My sister is very happy here now that she's all settled in. She has had some medical issues, but the team is staying on it and caring for her very well.

Ten years ago, we made the decision to move my parents into Montecito as my mother’s health was declining and the ability to care for my parents became more challenging. We chose Montecito because it had all of the services that we required for both of my parents. My mother was in the early stages of dementia and my father needed to downsize and simplify to a safer environment that had the day-to-day services they required immediately, as well as longer term memory care services. I learned a long time ago in the business world, that “Teams Win”. I can tell you that Montecito has a Great Team with the right personnel in place to care for a wide range of residents with multiple needs. My father still resides at Montecito, and the care and support he gets today is even better than it was ten years ago!

Oakmont of Las Vegas was my first experience with an assisted living facility and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. It takes special people to work at care facilities and Oakmont has some of the best. I think instead of Assisted Living, Oakmont needs to be called "Assisted Loving"! Thanks for all that you do!

My dad moved here from Wisconsin in May. This was a huge change for him and he was hesitant but Oakmont made the experience of moving and his arrival easy. He loves the activities and can’t stop talking about how good the food is, especially breakfast! It’s great to have him nearby, but even more importantly that he’s happy.

The Montecito has been a life saver for our family. Watching my dad be the happiest that I have ever seen. Dad still wanted to stay at home. But we finally got him into the Montecito with a lot of pushing. I have never seen him smile and have fun with so many new friends. I would tell my friends that it felt like a college dorm with everybody enjoying everybody! His favorite was playing poker twice a week. Dad also loved the happy hour. When I would come to visit, the staff included me in everything. Such a kind, warm environment. People really care about you.

We will never forget the kindness and care you extended to him and to us. The staff at Sunrise Sabre Springs is a wonderful and unique group of people who provided our Dad, who previously resided at [removed], with exceptional care under very trying circumstances.

Montecito and it’s staff have been a blessing and answer to our prayers! In the beginning of this new, unfamiliar territory, and chapter for Mom, and us, they answered every question, guided us, step by step, helping with what felt like huge decisions to even small things. Knowing Mom is happy, comfortable, safe, and enjoying herself is everything!

I love the way they make everything accessible here in the building. They help me with scheduling drives to appointments and running errands. I get to have great meals throughout the day. I have a it of fun going down to the happy hours the community hosts every Thursday.

Oak not is such a wonderful place to live in. I enjoy the company of the staff. They are so friendly and ready to help. I like to participate in the church services that are held in the building. The exercise classes are also great ways to start my day.

The director at Ivy Park, [name removed], was a brilliant communicator and her experience was evident.

First thing my mom noticed: Everyone is smiling here! :) Montecito rec'd my mom about 6 weeks after she nearly died from a fall in her home. After a week in hospital and another 4 weeks in a rehab center that actually made her worse, she arrived at Montecito and was finally able to begin a healing journey and a change of lifestyle. 3 months later, the care/assistance she needed was reduced by about 75% thanks to the excellent care from the ENTIRE staff at Montecito! Everyone, from the director to the front desk concierge team to the care givers and med techs to the wait staff in the dining rooms have been exceptional and have directly contributed to Mom's successful rehab and her ability to adapt to enjoy a lifestyle change that she avoided out of fear for over a decade. The Montecito team creates an environment and lifestyle that provides the necessary level of care and assistance for each individual while empowering them to be as independent as possible. Simply brilliant! :)

When deciding that the next step in my mothers life would be in an assisted living facility, we researched every facility in the area and visited each and every one. I had decided that Montecito was the facility that made me feel the most welcome and at home, but did not share my thoughts with my mom as I wanted her own opinion. She immediately fell in love with Montecito and had nothing but wonderful things to say. After she moved in, she was able to acclimate and meet a new group of friends. Everyone at the facility is wonderful and so helpful. I would highly recommend Montecito to others.

