Our family cannot say enough about the wonderful care my sister has received over the last 4 years. She has dimentia and is in the "secured" Fir cottage. The staff has ALWAYS been very caring and in good spirits, some have been with her for the entire time, which adds to her familarity and security. The management staff has alwasy been available for questions and assistance.

Under the expert supervision of [name removed] there is a team that really cares and often goes way beyond that which is required. They are: [name removed], [name removed], [name removed]. Backing up this great crew providing fresh linens are [name removed] and [name removed].

I am the guardian of a 92 year old woman who 5-6 years ago was an incredibly involved woman. She was involved in animal rights, a couple of lunch groups, books clubs; a very busy person. In the last 5-6 years, she had taken to her bed. The only times she would leave her bed was to eat and go to the bathroom. Caregivers were with her 24 hours a day, every day. The daytime women had to read to her all the time. Her mind was failing as well. The time came this year when her safety from night walking was becoming an issue. I looked at a couple of facilities with Memory Care units and decided on Pacifica Heritage Hills. The Memory Care unit has around 20 residents and enough staff so that there is almost individual care. The days are structured with a lot of activities such as, music, exercise, outings, theme days. The apartments are either 1 or 2 rooms and can certainly be made home-like. Each apartment has a shadow box that showcases that resident. The food is good; there are a couple of choices each meal. Staff is very caring and treats the residents with the dignity they deserve. All doors are locked except the one to the outdoor garden. Safety is of primary concern.

Just another great visit with pops today. The place is so clean smells good the staff are so inviting. My dad looks great he likes it there and most import he is getting the much needed care he deserves. I have been here for about 5 months and have found all staff most helpful, accommodating, & knowledgable in all capacities . Happy to say I have no complaints!

I put my mother in Pacifica in the fall, She has improved Enormously! She is up, using a walker, going to activities, eating and happy. Prior to going to Pacifica, she was barely walking, home bound, barely eating and unhappy with life, Her life is so much better then I ever imagined it would be. Everyone who sees her is amazed by the improvement. I know there would be activities at Pacific, but they are so many more then I knew. Everyday the residents are given a schedule of activities they can participate in, if they choose- exercise classes, learning classes, bus trips, bingo, happy hours, manicures, massages, movie nights, and more. The pricing is extremely reasonable compared to over facilities. It is a wonderful!!! I highly recommend Pacifica, Senior Living Vista. Wonderful director, nurses, and staff.

A Place for Mom helped me find a wonderful home for my mother in just over a week. My father passed away rather suddenly and the idea of mom being home alone all day every day was a worry. But not for long. She is now very happy at Pacifica's Courtyard, thanks to A Place for Mom's help. She has made friends who have similar life stories and has the safety of loving care givers.

Moving my 93 year old aunt to assisted living was long overdue - she didn't want to live with "old people" and felt she was far more capable of living along than she really was. She had someone with her 10-4 on weekdays and more limited hours on the weekend but things came to a head when she started calling me over 50x per day "looking at the walls" in her apartment. Despite her protests, I helped her relocate to Atria Meridian. Her initial transition was quite challenging but I was amazed at how supportive the Atria Staff was - not just management but the daily care staff. I was in NY so managing the transition was difficult especially with my aunt occasionally calling "911" when she intended to call my "917" area code. The staff (and the in-house medical staff) was constantly open, warm, receptive and responsive. When I visited, I saw the activities in progress (despite my aunt having told me "they never do anything." Wine mixers (with diluted drinks), entertainers, community visitors, BINGO - a wide array of activities. And if she just wanted to sit, there's ALWAYS a group of residents either out front or in the beautiful lounge. And the physical building itself is like a really nice looking hotel. Upkeep is great and everything smells fresh. The place is really pretty and if I can share one example of how supportive the staff is; the dining room has three full meals a day with waiter/waitress service and a full menu. When my Aunt comes in to the dining room (which she calls the restaurant) they know she likes a Coke and there is always a Coke waiting for her when she sits down. Best move we ever made and...... we should have made it years ago when she would have been able to take care advantage of more of the benefits.

Such a beautiful facility.

As an outside provide of hospice services I have experienced good communication with staff and families. They have conscientious medication technicians which is very important.

The building small and quaint. It is easy to navigate. The staff is very friendly and professional. Feel like a little hotel. Residents are open and friendly.

Initially my parents moved into a lovely apartment at Pacifica. After a few years they transitioned to assisted living. My mother immediately entered into Hospice care and passed away a few months later in a sunny room she had come to call home. We were greatly supported during this time by the very caring staff that held space for end-of-life care. I cannot recount the many loving kindnesses that came her way. At the same time, my father returned from a stay in skilled nursing, and it was determined by his new physician that he was experiencing severe side effects from a medication that had been prescribed several years earlier. These symptoms included confusion, aggression, and falls. Again the staff at Pacifica, and in particular Nursing Director [name removed], helped as he withdrew from the medication, coped with my mother's passing, and became more clear, less agitated and more stable on his feet. He now lives quietly in the same large, sunny room from which my mother passed. Needless to say, the ongoing warmth and compassion from all those I have interacted with at Pacifica has helped me cope as well. I am eternally grateful that my parents made the choice to move to Pacifica with full knowing that it would be their last home.

My loved one has been cared for about 3 months. I visit there almost every day, and find that she is happy and loves all the caregivers and other residents. Her care is warm and compassionate. Her room is kept clean and tidy. I have sat in on some of the meals which I really enjoyed. It's fun to sit with the residents, and share a meal. The food is presented nicely and is delicious and nutritious. Personal attentiveness to the residents is always considerate and compassionate. The grounds are beautiful, very neatly kept, and conducive to the residents enjoying the outdoors. Many like to go for walks along the paths and sit in the gazebos. They have lots of activities and, outside entertainment that is very much enjoyed by everyone. All around, it's a great place.

My mother is here currently and things seem to be going well. She likes it. She’s told me that the staff is very responsive and she is finding that she’s getting more help here than she was in a previous place. The food is pretty good and the options seem to vary quite a bit. They’re pretty flexible with special order stuff, too. Everything is being kept clean, the common stations are all good, but I think the only thing that she’s had an issue with is the fact that the other residents have pets and sometimes you can smell them in the hallway. But I think it’s clean overall. They have daily activities that they provide like presentations on different subjects, they had a Halloween party, happy hours, games, movies, and video games like a modern bingo equivalent. There is a base price that we pay for the room that she has, but there are different prices based on different levels of care. She’s really happy with everything and overall, I would recommend them.
