The staff and community here are so welcoming! It doesn’t matter if you’re new — everyone stops to say hello and makes you feel included. That means a lot, especially for someone who may not be familiar with this type of industry. It’s a great environment to be part of!

I would recommend others. Food is really good and lots of social activities. My mom is loving Alta Vista senior living. It was a rough first couple of months but she has grown to really like it now.

I have no complaints for the location and what they do with the senior's. I drove the buggy to cars and coffee in San Dimas and a small group of them was walking through the car show. Now I do believe that if the family is active with the staff then it's better.

My mother has been a resident at the Cottages for over 3 years and received wonderful care from generous, loving staff. I'm so grateful to have been in a place I know I can trust.

One of the things I like most about this facility is that they work very hard to provide care that is individualized or customized to meet each residents needs and preferences.

We toured the independent living choices in this community and were so impressed we signed up for the waiting list 2 days later. You get an unattached house with garage for your monthly rent with significant amenities such as utilities, water, garbage service, all maintenance, and six meals a week. The grounds, both for the individual houses and for the common areas, were very neat and well-kept. The only thing we didn’t like was the greyish hard surface flooring they are putting in all units as they become available for new tenants. … not to our taste at all … so lots of carpets will be a must for us. Our tour director could not have been more personable and informative.

The manager was very nice, very informative and able to answer all my questions. The building was very pleasant and welcoming.

I have lived her for a little over two years I really enjoy this community, i like that they keep the grounds well kept, the staff is also very friendly. I like the peacefulness of the community. People are great here .

[name removed] the admin salesperson was excellent to work with, the ladies at the front desk are helpful and kind. The nursing staff and dining staff have been great! The place is decorated well and is clean. We like the activities, busing and kind support. We are very happy so far.

My father has been living at Cottages at Peoria for almost a year. Staff is very friendly and attentive. The communication is easy and timely. I feel good with the care my dad is receiving.

I love how quiet it is, and I’m able to get peace as soon as I get home. The area is really nice and close to all the places that I love to go. There are a lot of people and fellow residents that I love spending time with and I have made many close friends here. I love that the directors and the people in charge are friendly and I love the fact that they’re mostly women. I am very happy here and i have not had many problems in my over 2 years living here. All the helping hands that I need are here.

First, the tour and information provided by Wyndham Lakes staff was informative and thorough. [name removed] answered all our questions and helped us with the paperwork. The admission process was easy and efficient. My mom loves her studio apartment in the independent living area which includes a wonderful little kitchen. It is perfect for her. There are many included amenities like an on site salon, a little convenient store and a full dining room. The covered walkways, ponds and greenery is wonderful. Last, but not least the head maintenance man [name removed] has been a god sent to our family. Not only does take care of all issues with the apartments and facilities he has been such a kind person that always checks on the residents. If you are looking for a place for mom or dad Wyndham Lakes should definitely be checked out.

I’ve lived here for 8 years, and it has become my last home. If I have a problem, the staff has been able to help as quickly and kindly as possible, especially the Executive Director [name removed]. Older people need to stay with their peer groups in order to enjoy life.

My mother-in-law lives at The Cottages at Peoria, and the peace this decision has brought my wife is absolutely priceless. From day one, [name removed]and [name removed]have made us feel like part of the family, and it’s clear the staff truly care about every resident. The home is always clean and inviting, nothing like a typical facility. Every caregiver knows my mother-in-law by name and treats her with kindness and respect. Seeing the love and attention she receives gives us so much comfort. We know she’s in the best possible hands, and that kind of peace of mind is everything.

I’ve visited several memory care homes over the years, but none compare to The Cottages at Peoria. A dear friend’s mom lives there, and every visit reminds me how special this place is. The home is always filled with joy. [name removed] is amazing; she instantly makes everyone feel welcome and supported. [name removed] is compassionate and attentive, and she treats residents like they are family. It’s obvious they put their hearts into everything they do.
