This is a beautiful, well thought of community. It is home. There are many people that you can enjoy their company. Meals in the beautiful dining room are delicious and laughter can be heard throughout. The lifestyle coordinator has planned lots of fun, different activities for us. It is truly a wonderful place.

I took two weeks and shopped eight places. I found that the less expensive were not very good, and the more expensive were no better; some were actually worse. Lived here seven years and still very happy. Would not consider moving elsewhere! Beautiful and clean with great fun daily activities, food, and staff. Residents are respected and encouraged to be active and participate in as many activities as they are able. I cannot say enough! If you’re looking for the best place to retire in San Antonio, you’ve found it!

I have been here over two years now and am so glad I came. It is where I need to be at this stage of my life. The security, amenities, food, (did you know we have the #1 chef in all the RLC facilities?), accommodations, activities, travel opportunities and friendships are outstanding--and I have visited and had contact with many other facilities, so I speak from experience. Come visit and see what we are about!

Moved into Quarry Ridge in [date removed]. We are still happy with our choice to sell our house and to find a place with care options we wanted. Quarry Ridge did not require a very large investment as several area facilities do. This was very important to us. As an independent living 55+ facility, here we enjoy our meals, weekly housekeeping and the many activities offered. We enjoy the care of a great management team and staff who cheerfully help us. We have met so many friendly residents who support each other. Our children are happy we chose Quarry Ridge, too.

As difficult as it is to admit that getting older has its challenges I know that I made the best decision moving to Lakeview. Great people and friendly staff. No longer cooking and cleaning they do it for me!

I’ve lived at Lakeview for over a year and this is definitely home! The staff and managers make me feel like this is my extended family. Best decision I made was moving to Lakeview. Lots of activities and my apartment is very nice.

I moved in here just five months back and have far more limited experience here than my neighbors. But I have found this a very welcoming community. Honestly, as a South Asian immigrant into this country (even though I have been living for more than 48 years), I had some qualms about whether I would fit into (lets be frank about it) a nearly all-White community. But the warm reception that I have received from my fellow residents and the staff has been overwhelming. Unlike most other residents, I still wok fulltime. As a result, my work schedule does not permit participation in many of the activities that are carefully planned But, to the extent possible, I try to be there and feel like a part of a larger family. The dining hall staff try to be as accommodative as possible to cater to our diverse tastes and needs. The thrice-a-week fitness sessions are spiced with humor by the leader and one forgets the aches and pain in one's knees! I am glad that I moved into a vibrant community!

After losing his second wife, our Dad was struggling being on his own, but he didn't qualify for assisted living. Even at his advanced age, his daily living skills remain quite good, but he was lonely and clearly needed some kind of help and support. Robinwood was the perfect solution! I tell people it's like a cruise ship on land without a pool. But it has everything else you could want! The staff is so accommodating and kind. The food is great and we love being able to come have meals with Dad anytime we want. Restaurant style dining and a variety menu make it a pleasure to eat there. And I love that it's apartment living, not just a room. Feels like home! And being able to have Home Health caregivers come in to his apartment for minor assistance when he needs it is such a great resource available right there inside Robinwood. I tell everyone who will listen about this wonderful place!

My husband and I moved here a little over a year ago. we both like the people and the staff here. If you need assistance with anything, ask and you will get help or they will try to help you find you the help you need. The rooms are clean and the food is good. The bus service is very handy on the days they run. Come and see this place. You will like it.

In [date removed], I opened my mailbox and found a flyer advertising a downsizing event to be hosted at Briar Pointe Retirement Community. I never look at those; I throw them immediately in the recycle, but for some reason, this one caught my eye. My wife had passed away almost a year before, I was 84 years old, and I had my own physical issues, so I needed to think about where I was going to live out the rest of my days. None of that was really on my mind when I made the call to ask about the downsizing event. They offered me a tour and a free meal, and it was only 6 miles from where I lived. After hearing the price, I went home and calculated what it cost me to own and live in a home independently. When I added up all the numbers, it turned out to be cheaper to live here at Briar Pointe Retirement Community. Six weeks later, my house was on the market, and I had moved in. I have never regretted that decision for a moment.

