Pacifica at Paradise Valley is a very caring and capable facility combining memory care with the other essentials that come with senior living.

This is a great community and my dad loves living here. They take great care of him and even during this trying time they make sure the residents are safe and cared for.

The cottages are so cut with a home touch of love. The individualized care is amazing. Secure safe walking path and adorable courtyard. Amazing management and staff.

I am so lucky to have found Pacifica for my mother. I had looked at a few places and was very disappointed in what they offered for my mom's care. Then I walked into Pacifica Memory Care and I was enchanted by everything they showed me. I knew this was the perfect fit for mom. She loves the big porches, trees, walkways and garden setting. It has been 2 years now and we both love the staff, they treat mom with great care, the food is very good, my mom and I love going on their special field trips and we love the once a month family dinners.

We put my mother in Pacifica [date removed]. Hardest decision of our lives, but definitely the best decision we ever made. She really has blossomed since being there. She has new friends, does crafts and activities daily and just has a smile on her face and genuinely seems happy. [Name removed] the activities director is amazing and keeps the residents on their toes with fun each day.

I have a dear friend at Pacifica and I am also her POA. She has been a resident almost four years. The dedication to each and every resident is astounding. Administration, care staff and ancillary staff are helpful, professional, and truly caring. Residents' physical needs, as well as emotional and social needs are met and tailored to each individual resident. Residents live in a home like atmosphere and are offered many different activities. This facility is beyond excellent. I would highly recommend Pacifica to both family and friends who are in need of a top notch memory care facility.

The staff is very compassionate and caring with the residents and their families. The meals are very good. There are many activities and outings to keep everyone busy. I would recommend, Somerford, you will be pleasantly surprised.

It gave me peace of mind to know his needs were being attended to and everyone was lovingly prepared to help him when he struggled.

My family had a really hard time coming to terms with moving my mom from her home. She still believed that she was able to care for herself, but she could not. We looked at many communities, what we like about Somerford Place of Northridge is that she does not have to be in the memory care with all the people that have really advanced dementia. She still feels independent but we know that she is being helped when she needs help. She is loving all the interaction with others, that was something that she missed living at home alone. Also everyone sincerely cares.

The staff is considerate, caring and attentive to our needs. We have several menu choices. The food is delicious. There are several daily activities. We go on at least two outings each week. I am grateful that Somerford is my home, and would recommend this community for your family member.

I was on the east coast when we had to move my godmother to Pacifica from another community. Everyone was on-board to make the easiest transition possible, even referring and helping to coordinate the move/movers. They're always accommodating, patient and easy to reach. It was a long road and they made us feel safe in our choices. Top notch care and the BEST staff, from the top down, hands down!

We've been very happy with the wonderful care my mom has received at Pacifica Northridge! Her caregivers are attentive and kind, she has a lovely apartment and the whole place is friendly and warm.

I was concerned about moving Mom out of her home of 40 years, but she needed more help than I could provide after a hospital stay for a broken hip. From the first meeting with the staff to today a year later, I knew I made the best choice. The monthly rate is NOT overinflated like some places I'd seen, in fact it is the best value I've found. - and they are honest, helpful and open about everything. EVERYONE has been wonderful! Mom is happy, she's eating (a small fete in itself) and the food is delicious. With the activities (OH MY GOODNESS THE ACTIVITIES!), the exercise classes and the other residents, Mom is thriving! The cleanliness, the welcoming and super friendly staff, how they care for her and how Mom has made an amazing recovery and is SO HAPPY, has made my world a lot brighter too. I LOVE Atria, best of all - so does Mom.

The staff at Atria Encinitas is superb! All are friendly and caring and do whatever it takes to meet residents needs and make the best out of our current situation with the pandemic especially.

Before the shutdown, when we were able to visit our mom in person, I was always impressed that the staff knew my mom's preferences, both for meals and activities. Once the pandemic changed everything, I noticed that the Encinitas staff was very busy making it fun for the residents, even though they were stuck inside. The videos and photos on Facebook show how much effort the staff is putting in to create joy and excitement. More importantly, they are doing a great job at preventing boredom and the mental decline that goes with it. The dancing, special theme days, door to door surprises and willingness to help our mom use social media so she can interact with various family members is really heartwarming. What may seem like a silly dress-up activity may actually be saving lives, as research has shown that mental and physical stimulation, plus human interaction can prevent a rapid and irreversible decline.

My mother has been a resident at Atria for around 6 months and we are as happy with her new surroundings as she is. The home is very clean and well maintained, a very personable size that facilitates a welcome feeling. The staff and in particular, [name removed], have been exceptionally and consistently helpful and really are an asset to the facility as well as our experience. There is a good level of communication and [name removed] and the staff are very responsive - they clearly take professional pride in providing a well-rounded home for the residents.

Under the very difficult circumstances of the Covid pandemic, this staff has done an amazing job of taking care of the residents. It has not been easy but they really have gone the extra mile. The care and concern is real.

We toured many facilities before deciding on Atria Encinitas. Most facilities offer similar amenities so for us It was the staff that made the difference! The chef and kitchen staff, [name removed], the Activities Director, [name removed] the driver, [name removed] the Nurse and the medical team, [name removed] the entertainer/educator, [name removed] the handyman, the front desk staff and the whole management team go out of their way to get to know our mom; her likes and dislikes - and keep us fully updated on her status and care needs. They even help oversee her dog! Atria must be taking very good care of its team - our mom has been here for two years and it’s the same care team as when she moved in. Some team members have been there for over 20 years! I can’t say enough good things about Atria and its staff - it’s become a very comfortable and safe home for our mom which makes us very happy!

As it became apparent my father needed a little extra assistance with care, I researched and toured many facilities ranging from private residences to assisted living facilities. After touring Atria and meeting the staff, I had a good feeling that this was the right place for my dad. I brought him along one day for a visit and to meet some of the staff. He agreed, this was the right fit! After moving in, he felt very welcome by the clean and comforting surroundings and enthusiasm by the caregivers. I feel good knowing my dad is in a safe environment, enjoys nutritious meals (especially the deserts!), and has daily interaction with others. The activities director does a fabulous job helping the residents become engaged with one another and comes up with some pretty clever and creative ways to bring a smile to everyone's faces.
