interesting conversations. Every day is a new experience!

This is the best place I've been so far. I lived 5 years at another independent living community. Everyone has been so friendly to me since day one. The community is also very clean. I wish I could get more of my friends to move here. I have called many of them to tell them to come visit and see what Aspen Trail offers.

A little over 3 months ago we moved into Capital Oaks on Ray Road. We have been on many cruises and living here is a lot like being on a cruise. All meals are included and we can have soft serve ice cream any time. Our apartment is cleaned regularly (also included). If anything needs repairs we just phone the front desk. There are many activities such as card games, book club, knitting/sewing club, "destination" presentations, and outings to interesting places. The residents and staff are friendly and quick to offer advice when we ask. But Capital Oaks is better than a cruise because our apartment is bigger than a stateroom and does not rock so we don't get seasick. Also we have a full sized kitchen with appliances and a full sized washer and dryer. The gym is just the right size. If we need help (health issues, etc.)we just call the front desk or push the button on our "life alert type of device." They have us covered here, entertainment, support for aging, and comfortable living.

We've just moved in but would rate all categories 5 at this time. Everyone has been friendly, kind, and knowledgeable about the facility. They respond to messages in a timely manner and offer solutions when needed.

Fantastic place! After only a short time here, we feel at home and like we're part of the larger family. Common areas are very well maintained and always clean. Every one from management to kitchen staff to housekeepers to other residents have been very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Independent Living, so no personal care involved, but 5 for staff such as housekeeping. On-site Resident Managers and 24-hour front desk concierge make life much easier! Meals and dining is a 5+. Great meals, plus snacks available 24/7. Huge assortment of activities and twice a week Happy Hours! Compared to the others we visited, there is no comparison. *They're part of a large company, Resort Lifestyle Communities, with over 50 US locations and many more under construction. If you live here, you can reserve and stay at any other property for up to 4 or 5 nights FREE of charge. There's a Guest Suite here that rents for $[fee removed]/night, breakfast included. *Maintenance will take care of anything you need from hanging pictures on the walls to hooking up your cable when you move in. *The staff strongly encourages everyone to think of this as their home: want to use a conference room? Let them know. Want to sit in the dining room all night drinking coffee and eating soft-serve ice cream? Go for it! Just not in your PJ's, please. Want a bunch of friends over for a movie? They'll set up the theater for you. *Valet parking! I'm only going to use it when there's snow to be cleared from our car. Or on the very rare occasions I can't find a close spot. They do have garages available, for an additional $[fee removed]/month. There's a waiting list and they're a fair distance away -- use the valet parking. *The only negative we've encountered is a lack of storage space. Though we downsized before moving, we got rid of a little more after getting here. We're fortunate to have the largest one-bedroom model, which gives us a 10'x10' walk-in closet in our bedroom. It's full of clothes, with nowhere else for off-season items. *In-unit full size washers and dryers are a real plus. *The kitchens here are amazing! They have all the appliances you'd expect built into your home. But you don't have to cook if you don't want to! They're still perfect for hobby or Holiday baking. *The building is less than 5 years old, so in great shape. It's not even at capacity yet, though getting close, I hear. *Lastly: I am, at 63, by far the youngest resident here, but almost everyone is active and involved. I don't feel out of place. I know that was a lot. We have 2 sets of friends ready to move in and I was trying to think of what I told them that wasn't basic, but important to our decision -- or our happiness now that we're here

I have been Leaving here for a year and two days. I have meet so many great people. I have been almost too busy. I have never felt so safe. A resident left me her cat. So of course I am never caught talking to myself. I’ve organized an Artist group which meets once a week. I am advocating of all the visually unpaired. That takes care of my teaching certificates. I have found a meaningful and productive life here at Chartiers Bend. I invite all my friends to come here

Riverstone is close to shopping, hospitals and the shuttle takes me where I need to go. I have met a lot of nice people, including [name removed] who is my boyfriend. He was looking for someone to hang out with and I am happy I have him to be with. I like the food and have fun at the activities. The staff and management know what they are doing. I feel cared for and safe here.

I like having a housekeeper every week, she helps me keep things nice and clean. We have a shuttle that takes us where we need to go. The staff is great and the managers are number #1. They care a lot about us and Riverstone. I like the food, always good. There is always something fun to do. We can come and go as we please, but we always know that there is help if needed. I met my sweetheart here and we love being together.

A place to discover the real world of retirement among a contemporary mix of couples and singles that can enjoy the beautiful building in a natural location in Platte County Missouri that is conveniently located near transportation and shopping. The Riverstone facilities are equiped to provide transportation, housing, food, entertainment, and living assistance with varying levels of support for medical and living needs. The support is matched to needs with medical support individualized to meet the individual needs. Additional medical care is available if needed from specialist care and nearby hospitals. Programs for learning, entertainment, families, and holidays are available on site or nearby shopping and communities. Staff support is amazing, the food is great, and the interaction with other seniors is amazing. Medical support is close by and quick reacting when needed. The Kansas City metropolitan area has virtually everything you might need.

Had a great tour at Riverstone. From the moment I walked in the door, I was treated like a VIP! There were several personal touches, all the staff members I met knew my name, they have everything that I am looking for. I joined them for lunch and the food was great, and I met several friendly residents who told me how much they loved it here. I loved how everything cooked is fresh made and not frozen. Saw an apartment that was perfect. They were very transparent with pricing and I left will everything I needed to help me make a decision. I understand that they are a family business and that’s how I was treated. When I decide, Riverstone will be it because they have it all. The residents and staff couldn’t have been nicer. You can tell they care and love what they do!

I’ve lived at Riverstone over 9 years, I enjoy activities here. I enjoy the other residents in the building I have made many friends here my favorite thing is happy hour and playing pool in the billiards room I love playing poker.

I have a lot of friends here. I like all of the activities that I’ve been engaged in. I think that room is very well organized. I think the food could be better with a little more thought on if you have chili and hotdog dogs or hamburgers then you don’t need something else that is not compatible with it.

I cannot imagine living anywhere else. Our staff is wonderful. My apartment is great. I have made wonderful friends here. I love all the activities and am involved in many of them. I cannot imagine living anywhere else.

This is a great place to live including all amenities I like playing left right center, bingo, some craft projects, happy hour, meals with friends, movies, puzzles, and exercises. I love sewing and do alterations for many residents.

I am very thankful for our lead concierge as she is so helpful to me. She has always been here for me. We have garages for your car and valet service. It would be a wonderful place for Mom. Friendly atmosphere.

It's better than home. Where else can I get 3 meals a day and a good place take a nap. I enjoy the people I have met. Riverstone Retirement Resort [removed]. Thank you.

I can’t imagine living anywhere else. I lived here a couple years ago. I left for a few months to sell my house but came right back. I have a lot of friends here and I love the food. The staff and management are wonderful. I don’t have any complaints. I recommend Riverstone for anyone who wants to have a great time and a lot of social activities and friends. I feel safe here.

Everything at Riverstone has been wonderful! I’ve met great friends and love the social atmosphere. There are lots of activities and great entertainment. There’s always something to do here too.

I love living here at Riverstone. There is always someone around to help you no matter the need. The experiences I have had here with other residents and staff or visitors has been quite a delight. My home.
