I would highly recommend Oaks at Hampton. In less than 2 years, I've moved my parents to 3 facilities for a variety of progressing reasons. All of the places were quite good; Oaks is the best because of the people – administration, staff and the residents themselves. Everyone seems happy to be there. I've observed staff having personal relationships with each resident; knowing their preferences and personalities seems like an impossible task but I'm a witness to it. It's a very social interaction, not just "doing their jobs". They go out of their way to find interesting activities for residents – meals out, train rides and farm visits to name a few. The kind, high energy social director is amazing with all the residents. Everyone has been kind and helpful to me as a family member and gone above and beyond on several occasions. I'd be remiss to not mention those buttery biscuits and heavenly grits they serve for breakfast! Lots of the food is excellent.

We are very pleased with our experience. The staff are the best. There are three meals served a day and there are choices to choose from. Some of the activities available include: outings, theme events such as chili cookoff, therapy, and more for the residents to participate in. There is a gym on site and we are happy with the therapy that is provided.

We've had a great experience so far, from the executive director down through the staff. I feel they all care about the residents and the community. The facilities are pleasant and kept clean, and we feel it is a good overall value for what we pay.

We are very happy with the Oaks at Post Road. They have a caring and loving staff from the top on down! Plenty of activities to avoid boredom. It really is a happy environment.

We have been very happy. It's been a really great experience My loved one has improved, and seems very content and likes the community. My loved one, is participating and smiling more. Overall, they are calm, content and seems to be making friends.

Oaks at Ellijay is a nice and mostly quiet place. It's friendly and it has a beautiful view. My friend really loves having a room to herself.

I toured this community and it was beautiful. We were looking to move our loved one from a different facility to this one. It was a night and day difference. This facility is so much better. The only downfall is that it's 2 levels, not ideal for our loved one. But it's a great place. Staff was always around and friendly. It was always clean. Unfortunately, our loved one passed before we could get her moved.

My only complaint is the plug in air fresheners they use in the hallways. Essential oil diffusers would be much healthier and more pleasant. The Oaks has been a wonderful experience for my dad. He moved there 6 months after my mother passed away, so it was a difficult transition. He was reluctant at first to become involved in the social activities, but he soon enjoyed them very much. He made new friends and developed his own life. He has been very happy there.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. This has been a positive experience for us so far. I know the community has an activities calendar available for the residents to engage with. However, my loved one doesn't get involved with the activities so I'm unsure how much they have. The staff make sure to invite my loved one to the activities, though. There are three meals a day, and the community provides a menu for the residents to choose from. The community will bring meals to the resident's room if the resident doesn't want to go to the dining room, or unable to go to the dining room.

The director is there all the time, and he worked with me on the price. The care staff is amazing. That doesn’t mean that they’re there at the drop of a pin, but within 5-10 minutes they’re always there. They always come and get my mom for activities. They don’t let her just sit in her room, which I appreciate. The nurse is very involved and goes around and checks on everybody and says hello everyday. For a small facility, it is just perfect.

It has worked out very well, they are very accommodating. Very friendly, very passionate.

I think it is a very homey type of place which is fitting for my mother.

They were exceptional in every way. The pricing was fair. The staff and management are exceptional. The activities director is phenomental and made my loved ones life much better. The whole experience was top notch.

Both of my parents were placed in Memory Care at The Oaks at Hampton three years ago due to dementia and Alzheimer’s. The staff, director and the Activities director helped my sister and me ease into the realm of having parents that are in a home. It was one of the most gut wrenching decisions I ever made. These wonderful people welcomed my parents and family with open arms; they were there for us when my father passed away, attending visitation and funeral services for him. They protected my mother through the Pandemic and I frankly don’t know how they did it.. The people at The Oaks have embraced my mother and treated her with compassion and love; they have taken wonderful care of her and I will always be grateful!

My parents moved in 2019, and I admit that they were originally reluctant participants, but after only 3 months Mom & Dad began to really feel like this was there home. And it was because the staff there, being so kind, courteous and respectful of them. In the 3 years my parents have been there, we have no big issues with their care, and of the few tiny ones, I have to say that resolutions were found quickly and without drama. We recently lost my 93 year old Dad after a short illness, and the community, staff and residents, have rallied around Mom and the rest of us. They made it easy for us to genuinely feel their sincere condolences and care. Dad was happy there. Mom is happy there still. With the exception of losing Dad, this has been a near perfect journey. We could not be more happy, and we send a huge THANK YOU to all of Mom's caregivers at the Oaks at Stockbridge!!!

My wife and I moved to this beautiful community and have thrived. The fellowship is amazing! Food is great activities are fun and the staff are very friendly.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a wonderful tour experience, we would of been happy with our loved one here but unfortunately our loved ones level of care needs were just to high for them to handle.

We toured Oaks at Gracemont and had a great tour experience & first impression. We chose another community because it was 2 miles away, and my dad preferred to be in closer proximity than where Oaks at Gracemont was located.
