A lot of billing issues. Communication is poor from the billing department. Getting statements submitted to insurance is frustrating. Turn over is very high in administration which leads to poor communication. My loved one lived there many years and there was no painting or upkeep. The walls got dingy and needed new carpet etc. For the price more upkeep would be expected. Staff is sparse. Trying to find a caregiver is difficult when visiting. The positive is many activities. They always have the residents up and active.

In October I had a tour with the community and saw that they were under construction. I did not get to see the rooms and it was an older facility. While walking around I saw some residents in the dining room but no activities or engagement happening. The staff were there but not as friendly. I also didn't get a good feel of what their program was like. I wanted a nice and modern community with an inclusive monthly price, they had many extra care costs. A little more exposure to what the resident are doing with activities would have been better.

Since I live close to the lovely community where my husband lives, he often wants to come home with me. There is nothing wrong with the care. They are doing a fine job with my husband, everything is very good.

I was happy with care that was received here. The staff was nice and friendly. The community was clean and taken care of. I liked that they did offer her activities to choose from. The community offered a good menu to enjoy. I would recommend other families to see the great care that is offered here.

There are a lot of things that were disappointing. They don't return calls, even after leaving numerous messages. The facilities aren't clean, there isn't dirt piled in the corners, but it doesn't seem well kept. The garden wasn't clean, with wires and broken bulbs around. I have been so dissapointed I think we are going to move our loved one. For the money they charge, I would expect things to be better cared for, I just don't feel like they are living up to expectations.

This community was fair with the care that they offered my father. He was not there too long, but seemed to like the staff who were nice. The community is clean with a few small areas for improvement. I think this community needs alittle help in a few areas.

I was not impressed during my tour with this particular community. The bedrooms needed a lot of renovations from the carpet to the paint and the furniture looked very old and outdated. The rooms also seemed very small with a very closed off floor plan. I would not want my mother to be living in this community.

Visited, but they only have one room available. No inside shower, mom will not like. Sales person was VERY nice!

This community is kept clean and is cared for. The staff work well with my dad. The administrative staff is not very responsive. I have not heard any complaints about the food. They offer a variety of activities. I would probably recommend this community.

Very nice facility, but a bit expensive for the size of the units - no rooms with patios or balcony and no view.

Good morning , Well it has only been in operation for a year. My mom has been there two months . Overall she is content but some issues have not been resolved . Example she would like larger portions of food her salads which are forgotten at times . The residents do not get enough fruits and vegetables. The care givers do try very hard in taking care of her needs. It is a very clean and new place . I would like her to get more involved with activities . She enjoyed a day ride they took them out. Don't know if she has done it again. Since I live in Idaho I'm not sure what all goes on there.( calif ) , just her feedback . She loves her salon days and craft days . very large facility that is spread out. Looks pretty new but rather impersonal by the layout. Lots of clutter. Not for us.

I helped my aunt choose Vintage at Burbank and she's been there now for several months. I have been a bit surprised to learn, after the fact, that despite the high cost of this place, the people who live there have pretty much no say in the food they are served. Not that you can make everyone happy all the time, but the chef or whoever makes the grocery list apparently pays much attention to any of the ongoing requests of the tenants. For $5K or 6K a month, you'd think you could get toast on the bread you want or asking for some other kind of fish instead of Talapia (which incidentally has the LEAST nutritional value of all the fishes). I know that many elderly people have issues with their diets and a loss of appetite is common, so this really is not a small thing. I have another relative at The Village at Northridge and the food options there are amazing. Similar cost as well, so maybe we will be making that change for my aunt if they continue to be unwilling to hear from their tenants.

She is there and she is not happy there. I would rather not go into all the details at this time, but I will be speaking with them next week.

I toured here when I was looking for options. I wasn't very impressed. The seemed to have a nice window dressing, but it seemed fake to me. When I met with the nurse, I knew this wasn't a good fit for us.

I guess she is doing better than she was at the other place. No one has really called me in 2 weeks. There are no follow up calls regarding my Aunt, but I am the one that got her in there. The hospice people need to get her on better supplements, but they will not listen to me. I know that supplements work because I am a nurse. I am meeting with some resistance when I call. I just want to be able to talk to the nurses to get her on a supplement that will help her. I did speak to the business office today, so hopefully we can get some results.

They could improve on the seating for the dining room. There is a distinct division among the residents, and those that have been there longest sit in the same seat, so it is hard to introduce new people and welcome them.
