We chose Pacifica Senior because of [names removed]. We were made to feel safe and we connected. The best there. I feel that Pacifica Oakland Heights is a tremendous place.

My friend is very happy there. It is nice and clean and everyone is friendly and kind. The food is wonderful. She raves about her apartment being just wonderful. I found the community on line and it looked so wonderful. My friend's grandson went to visit and said that he was impressed with the cleanliness and is felt like a safe and happy place for her to live.

Very nice facility. Staff is very professional and residents' needs are all addressed promptly and properly.

Good nice employees and very communicative with everybody.

I loved the virtual tour dimetris. I'm so excited to see your community from home but even more excited to move in soon.

I just want to make a note of how safe I feel having my mother here. They're being taken care of by such a loving and wonderful staff. I can relax knowing she's well taken care of, the staff has been fantastic.

My name is [name removed] and my parents currently live in the Pacifica Vista living facility. I would like to take a moment to say thank you to all staff at this facility during this trying time. I am sure this has been very difficult and I really appreciate all the steps they have taken to assure my parents and other residents are safe during this covid breakout. I especially would like to recognize the director [name removed] and the receptionist [name removed] at this facility. They always do such a remarkable job and always try to accommodate my every request in any way that they can. [Name removed] has always told me if I need anything, she is just a phone call away and provided me with her cell number to call or text her at any time. She always responds to me right away and has addressed all of my concerns almost immediately. [Name removed] really knows her job and in addition to that is just a all around wonderful person. There are some things you can teach but there are other things that you can't teach and that is the "IT" factor that [name removed] has on a daily basis. [Name removed] is always so pleasant and very quick at responding to my needs. She is so caring and expresses concern. I don't think she realizes how refreshed I feel when she answers the phone because I know that all my request will be taken care of. She NEVER forgets anything that I have requested and is such a friendly person to all of my family. There is power in kindness and both of these women always bring their own sunshine to work every day. In short, I appreciate you [name removed] and [name removed]. Thank you for all you do. I am writing to express my deep appreciation for your exceptional employee, [name removed], who consistently goes above and beyond in working with my dad, [name removed]. I am a retired RN and I live in Washington State, so my ability to visit with him in person is limited. On the days that [name removed] works with my dad, she consitently provides him with the respectful and gentle care that he responds so well to. I met [name removed] shortly after he moved in Pacifica. On that visit , I was impressed with her kind and caring ways and her genuine interest in understanding more about my dad. Since my dad arrived to your facility, he has become increasingly less verbal, so phone conversations with him have been somewhat challenging. On some of the days that [name removed] works with my him, she communicates with me to let know how he is doing, either through a text message or on the phone. She is also willing to take the time to set up her mobile phone so that I can FaceTime with my dad. He responds beautifully to this method of communication. When he sees my face, he lights up and he will engage with me. I treasure singing songs with him in his native language, French. I can show him pictures of family members and even put his brother, who lives in Washington, on the phone. They are able to see each other and converse in French. This means the world to my uncle. I last visited in February and was planning to visit again in March, but the Covid-19 virus necessitated our current stay at home order. I hope to visit him again, whenever it is deemed safe and the quarantine is lifted. I the meantime, I am grateful for the beautiful care he receives at Pacifica from your professional staff. And I remain immensely grateful that [name removed] works with him and offers him the personal care and understanding that helps him to thrive to the best of his ability.

My mother [name removed] has been a resident of Pacifica. Our family could not be happier with her very attentive and compassionate care. From the front desk, nurses, med techs, caregivers, dining room staff, maintenance workers and housekeeping ~ all are very dedicated hard working as well as very personable and efficient. There are far too many individuals to point out specifically, so suffice to say that the entire staff is dedicated and compassionate. Knowing our mother is getting such great care, we are put at ease. Especially now with the Covid-19 crisis, it is quite apparent they are taking a very serious approach to making sure all residents are safe and protected. The quality of care and upkeep of the facility and apartments is stellar compared to other facilities our mother has resided in. Thanks to [name removed] the Executive Director who personally answers questions immediately and takes action. Her staff respects her and she takes a personal interest in each resident as well as their family. Should you need any additional information or input, please do not hesitate to ask. Although the quarantine has been difficult, we have had complete peace and confidence knowing she is being completely taken care of and protected. When I chose Pacifica Vista ten months ago as the residence that would best serve my mom's needs, I did so because I was impressed with the staff. I'm so happy I made that choice. Sadly, under the current conditions for sheltering in place,my mom's physical and mental state and deteriorated but your staff has done a wonderful job of meeting her needs with such compassion even with the increased demands of their jobs brought on by COVID-19 conditions. I love the plan that you have implemented to have staff members visit the rooms of the residents and chat with them. I'm so grateful for the times that you and [name removed] have come to my mom's room, visited with her and shared your cell phones with her so that she and I could Facetime.This is the first time Mom has ever lived separately from family. Now that I can't visit, it has been a blessing that we have had the opportunity to see each other face-to-face by phone. Mom has always has a special bond with [name removed] who has been very kind to my mom, stopping by her room to visit and encourage Mom to attend activities. Mom talks about her regularly in our phone conversations. I am grateful to [name removed] and [name removed], head nursing staff, who initiate calls to me to keep me informed about how my mom is doing. They have both been helpful and responsive in coordinating and resolving issues related to medications, outside doctors' appointments and change in Mom's condition. [Name removed] has also be pivotal in helping to resolve problems quickly. I also love and admire [name removed] and [name removed] at the front desk. [Name removed]'s cheerful smile and enthusiastic greeting always makes me feel like she and I are old friends. She, also, goes above and beyond to solve any problem or request, even when it demands more of her time in a job that can be very hectic. [Name removed]'s peaceful, yet efficient demeanor is always so This has been a heartbreaking time for me as I watch my mom's decline and cannot be with her. I am so blessed to know that the people I have entrusted with her care are such competent, kind people who their work as a calling and not just as a job. Thank you, [name removed], for all you have done for my mom and all the residents of Pacifica Vista, particularly at this difficult time.

The activities are nice and gives us something to do. I use the van or bus for church outings and very happy that I am able to go out on Sundays. Painting class is always fun to do because I love to paint. I also enjoy sitting in the lobby. I like to meet people and talk to them. Activity department brings in good entertainment enjoy the singers very much.

Pacifica is a home away from home! The staff is what separates this community from the competition! Not only do they treat the residents like family, but they also treat their family as their own. If you want your loved one to feel at home, this is the place to be!

I like this place. I enjoy the food and like the friendly staff. I have lived here for 5 years. It is clean and smells nice.