We chose this facility because everyone was so warm and welcoming. The food is top notch! I visit my dad twice a week here and everyone already knows me, even though it’s only been a few months. The staff goes out of their way to ensure that everyone is well taken care of. PT and OT on site is amazing. They provide excellent care to their clients and follow up with me as to the status of my dad. They also listen to my concerns and adjust their therapy based on my input and what my dad needs.

From the moment I entered, I knew this was different than the 5 other places I had toured for my mom. She has been at Aspen Trail for 4 months and has been thriving! The change in her has been unbelievable. For years, she had isolated herself and rarely left the house, no friends or socializing. Within weeks, she was laughing and smiling more than I have seen in years. She has a regular group of friends she eats with, does activities with and so full of joy whenever I visit. The facility is very clean, well maintained and beautifully decorated throughtout. They provide great opportunities for exercise, entertainment and activities for the residents. But, the heart of the place lies in the staff. Every single one, in every department has show true kindness to the residents. I spend alot of time there and see it firsthand. You stop being a stranger within days living there. My mom is happy and our family is blessed to have found such a wonderful place.

It is Clean, contemporary with very courteous staff and in a good location.

My grandma was a resident of Stone Oak in Hilliard, Ohio for over 7 years. She reluctantly left her home of many years after her husband died. She quickly became acclimated and thrived at Stone Oak until she passed at 101 years young. The activities were so creative and engaging, there was something for everyone. The staff took care of her as if she was one of their own family members. My grandma made wonderful friends. As a family, we knew she was safe. We can’t say enough wonderful things about Stone Oak and as a family we are forever grateful for the community they provided for my grandmother.

My dad recently moved into the SP location in Lincoln, NE, and we couldn’t be happier. Everyone - staff and residents alike - is so friendly. The Activities a Director is superb and has things going all day long that people can participate in. The concierges are phenomenal and always super helpful. The food options are also fantastic. You will never go hungry. Love, love, love this place.

Maple Ridge offers plenty of activities for residents and a suggestion box for any ideas to add to the activity list. Buffet is great and chef [name removed]is the best! Friendly and supportive staff make it a home away from home. Great amenities!

I moved into my residence 2 1/2 years ago. I really enjoy all of the amenities and the people are wonderful. I really enjoy the food and my family comes every Sunday for Brunch. I really enjoy movie every night and the unlimited popcorn and Ice Cream!! The gym is very nice and convenient.

I am so glad my parents can call this place home. They feel safe and secure. They have all the amenities of home. They can live independently while knowing the staff if nearby if they need help. They offer 3 meals a day plus snacks. Many activities available. My did utilizes the free blood pressure screening and the Catholic services that are available.

I have lived in Coronado Villa for just over a year. My apartment is very nice with all the necessary appliances and a weekly cleaning service. I am provided three meals a day but can cook in my apartment if I wish. The food is good and there are always two protein choices for each meal. All utilities including cable TV are provided in my monthly rent, so I have no unexpected costs related to my living expenses. The facility is kept very clean, and the activities director has plenty of activities to keep the residents busy if they wish. The staff is exceptional. They are very friendly and go out of their way to make sure the residents are happy. And as a result, the residents are also very friendly ad seem to be very happy too. I would recommend Coronado Villa to anyone looking to downsize and simplify their life.

My mother has been living at Quarry Ridge Retirement Community in Fitchburg, WI for over a year. When I visit I feel like I’m walking into a hotel. The meals are always great, the activities and entertainment are thoroughly enjoyed by my mother!! Things I used to worry about (nutrition, personal safety, home security, short transportation needs, and social opportunities)…. They are no longer concerns! She is happy living there and brags about the “all inclusive resort” feature. We have also contracted the third party provider “assisted support” for laundry services and some short term medication management. They are such a positive addition to the Quarry Ridge staff that support my mother. So happy we found this independent living community where my mother is thriving!
