I have family members who reside at Emerald Gardens. My husband and I work and knew our parents needed care beyond what we could provide. Emerald Gardens has been an incredible answer in meeting their needs of assistance, safety, activities, and genuine caring. The leadership at Emerald Gardens is professional and approachable. I sleep better at night knowing there is someone available at all times to help as they need. I highly recommend Emerald Gardens when facing the decisions of increased care

Our mother has been living at Emerald Gardens for 15 months, following the death of our dad. We are so pleased with the kindness, friendliness, and professionalism of the care team. Not only are her needs met, but in a way that preserves her dignity, and causes her to recognize that the staff members truly know and care about her as an individual.. The activities offered not only fill the hours, but also foster interaction and friendship among the residents and staff. The residents have a lot of fun engaging in various activities weekly - both on and off campus. My mom mentions often how grateful she is for the three meals daily, noting the food is good, and she is thrilled to be relieved of the burden of meal planning, grocery shopping, preparation, and cleanup! It is a great comfort to us to know that she is getting her daily medications consistently. My sister and I visit frequently, and we feel that Emerald Gardens is a “home away from home” for us all - a second family!

I would recommend it. It's a great facility. The employees love my father despite him being a difficult resident. They have really gotten to know him and treat him like family truly. I walk in the door and the know my name and who my father is to me. Besides one incident, they have responded to my Dads emergencies professionally and quickly.

They had excellent reviews and the location was a perfect fit. I remember [name removed] stopped and interacted with the residents while she was taking us on a tour, and it was clear that the residents were cared for. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. I believe they genuinely care for my mom..

The staff is very kind. They create a warm and home-like environment that sets the tone for residents to do the same. It seems like a family and has made my mom very comfortable during this transition. They have daily activities, monthly theme parties, celebrate residents birthdays, and their food selection is great. I have no complaints about them.

The communication with the executive director was very helpful. The staff is kind and friendly. It is very much a family type atmosphere and my dad seems comfortable and well cared for.

What we like about the Gardens of Statesville is that they are small, friendly, helpful. We were in an emergency placement situation and they bent over backwards to help us. Never did I think my mom was someone filling a space. She was wanted and they wanted to help. Another place said they would take her but then did everything imaginable to prevent her from moving in even when they knew she was not safe at home. The residents at the Gardens are safe and loved, even when their dementia makes them behave in unlovable ways.

All 5s! What we like the most about the community is that the staff seem to really care about the residents. We would absolutely 100% recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

Everything about Emerald Gardens is first class. The staff is very in tuned to what the resident's need. They have so many activities for the resident's to participate in and invite family to join in for many of the activities. They have concerts and weekly church services and the food is extremely tasty. The nursing staff is very attentive and sweet while taking care of the resident's.

They were instrumental in making all the arrangements to find me an adequate place for my father and help me negotiate price with our budget.

Medlock has been great, no issues. Proximity to previous home is why we chose them.

I would definitely recommend it and I also wanted to say they had extracurricular activities like a fall festival where the family and children grandchildren come and interact live music. They had a "happy hour." Weekly in order to allow the residence to interact. There was no negative thing that I could say about the establishment.

I am blessed to be able to go visit a couple there and FaceTime them with their family. The staff is always so wonderful and helpful. Facility is spotless and recently updated to make it more modern. Thank you

The staff is professional, caring and it feels like home to my mother-in-law . The food is good! I would definitely recommend to others.

Concord Place was a wonderful place. Other residents and family members voiced the same. Unfortunately, Concord Place has closed. The owner of that building did not renew the lease. A youth mental health facility is supposedly moving in there. My mama has passed away, but I am heartbroken for the residents that were still there.

Our loved one was at Village Cove for years and was truly treated like part of the family! I absolutely would recommend. I always felt sure that my loved one was in good hands and knew his health and well being was important.

It was clean, smelled good and the staff was very friendly. [name removed], the on site facilitator was excellent to work with.
