Pacifica Senior Living

The community is going through some renovations so we do not feel comfortable giving that a rating, but our loved ones room has always been clean. They had redesigned the dining room and from what we can see it looks like the residents are well taken care of there during meal times. They also have scheduled activities, we have seen different events and different live entertainers.

This is a very warm and friendly community. There is good care, good food and my mom is safe and happy. My loved one does not participate in activities but they do have a lot of different activities for the residents to participate in.

I would recommend this community to anyone. The staff are very competent and friendly with the residents.

We had a good tour with Atria Daly City, but we felt the quality of the facility was not quite as good as a couple of others we were looking into.

[Name removed], the community relations director, was patient, personable, and really wanted me to make sure I have my questions answered/'be able to ask all questions I may have. The tour was nice and she was knowledgeable. She is willing to follow up with me in a week. I enjoyed hearing her stories too, plus her advice. The facility has various activities to cheer up residents and entertain them. They have an amazing courtyard!

[Name removed] gave me a very complete tour of the facility. She explained all details and answered all my questions. Very pleased with tour. Good facility.

Our family had an in person tour and this community had a real possibility but at the time our loved one was just not ready to move.

There did not seem to be anything wrong with the meals, our loved one was difficult at times and would say they were awful, but she also ate every single meal. We also had meals ourselves and they were good. We were able to observe some musical live entertainment and it was a little loud but overall nice. They also had other daily activities for the residents. We do wish they would be more open to family suggestion.

Been living here since it became Pacifica and have loved it ever since.

The tour we had with Pacifica Senior Living was good. They do have separate cottages and I did not think my mom would be apt to get out and do things if she had to walk outside to go place to place. It was also more expensive than what we were looking for.

We had a good tour and staff were friendly, but we were not the biggest fans of the atmosphere. It did not have the feeling that we were looking for when you walk in.

Hard to isolate any individual for above and beyond service as entire staff qualify. Mom has been a resident since [date removed] and needs the top level of care provided. We consider this place over home and everyone is professional, caring, kind and helpful.

[name removed] has been very helpful in transitioning my parents to Kenmore Senior Living. She hit if off with my dad and helped ease his mind for this big change. The facility is undergoing updates but this is a clean, friendly environment.

We chose Pacifica Senior Living Green Valley because I like the cottage arrangement, there are 12 residents per cottage and 2 caregivers that are on duty at all times. They do also allow smoking here which was something that was important for my mom. I really like her room and the people that I have met as well. They do offer assisted living, transitional memory care, and memory care. She really enjoys it here and I think it has been a good fit for her in the transitional memory care. There is a lady that volunteers and does the residents hair every couple of weeks. They have a lot of activities provided for the residents and the activities director has been awesome. After my mother moved in, she had jewelry that was stolen from her so that was very disappointing and upsetting to us. I really like the facility and they take great care of her, but I would just tell others if your loved one moves in make sure to take anything valuable home with you.

I've been impressed by the staff's genuine level of caring about the residents beyond the specific tasks at hand. The level of effort they demonstrate for the families as well has been excellent. The response from the executive director to even minor inquiries has been outstanding. And the food is excellent as well.

Caregivers are nice and always there if you need them.

Our virtual tour at Meridian at Westwood was fine. I liked the place, and I thought the staff did a good job. They were available for any questions.

We have excellent activities

My parents haven't been at The Meridian for too long, but they seem to enjoy it there, and have found the staff and care staff to be very kind. The building is old, but lovely, and is being renovated. We toured quite a few places, and this one seemed to fit their needs best.
