Pleasant staff and units were OK but didn't have full kitchen.

I liked Atria. It was very nice and director was helpful.

Very nice home. But, they charge extra fees pre day of $5 and also $15 extra per month.

Beautiful facility. It was clean and neat but there were residents wandering around confused.

Liked size of facility. However we decided a private room with full private bath would be best for Mom. Also did not serve breakfast in room. Liked method of medication management.

We visited, met with director, and loved it. This is #1 choice so far. . .

Furnishings dated but residents are engaged.

We have had a number of negative experiences since we first signed on. We were told that there was no staff turnover since it was built. From our first day there the staff turnover began. Our ambassador was asked to leave and we consequently never even had our initial introduction. Never found out when laundry day was. There were caretaker meetings we didn't even know about. We had trouble finding someone to help with initial set up type questions. We were promised frequent communication and that has consistently been an issue. My loved one has even been put on medicine without our knowledge. They promised all sorts of ways they monitor the residents. My loved ones bed sensor was never installed, no one could ever answer my question about how much fluid she was passing, and one night she was up most of the night vomiting and diarrhea and no one checked on her, nope did they tell us she was sick. Another time she slept in another residents room all night and no one even noticed.

The staff are good but they do not have a lot of staff to take care of everyone which can cause some issues. I am disappointed in the billing because they do not provide statements on a regular basis and you have to ask to see them, they are also not available online. It seems that there are two people managing the community and they may also be in charge of the billing. I feel like the assisted living side is better than the memory care side just due to the freedom.

The sales process was great. The food is horrible, cleaning conditions are horrible. Dietary restrictions are not being followed. Healthy snacks are not being left out anymore. My loved one complains daily about it. I had to call corporate about concerns and awaiting to hear back. At first I thought it was my loved one and now I see pictures of the food from my loved one of what the food looks like. Bread, no butter. Salad, 2 dressings and no other options. The executive chef created a food and meal menu that you cant really pronounce and you don't really know what the food is. They seem to be out of the backup foods when you don't want the main meal. Sometimes my loved one doesn't get food. She had a leak in her bathroom and it took a week to get fixed. Her ac was broken and made tons of noise. It took what felt like awhile to get fixed. There is a lack of communication. Billing is wrong, I have to call them to figure out why their are errors. It seems to be one thing after another with this place. She was told she can't save seats for certain people to sit together. She was told to come early and sit and wait for hours to be able to sit together. Laundry is only allowed during hours after 4 pm. We are having to pay for food for her to cook in her room because the food isn't something she can eat sometimes. We pay for her meals and she cant even eat the food.

Our family had an in person tour and the tour experience was terrible. It did not seem very clean, and certain areas and rooms smelled musty. The room they showed us was absolutely filthy, and smelly.

The staff members were very friendly and nice, but there were times where it seemed like the nursing staff was not very experienced. The food was pretty good and the value for cost was just okay.

If your loved one is not mobile this is not the place to go. It takes too much time for them to respond to my loved one's needs. Some of the staff are very nice and do a good job.

We never know what is going on. We ask for a paper with the stages or phases and they never get back to us. Only certain people are able to go out or have guests. We don’t do that or want to until it is safe. We don’t understand why cutting back on food is helpful to this virus. There are no activities. The biggest problem is we lost our transportation, even when our doctors opened up. Things are very unorganized. I am speaking for many, many people. The cleaning staff is very nice and helpful. The new sales person is wonderful. The woman who does Maintanance is a gem. The activities director is kind but unable to do much. We don’t understand why management doesn’t let him use his budget on us.

The food is not up to par. There is not a lot of leadership or appropriate management. My mom has a great size room. The layout of the community is convenient for the residents. They have a gazebo and garden area in the back for the residents.

While I really like my apartment and enjoy the premises, there are so many issues that never seem to get fixed. residents say nothing at the meetings out of fear that their rent will get hiked. The biggest issue is food. It has gotten so bad that people are going hungry. The nutritional values are not good and not balanced. Too heavy on carbs and not enough fresh vegetables that are edible. Almost everything comes in boxes off a truck ready to heat up. Tonight’s turkey taco salad was revolting- most of the Turkey was actually kidney beans. Beans do not go in taco salad. At the very least the menu should be honest about what is really being served. There is way too much salt in the food. Once in a while they will make something excellent and then never repeat it or, if they do, it is not the same. Considering how high the rent is, you get a small apartment, 15 minutes of house “cleaning”, disorganized activities, disinterested management, and really bad food.

Overall, this place is as good as most others, I think. However, there are a few ways they could improve. We have had not-so-good experiences in the dining room. (For instance, not giving my mother her food and when we asked about it, the girl saying she had eaten and they had cleared her plate. We were there; we knew better!). There is definitely room for improvement there. My mother needs a lot of care. I wish there could be more one-on-one in that regard. And quicker response. Of course, that would mean hiring more people. Wouldn't it be great if there were volunteers who could spend time with those who can't get around or help themselves???!!! I live out of state and only get to visit about three times a year.

called front desk tonight after phone call with my mother dropped and unable to contact her. asked they send someone to check on her. half hour later i called back again. said they'd have her call me. no call. called back again. no one ever asked my name during this but i left it on the first call. on 3rd call said i'd was simply calling the local police to please see what was wrong. 5 min later they called the local family member on file and they verified she was fine. had she been in a stroke it would have been more than 45 min to have her checked on. no one from the staff ever called me back nor asked my identity or contact number when i called.