Oakmont of Montecito is a great place. My father came here first. He loved the activities that they provided. His health declined and the care at Montecito was incredible by the staff until he passed. My mom had moved in before dads health declined. Mom isn’t a social butterfly like dad was. As time went by mom got comfortable with the staff and residents. Now that dad is gone mom is very comfortable and tells me she loves Montecito and feels safe. Mom now socializes with residents. Moms memory isn’t the best and the staff knows how to communicate with mom without upsetting her. I’ve witness this myself and I applaud them. I have been going to Montecito 2-4 times a week for the past 16 months and I have never seen any unprofessional behavior from any staff member at Montecito. NEVER!!! I commend the management at Monticeto on hiring caring and compassionate people at Montecito. Thank you Oakmont of Montecito for your care, compassion and kindness for my mom and my family.

After my mother experienced a stroke I began my search for a community for my mom that would provide her with the high standards of living that she was accustom to in Austin. After researching and interviewing many possible candidates, Oakmont of Montecito stood out as the new home for my mom. The facility is beautifully maintained, outstanding on site nursing team, attentive caring staff and loaded with unique and engaging activities which made my mom feel right at home immediately. Have recommended them to friends and family to care for their own loved ones.

My Mom and her husband of 25 years moved to Montecito 12 years ago. Her husband was 11 years older and they wanted to be closer to us and have more of a social life. We looked at 7 places before choosing Montecito and the others didn’t come close. My Mom’s husband passed two years after they moved. The support was ama ing. The staff know every resident by name and know my name as well. I am there at least once a week and always amazed by the personal care and service they give each resident. Montecito does a great job of providing entertainment and special events to mix up the routines. The food is fantastic and there are many choices at each meal. It’s much like a nice restaurant With linens and flowers. When needed medical aide and care is provided and gives us family members help and a break when needed. I can’t imagine my Mom being anywhere else. Oakmont facilities and particularly Montecito is simply the best of the best!

My friend has been a resident of Oakmont of Montecito since 2015. Over the years, the facility has remained Top Cabin! The moment you walk in, the Concierge greets you with a welcoming smile. The activities are varied to meet the needs of the residents who come from different life experiences. There are outings you can sign up to participate and even the convenience of the local mall to be dropped of and picked up by the Montecito van. Staff! They are the most congenial and supportive individuals that I have had the opportunity and pleasure to meet. Their specific job is important to them, and it shows. They know the residents and you can hear the greetings by name. The cuisine is delightful and meets the need of all palates! The facility is immaculate. A recent renovation only added to the ambiance; so tastefully done! My friend has had her friends select Oakmont of Montecito as their assisted living setting having visited her over the years. It is truly wonderful and welcoming.

I am a new resident and have loved being here. I have liked having easy access to a theater. I get the full experience but none of the hassle. The meals are so tasty. I really enjoy the happy hour events every week. The music is alway fun and never the same.

I have been in this building since open=Ning day. I have loved every second of it. The place is clean and the staff is always so nice. I always look forward to playing a round of bingo with my neighbors up in the activity room.

We moved in here about two and one half years ago. We often remind ourselves that we made a great decision. I think the most important thing about MONTECITO is how friendly all the staff and administration is. The facilities are special and the administration has been spending significant dollars to keep them that way before they start Looking tired..We annually conduct an appreciation fund raiser for giving to those who serve us. The residents really stepped up and set a record in the amount raised. I think this is a testimony to how the residents feel about those who take care of us . It shows that in spite of the trials going on around us the residents truly appreciate what the staff does for us… Tthe staff is an amazing team. They work very well together and I have seen them perform extremely well under stressful conditions . The Executive Director is a true leader not just a manager. She leads by example. She is accessible to the residents as well as the staff.

My Mom has lived at Oakmont of Montecito for over 2-1/2 years. The esthetics are beautiful and comfortable and the staff treat the residents like family. The dining room uses cloth napkins and table cloths, which feels more like a restaurant than a assisted living residence. My Mom has commented positively about the varied food selections and quality. (One of my Mom’s favorite is the Eggs Benedict on weekends.) My Mom is enjoying a mostly independent life here, and my sisters and I are relieved to know that she can get help at any time if she needs it. And more importantly, that she is physically and mentally stimulated with the wide variety of activities and outings. My Mom has made friends here. The management keeps the residents well informed and involved. They keep the apartments and public areas clean and Covid protocols continue to be re-enforced keeping infection rates low!! It’s a safe, caring and dignified environment for my Mom to live out the rest of her life.
