My mom is happy here with the care that she is receiving. The staff is caring and friendly. The food is good and a nice variety of choices. They do offer good activities for everyone. Highly recommended for good care for loved ones.

My mom really likes it there. She is more active and eats healthier. Since moving in since August, her heart meds have been halved. The nurses keep in contact, the support staff is incredible, and my mom loves the food. You can tell the staff cares about their senior citizens. I have been bringing high school students their for 2 years and the staff turnover is low.

Everything has worked out very well for my aunt here at this community. They are taking good care of her and her needs. The staff is great, I know she is in good hands here. They do a good job keeping the community nice and clean. There are activities available for her when she is ready to participate. I've tired some of the meals and the food is good. I know she is safe and being cared for well here. Overall this is a place I would recommend.

My husband is doing well here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. He is enjoying the food. The community is clean and he is happy with the activities. I would recommend this community.

This is an excellent community, everything has worked out very well for my mother here. They do a great job with the cleanliness, it is a well maintained community. The staff is excellent, they have been great to work with. They offer wonderful activities for the residents. She is pleased with the meals, the food is nice. She is being cared for well here. I know she is in good hands, this is a community I would recommend.

My mom is doing great since moving in to the Brookdale Tulsa South. It is very welcoming and is a smaller community. Her ideal room was available when she was ready to move in. My mom is very satisfied with the care the staff have been providing. They have been very friendly and easy to work with.

We looked at about 15 places. Because mom has arthritis as well as Alzheimers she needed a place where the rooms were close to the main gathering area for meals and activities. No long halls to walk down. Oxford Glen had the very best physical design we saw. The rooms are very close. Most open out to the main room of their house. The décor was excellent. The food service is very good. And the personnel from the manager to the caregiver is great. Every single person presented an attitude of how can we help and we know this is not easy for you. But, don't worry,we will make this work. Plus the staffing ratio is the best we found. They have the full package of services and very helpful in every aspect of the process. We recommend them without reservation. Our experience is with the location in Grand Prairie Tx.

I'am confident knowing my mother is safe and in good hands. Now that we are through the adjustment period, she is doing very well. This is a very well maintained community, they do a very good job with keeping her room and the facility nice and clean. They have an excellent staff, I'am very impressed with how they go above and beyond. There are many activities for her to try, and the staff is very good at encouraging her to participate. The food is fair, they different cooks, so it really depends on who is cooking. They are caring for her well and I would recommend this facility.

Mom has been there since the first of December and blended in instantly. From the moment we walked in the door Mom was amazed by the place. She was able to socialize with some of the residents prior to moving in and ended up making the decision on her own. Since moving in she has been the most relaxed she's ever been in her whole life which definitely gives me a peace of mind since Mom has always been so high strung. She participates in many activities and I volunteer there so I see her often. I do the residents nails every Wednesday and volunteer for other things as well. Mom loves the food and the staff have been great ! Oxford Glen has provided the best experience we could have asked for in this situation and I couldn't be more impressed!

GREAT, POSITIVE PEOPLE AT THIS FACILITY. ALWAYS ATTENTIVE. CLEAN, BRIGHT AND CHEERFUL ATMOSPHERE. THEY TAKE THE WORRY OUT OF MY DAY TO DAY LIFE. KNOWING MY MOM HAS BEEN PLACED IN SUCH A GREAT FACILITY.

I moved my wife to a memory care unit at Tulsa Assisted Living and Memory October 13, 2015 due to problems we were experiencing at another facility she was at for over two years. I wish I had made the change a long time ago. I cannot begin to describe the positive difference. She gets an abundance of personal attention and many activities are provided. The maximum occupancy is 18 which is a hugh positive. Things you should know: 1) The facility is less than one mile from the 193rd E. Ave and I-44 exit. It sounds far, but is easy to drive and get to. It is worth any extra mileage you might drive. 2) You will need to furnish the apartment. Note: Apartments come with a small refrigerator, an individual heating and airconditioning unit, basic cable, and the bathroom has a shower with a heatlamp in it! All units are single occupancy. 3) This is not an 'end of life' facility unless the 'end of life' comes quickly. This is actually a very big positive as many memory care facilities take residents that should be in nursing type facilities which causes turmoil and requires more staff to handle which is almost never provided in an assisted living licensed facility. The result is inferior care. This was a hugh problem in the previous facility my wife was in and was one of the main reasons for moving her. 4) The memory unit has the usually challenges associated with these type of facilities as regards staff turnover and staffing 24/7. I have personal knowledge of 3 other facilities and Tulsa Assisted Living and Memory does an excellent job; by far the best of those I have personal knowledge of. At this point in time I can say without reservation that you will be hand pressed to find a better facility for your loved one including those that command a high fee for their services.

At Oxford Glen the only thing that needs improving is the food. My brother has dementia and he can only eat certain foods. I wish the staff would tailor more to his needs. The staff members are very friendly here. They are always willing to help. I couldn't ask for anything better really.

Canoe Brook Assisted Living and Alzheimers is a very nice facility. They made it very easy and made my father feel very welcome. The room was all clean and ready for him to move in and the staff was all very helpful

Everyone at Sterling House of Tulsa South (now Brookdale) made the transition as easy as possible. We were very scared and apprehensive, and they really put us at ease and were just as compassionate as can be. They really helped alleviate the stress and make it a smooth transition.

I have had a great experience. My mom is very happy and I think she is getting excellent care. The only thing I might improve on is that on the weekends they have a little bit less staff. Other than that it has been wonderful.

My father is currently living at Oxford Glen in Sachse. We moved him from an Assisted Living where he wasn't thriving and left into his room. He has bounced back w/ a desire to get up and go. We love the staff for giving life back to him. This community is amazing we love all the prevention in place to prevent falls. Thank you Oxford Glen!! -Charles Clark-

After searching and giving up on any good care, we decided to stop in and tour a new company in Sachse that only provide care for memory care named Oxford Glen, they are providing new techniques and 24/7 nursing that we needed for our long term insurance to pay. We have moved our mother into this beautiful building, staff is compassion and know how to work especially with memory care. I am driving extra miles out of my way, worth it to sleep at night. It's only 8 miles from Plano. It's the best kept secret.

Beautiful building. Staff really does love and care for my love one. Everyone is so nice and loving. High Technology in place. The best Life Enrichment and Nursing staff around in Memory Care. You need to stop by and see Oxford Glen. This is the place you will want your love one to be.

Beautiful building inside and out. The Staff is wonderful and you can see they really love your loved one. They care about them. The activities group really engages with the residents. The nursing staff is so wonderful as well as the C NA's really do an A plus job caring for your loved one.\\r\\nIf you need a place for your loved one Oxford Glen is the place.

It's a fabulous place, they have taken really great care of my mom. She has adjusted well. She has made the comment that the food is good. I haven't had any concerns, they have worked really well with her. They are very sensitive about preserving their dignity, while still providing assistance.
