this place was wonderful, but I don't think she has enough money to be able to live there.

A great assisted living with a beautiful new building. Many of the staff have been there forever and seem to take great pride in their work.

Our experience with Westminster-Thurber has been a very good one! The staff here really is fantastic!. They're friendly, welcoming, and provide excellent service and care to the residents. They even do a great job with the food! My only concern is that while they have recently constructed a new building, I think the old building could use a little attention and some renovations as well.

Facility is well run, quite beautiful. Feel fortunate to have my mother there. Room is wonderful, quite large. Reasonable amount of privacy. Nursing, physician care is competent with good communication. The billing folks are another matter. Extremely unresponsive to billing issues/questions, including the corporate staff.

It was a beautiful room and the facility was always nice and clean. [name removed] was well taken care of however as with any long term care facility there are always those that might struggle at doing their job without attitude. Truly the majority of the staff we met were excellent. Meals were fine also something that is to be expected that it's not Michelin star rated certainly but good enough. Overall if we had to chose to do redo this we certainly wouldn't hesitate to chose the same facility!

It's a friendly environment, and my mom has made a number of friends. She participates in some activities and skips others. I would say that the most disappointing thing is the food. Frequently cold, and apparently, the food is somewhat bland. From what my mother has shared with me, there's a lot of turnover with the kitchen staff. The food service industry has really been hurt post 2020. Unfortunately, the elderly who live in these types of places (independent, assisted, nursing, etc) simply have to deal with the short end of the stick. Essentially, facilities such as Llanfair are unable to staff with quality employees due to the competitive work environment.

My brother [name removed] was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease almost 2years ago now. We (his family) are spread out across the country, but, as the and the one sibling located in his home town, and he lived with my husband and I for about 1 1/2 years, our siblings took turns hosting him for a few months. When we realized none of us was capable of giving the help he needs, we got him an “apartment” at Rockynol. The change in my brother has been extraordinary! He isn’t in Memory Care yet, but in Assisted Living, and it’s hard to even recognize him from the person who started there 4 or 5 (?) months ago! He has made friends of everyone there, (he’d always been a charmer) walks the grounds & eats his meals with a group of guys, some quite a bit older, goes to events scheduled there, and while they recognize that there is “something” not right, people there and out don’t even recognize it as AD. At this point, I cannot say enough good things about Rockynol. (The N/A is I don’t know)

The staff were wonderful and helpful. The facility is beautiful and set up like family households. The activities were excellent and fun. They incorporate family in most of the activities. They have church services. The menus could be improved with a better balance with vegetables and fewer carbs.

The staff is always courteous and friendly and eager to help. From the day I moved in I felt very much at home and comfortable . Residents are also very friendly.

Friendly and very helpful staff members. Meals need to have less sodium, less fried. Not very many good heart healthy options.

Would recommend. They have shown compassion, good coordination and care

This is such a beautiful place and the other residents made me feel so welcome. We pay way too much for incredible food. After being here less than 1 month, my expenses went up 8.6%.

After knee replacement, I brought my wife to Cape May rehab for 3 nights. Overall all staff were just great. It was a real piece of mind to make this transition with everyone's help. I heard of just a few problems, but staff made note of these to correct them.

Overall I am very satisfied with my apartment, cleaning services, meals are much improved and staff is friendly, and very good. I think the servers work very hard, especially, when they are short of help.

When it became obvious that I could no remain in my home, I chose Cape May Independent Living. It involved a 400 mile move to be with family. Cape May provided the things I needed. I'll mention a few: safe place to live, maintenance, snow removal, 2 meals/day, some housekeeping and there are others, I feel lucky to be here.

Cape May is slowly recovering after Covid shutdown- I live in a villa, so I am not receiving medical or help from staff other than routine maintenance of villa- We are short staffed with NO DINING for villa residents - Activities have begun again.

All services have been very satisfactory. Food is sometimes very good- sometimes not. Dining rooms needs to be warmer.

With no family in town, I needed to plan how I would meet the needs of my aging years. Rockynol meets those needs: a nice apartment, an attractive environment, safety, transportation when I can no longer drive, food cleaning activities, etc. But best of all is the commitment of staff to providing those needs and the feeling of belonging to a warm, caring community of friendly people.
