Oak Park Place

I loved everything about Oak Park Place. It's very well run. I would recommend it to others. The facility is very thoughtfully designed. You can be as involved in the activities they schedule as you wish.

Everything there at Oak Park place is beyond expectations! So glad we found it! I would absolutely recommend Oak Park Place to others who are searching for memory care for their loved one.

I am writing for my sister, coming up on one year in the memory care unit at OPP. After visiting a number of area homes, we decided that OPP was the best fit, and this was an excellent decision. The directors of housing, activities, and nursing are all top rate. Any issues that come up are addressed in a timely, and positive way. Staff is caring, and treat the residents with dignity and respect. Food service is excellent, and the activities provided are are always plentiful, and provide the residents with challenging, appropriate activities. I would recommend OPP to anyone looking for such a facility

Working with the team at Oak Park Place Menasha has been a very good experience. My mom has been there a little over a year now in memory care. My mom is very happy there and that makes me happy. The facility is very nice and clean. The food looks to be very nice as well, there seems to be a nice variety of food served. I believe my mom receives great care there, even when staffing is a bit short, but what place isn't these days. I would highly recommend OPP to anybody looking for a facility for a family member.

No question, I would rate each category the highest (best) possible. I looked at 3 facilities for my wife, and Oak Park Place topped them all. Staff was super caring and helpful, even when I wasn't there. [name removed] at first had a difficult time adjusting, but I could tell by her attitude that she was very comfortable in her new home. The things that stuck out were the cleanliness, communication with me, the freshness of furniture and decor. It only took one interview, and I was sure this was the right place for [name removed]. And I wasn't disappointed. I know she died in peace. I would highly recommend OPP for all types of people with a condition like hers.

I moved my mom to Oak Park Place from her other facility in IL to be closer to me and my family. She is nonverbal and level 2 memory care. After a few weeks of adjusting, she seems right at home there. I can tell she is happy and comfortable. The staff take such great care of her, they keep her clean and fed and social! I couldn’t ask for a better arrangement for her in this stage of life! Thank you especially to [name removed], [name removed] and [name removed] for always updating me on her daily routines. I’m forever grateful!

The apartment is well appointed and maintained well. The residents are kind and friendly. There's as little or as lot of activities as you wish. They accommodated my two requests (storage and parking spot) quickly and easily. I honestly have no complaints.

My experience was very positive and I would recommend anyone work with you. You answered many questions and even helped me through questions I didn't know to ask.

What we like the most about Oak Park is that they take good care of my loved one. The community is clean and the staff are very friendly and nice. Oak Park Place Menasha has been a great place for my mom. Mom is in the Memory Care area and they really do a nice job. I’d like to specifically call out the Activities staff, they really keep everyone involved, mom really enjoys it there. The facility is very nice, I would highly recommend it to anyone who is in need.

Review from our experience in June 2023 - There were multiple changes in management while we were there. The current Director had only been there for a few months before my mom passed, so I don't know if things have changed under her management. Three of her caregivers were amazing, and the activities person really connected with my mom.

It's a nice community with a lot to do if one wants to take advantage. Mom is very happy at Oak Park Place, so therefore I would recommend the facility to others looking.

Oak park was a great place for mom. Unfortunately mom was only there a short while before she passed. The staff there was so caring and accommodating. It was comforting to know they were only a call away.

I would certainly recommend OPP. Overall, I'm very pleased with the staff and admin. I feel as though there is an open door policy in admin. Also, they are very friendly and accommodating. Most of the staff are very friendly and pleasant. My brothers and I are very pleased we chose OPP for our mother's care.

My experience with Oak Park Place has been terrific, from my first tour, through the prep & support for move-in, and to now - the current care and programs for my Mom. She loves the quiet of her apartment, the activities, she says the food is good, and the staff really are there for her when she needs help. The nurse is very helpful when we have questions about medicines, and the facility is clean and modern, with lots of room to roam. Their front desk staff is so friendly and helpful, too. I recommend that you take a look, as they also seem to have great pricing, compared to several others I looked at in the area.

My loved one is a resident at Oak Park Place and overall things have been mostly great for him at this facility. The food varies from good to very good, depending on the day. I would like to see more activities after dinner hours. However, the things that are presented are very good. Our loved one's needs versus the level of care that he is labeled seems high. But we are very grateful for those who care for him.
