Pacifica Senior Living

I visited Pacifica for a tour and enjoyed my visit. I didn't experience everything in the survey, but had no problem seeing my mother living in a place like this. [name removed] was a welcoming host and answered all my questions. She reached out to others for answers where needed.

Biggest outdoor space available for residents out of all the spaces I toured, lots of music outdoors and indoors, dorm style living with residents assigned to a specific house and the different houses arranged circular on the perimeter of the outdoor space, fairly affordable, bright facility with lots of natural light in their rooms, resident rooms are decent sized, med techs are very caring. Downsides are high turnover with the director, there's been 3 different directors in the last 5 months. When an incident arose, there were not clear policies or procedures in place that were followed, but with advocacy from the family we came to a common acceptable decision

Environment is well decorated for the holidays staff are engaged with with all the resident of food is good needs all the needs of each individual resident continue activities to keep your loved one occupied and brain engaged.

This is the only place worth the money. It's a great place to live. I would recommend it to others and I found it on my own. I had no help from your organization

When it became clear that my elderly mother (who has dementia and other illnesses) needed more care than we could provide at home, we had no idea what to do. It's an overwhelming situation for anyone to cope with. Fortunately, we were recommended to seek out Pacifica Northridge, and I am beyond grateful that we did. A very special staff of deeply dedicated individuals are all there to provide the finest care and attention to the residents at this facility. These people are all heroes in my book. My Mom couldn't be in a better place to take care of her needs, where she is provided with a lovely environment where she feels safe. This is an invaluable quality to family members such as myself who want the very best for their loved one. The very best IS Pacifica Northridge.

Dealing with management and moving in was perfect. Very friendly and accommodating. The facility is always clean. The staff is above and beyond friendly and helpful. The Quality of care is excellent. The food needs change for improved health, it may seem tasty. I like that they give small portions and don't over feed, but the diet is high carb low protein/ inexpensive. The residents need salad, clean protein and fresh vegetables. Canned veggies, sandwiches hotdogs and sugar drinks are not healthy. They need fresh crisp salad's at least 1x per day. Spinach, clean grilled chicken,fresh ripe fruit. They are in process of updating their wi-fi service and speed that's going to be great for smart TV's!

I visit Pacifica frequently and I am welcomed with such unique employees. Residents look happy and presentable. Food needs some improvement, I’ll be very honest. Med techs are great employees and housekeeping is on it. Overall I would rate Palm Springs five star and recommend to others seeking assisted living. It’s a feel good's spot. I will not identify myself on the review as I wish to remain anonymous. Thank you.

Very helpful through the whole process

I was very impressed with the facility, the sales director, and the staff members I encountered during the tour. The longevity of the staff (from the director, LPN, maintenance) speaks volumes. Clean. Friendly.

Everyone is very friendly and helpful. If my husband and I need anything, we just need to ask.

My experience was very informational. All my questions were answered and [name removed] was very nice and I really like the one-on-one personal attention.

The sales director was very helpful in helping us find the apartment that would be the best fit for my parents. The staff have been very friendly and welcoming. Both housekeeping and caregivers are currently understaffed. Common areas are kept clean. Could use more washers and dryers in resident laundry room. Weekly visits by housekeeping to private residents' areas has been intermittent. The response time to resident calling for assistance needs improvement. The facility has had a recent management change and they are in the process of hiring more help. Communication has been fair. Could improve on follow up communication. The move in process went well; however it has taken some time to get internet and phone issues set. The meals are presented very nicely and are of good quality. There is a variety on the menu. Most items are very good. I would recommend this facility to others. I believe that the staff available are doing the best they can to make this a pleasant and comfortable living situation for the residents.

My grandpa loves playing pool & activities. The game room is perfect for him when he can’t sleep, he spends time with other residents that love playing pool in the evenings. The activity schedule is always packed with options to choose from which he enjoys!

Great - I was given brochure of names, calendar of activities, & menu. Services were explained & I was given a tour of the facility & shown a 1 BR & studio. Very nice!

My experience has been extremely varied, the staff at the front desk and rest of staff , it could be a little difficult for people to understand me because I have macular degeneration. I love going to the activities and outings that they provide us here .

I think the staff is thorough and very friendly. My Dad told his doctor just the other day "the people that work there are very nice." They keep his room clean and do a great job with the laundry. Dad is enjoying the food, as well.

I have been almost a year so far it was been a great experience. I use the gym on a weekly basis , I also like to play pool once a week with another resident. Staff is very friendly and nice , they take very good care of my wife on the memory care . The executive director does a really good job with the community.

We couldn’t be happier with Pacifica Palm Springs. It does not feel like a stuffy convalescent type of home. The grounds are park like, the pods are one floor and the vibe is light and airy. The staff always have smiles on their faces has treat their community with kindness and respect. We don’t have enough good things to say. My mom stays active all day. Between exercise, games and outings she couldn’t be more happier.
