They are very clean, and they have been friendly that I have observed. They also do a very good job with activities. They are a little slow to respond to an alert button from time to time. They are pretty good about responding to my requests. They do an assessment before they are admitted and then again in 30 days, and I would like that to be more of an ongoing discussion, rather than waiting a couple of weeks, as it seems things can change quickly.

Tracy. All single story. They do not take dimentia patients, $4370 month includes food, laundry and housekeeping. Have 12-14 apts per bldg. This is a part of a larger community they can participate in. 154 units total (27 in assisted care). Includes cable TV. Help with bathing, laundry and dressing. Have various activities and excercise classes. not sure of sq ft but fits double bed, 2 recliners, dresser and TV.

One bedroom unit not bad. Dining room looked ok. Too many people just sitting around in the small lobby. They do have transportation to doctors and other locations, even for wheel chair bound. Everyone gets a call pendant around their neck. There is an initial buy in in order to live at this facility.

Mom wrapped up her first week. She is adjusting nicely and both staff and other residents have been welcoming and helpful. She is enjoying the activities and finds the food to be prepared well and a good variety. The laundry and housekeeping services were excellent. We have already recommended the facility to a friend for his mother.

I’m satisfied with the care services. It’s very clean. I guess it goes back to the value rating – in the whole San Diego county area it’s one of the best values for someone who needs assisted living. The food is okay, some it could be better. I haven’t had any issues with parking or the laundry services.

My dad has been in for less than 2 weeks. So far, he has done well. However, he is now in the hospital with pneumonia. I am hoping he will return to Victoria Ct soon. The staff is pleasant, he seems to like the food, his room is nice. There are many activities to keep him busy and active.

All the things I rated were excellent. The only thing lacking is the continuity between caregivers between shift to shift to shift. You can tell one caregiver something and it doesn’t get passed on to the next shift. They are working with me to get this worked out. It has shown improvement. If I knew what I know today when I made the choice to place my dad here, I’d still place him here. The food is okay. I’ve had the food several times.

They weren’t very honest with my initial questions. I really needed a place when I got out of the hospital. The food could be better. They have an outside area. It’s close to public transportation which is a five for me.

pet friendly suggested mom be in assisted living

They were clean and friendly, but this just wasn't the right fit for our loved one. I felt like there wasn't enough staff for our loved one's needs. I think if they had done their own assessment they would have known this wasn't going to work. They are for more independent people. They had some really nice entertainment, and really nice caregivers. They would have a couple come in and sing songs. This was a unique situation, but they kept her mostly drugged on her medication, and she was just asleep all the time.

Grounds beautiful, wonderful for people that like the outdoors small pond turtles and ducks. The craft area needs supplies. Rooms small, few options for 1 bedroom apartments for assisted living. Porches only for independent living. Staff friendly, smiles everywhere. Warm and welcoming. Menu selection more than adequate, resident can request simple special requests ie grilled cheese. They have outings that residents can sign up for, welcoming to family participation. While there did not observe any activities in progress. Major reconstruction at present, porch walls need replacing. Carpets in the process of a much needed update. Walls in halls presently being repainted. Staff ratio appears to be adequate. Clean no odors while I was present, this was at 2PM on a Tuesday.

Very nice, staff friendly, qualified

Dad only lasted one month in Memory Care ward at Pacifica from the hospital. Our review will only be for that transitional period, which is the most difficult. Staff was really great and helpful. Sometimes took a while for them to respond to the room's cord pull. That was my only concern. Worked with kitchen staff to arrange more healthful meals. Caring employees and willing to do what we requested. They worked very hard to accomodate our worries and concerns. Best attribute - the staff!

Mom-in-law has been at MVV just over a month, but staff all know her name already. Friendly, clean, well-laid out. Lots of activities to choose from. She is "content" as she tells her friends.

Nice accommodations, but it's a long distance from Carol's home. Outdoors areas and views not appealing, gardens are minimal.

So far they have been good at staying involved with details and making Mom feel at home.

seemed very lovely but too big for my loved one to navigate - ladies room could have been cleaner (only drawback I saw)
