We moved my 96 yo, mother to Legacy Ridge about 3 weeks ago after she had had a fall. She had been living by herself in her own home since my father passed away 8 yrs. ago. She has mild dementia that has been getting gradually worse and she had been forgetting to eat and drink. My mom has always been a very independent woman and always took exceptional care of herself but has come to the stage in life that she needed a little help. Since she has moved into Legacy Ridge at Peachtree we have notice a very positive change in her behavior. She Loves it there. The increase in socialization and the attention that she gets from the staff has been wonderful and we are so glad that they had an apartment available for her when we needed it,

Everything has been a 5 star experience, except with the activities which we honestly can't grade. My sister is deaf and will not participate in activities as her choice. I have seen others in group activities and they seem to be doing good. I am very impressed with the Oaks!!! Based on the experience we have had so far, we would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

Placing mom at Legacy Ridge at Sandy Plains, was one of the best decisions I have made since mom's primary caregiver. After caring for her almost seven years, I was reluctant to let her go anywhere else. But the staff at Legacy Ridge were so helpful and kind, the decision turned out to be an easy one! I am super pleased with her room and the facility in general, but what makes this place so wonderful is the level of care that mom is receiving. They truly care about her and her well-being. I also appreciate how they communicate with me and continue to update me on moms progress.

Facility is clean and well managed-staff. Friendly and helpful. Location is great as other familiy members live close by with easy access.

My mom has been at Legacy Ridge for almost a year now. She loves the activities and always comments on how they keep the residents involved. She has made many new friends with not only the residents, but the staff as well. The entire staff is so friendly and welcoming, to not only the residents, but friends and family of the residents. They take the time to get to know them and are always interacting with everyone. I'm very grateful we found Legacy Ridge and that my mom feels like she is at home with the new friends she has made.

The staff of Legacy Ridge are amazing. They are client-focused, demonstrating a " can do" attitude. My mom has lived at Legacy Ridge for nearly a year and I can say that if I have any type of concern, no matter how trivial, I will receive a response within the hour. I've been so impressed by their communications! But beyond their commitment to care, they always show up with a smile on their faces. It means so much to see the genuine love, care and satisfaction they give and receive each day. Legacy Ridge Peachtree City is truly a special place!

My mother has been at Legacy Ridge for a year. Her transition to assisted living was pretty much seamless. Even though she was hesitate at first, Staff and management were/are very attentive to my mother’s needs. They are always friendly and when questions or concerns were brought up, they addressed them immediately with care and professionalism. The activities are just perfect for her. There are crafts, music, lunch trips, ice cream socials and various other things that make it very much like a resort right there where she lives. Mom enjoys the food as well. It certainly eases my mind that she is at such a lovely place to live and thrive.

Very friendly and professional. Seem to genuinely care about the residents not just my loved one. Big relief for my husband and myself. Would highly recommend the facility.

My grandmother recently moved into Legacy Ridge. She has been living with my mother for years. It was time for her to move and she is enjoying meeting new friends and being social. The activity girl is awesome. Always bubbly.

My aunt moved into this community and is very happy. Her family is glad she is happy and safe. Thanks to everyone at Legacy Ridge.

My husband and I looked at many communities and Legacy Ridge was a favorite. The whole experience from the tour to the move in went great. Mom loves all the activities that are available. We are very pleased.

I toured with Legacy Ridge at Sandy Plains and it seemed like a pretty nice place! Although I did not see any residents out and about during my time there. Legacy Ridge had a base price with levels of care added in. It was too expensive. I encourage everyone to take a tour and do their due diligence. All of these places are super eager to get you in there and pictures can be deceiving.

My mom has been at Legacy Ridge Peachtree for seven months and we could not be happier! She is so well cared for by the staff. There is a fun activity every single day which my mom loves! [name removed] the activities director, does a fabulous job of providing a variety of entertainment and fun things to do. She is so creative! On days when I cannot get by to visit my mom, it is great to see her having fun on a Facebook post! I highly recommend Legacy Ridge Peachtree.

Hearing the words that a room was available was an answer to prayer. After having a bad experience at another Assisted Living Facility, we had high hopes for Legacy Ridge after reading reviews and talking with residents and staff. We have not been disappointed. The activities are abundant and geared to all levels of abilities. The activities director does an amazing job of including all the residents and goes out of her way to help those that have additional challenges. The meals have been impressive, and having options makes it even better. The staff has been very kind and supportive. Knowing my parent is in a facility that cares about her and cares for her, gives us peace of mind that the decision we made to move her to Legacy Ridge was the best decision for her.

We wish we made the move sooner. I know we were reluctant to move from her home. We didn't realize how much fun she would be having and how much they spoil her. There is so much to do. And she's made friends and they do things after a full day. The food is great. We love [name reoved], the Director. And [name removed] makes sure we have fun.

To be loved, is to be known! The residents at Legacy Ridge are so well known & definantly loved! Activities are abundant, and [name removed] does an amazing job ensuring there is something for everyone throughout each day! Art, music, trivia, bingo, ice cream bars and scavenger hunts keep everyone active and engaged.

I have had the opportunity of setting in on some of the Activities at the Legacy Ridge at Peachtree and must say they are professionally managed and presented to the residents of the community in a best interest and friendly manner. The caring and love is shown by all staff members during these activities and is much appreciated by all the residents. With the recent addition of a six passenger golf cart added to the activities the residents will now have the opportunity to ride and discover the trails throughout the local area.

We feel so fortunate to have found Legacy Ridge at Peachtree. It was a hard decision to move my mother to assisted living but she settled in quickly and was even able to bring her cat, Sadie, with her. I love that the community is a small size and everyone knows everyone else. The Nursing Director and her medical staff are caring and attentive; the head Chef prepares tasty meals and the Executive Director is very involved in all aspects of the community and works closely with the staff to make sure the residents are happy and well taken care of. Best of all, the Activities Director encourages residents to participate in the many activities that are available on any day of the week, always with a smile on her face. The many different activity options keep the residents engaged, busy, and happy. We are thrilled and my mother can't imagine living anywhere else.

Activities director is outstanding!!! I think Legacy Ridge is a good place for seniors and is a friendly place. They have gone through a little turn over but seem to be doing well at getting good people to replace the ones leaving.

I never thought my mom would love participating in activities but she sure does! the activities director provides a great program at Legacy Ridge of Sandy Plains. Structure and consistency is very important to my mom as is having fun and the she provides all three. The activities director arranges great musical performances unfortunately my mom is not interested but she will not miss bingo for anything. So there is something for everyone and the activities director is very encouraging to all the residents and always tries to get them to do new things. Exercise class is something my mom would rather (she's never liked to exercise) not do but she knows it's good for her and I love that activities director and the wonderful staff always makes sure she is there every day. Thank you to the activities director and Legacy Ridge staff for keeping my mom engaged and involved.
