My father is doing very well at this community and everything is going great. This is a very clean community, everything looks nice and well-kept. The staff is very good and very helpful. They were very responsive to my concerns and they are very attentive. There a nice activities offered here. My father likes the food, they serve very nice meals. I like the courtyard garden and the dining area is very nice. They have a variety of residents. It has been a pleasant experience and I would recommend it.

Van Mall has been great. My mother has no complaints. She participates in activities daily. She enjoys the food very much, it's an improvement from where she was. I highly recommend this community. I have no complaints whatsoever.

St. Andrew's has been great for my dad. The staff genuinely seems to care and he appears to get a lot of attention. They have been responsive to our needs and have looked for solutions to issues that have come up. There are several staff on each floor and different shifts, so sometimes there isn't a clear way to get info to all the care givers (i.e. "he likes to wear socks all the time;" "this is his favorite blanket"). The food is better than I expected; menu reads rather basic but it's all been tasty and the residents like it.

They have just seen my grandmother through the rehabilitation of breaking her hip bone and then returning home and all of the staff members at Van Mall have just done a great job advocating for her care.

They are doing fantastic. I really appreciate the referral from A Place for Mom. We really like Van Mall, and he really likes it. They have a lot of fun stuff to do, he just hasn't had much chance to join in yet. They really have been just terrific.

Overall we're very pleased with how things have gone at Van Mall! It's a very nice looking, clean, well kept community. The common areas are all very spacious to allow room for residents with wheelchairs and walkers. They also do a great job with the food. The community just had a homey comfortable feel overall, not like some of the places we saw that just felt like hotels converted for seniors to live in.

Our Mom and Dad were both living at Powell Valley for less than a month and both passed away there. You might expect less because they weren't well known yet, but the whole experience couldn't have been better if it had been family. They were extremely caring, warm, thoughtful, and efficient. I would recommend this place to any and everyone whole heartedly. The food was excellent and superbly presented, the care was very good and lovingly supplied. The environment was clean and updated. The grounds and facility are beautiful and well kept. They have beautiful rose gardens and a courtyard with water features. I would love to be there when I need support.

While it's only been a couple of weeks, my mom appears to be completely enjoying her new home and lifestyle. She is becoming more active than she has been in years, which is so beneficial to her health. I can't remember the last time I saw her so happy and excited about life. The staff are all fantastic as is the food. I'm so glad I performed my due diligence when selecting Van Mall as the community where my mom will spend, hopefully, many happy years.

It’s a wonderful place. We’ve been very impressed. If our loved one needs someone to help with her cell phone or hang something in her room – someone is right there to help. She’s very happy. There has been enough parking.

We feel that Alpine Court is the best Facility in Eugene-Springfield.The rooms are larger then at other places and what's considered semi-privet is allmost as good as a privet room. How ever,.it was not " A place for mom" that took me to visit and check out Alpine Court but Rod Holst from ADULT SOLUTIONS . He took me to 5 Facilities including Alpine Court and arranged a meeting with Shana, who explained the ins and outs of the Facility. Rod Holst deserves the credit for us deciding on Alpine Court.

Everything is just great! We're very pleased. We decided to move in. They have the independent living cottages, and then they have assisted living in the main lodge, and memory care as well. We are in the cottages and the price is definitely fair - in fact, it was actually cheaper than some of the others in the area. They could improve on the food service, since the waitresses are also the caregivers, so their duties are divided, which naturally slows them down. Other than that thouhg, we have been very pleased so far.

So far so good. The only thing is the food program, there is a lot of gravy and chicken, there aren't a lot of healthier options, other than the salad bar. I think the professionalism of the staff is what really stands out about them, they are so nice and really seem personable. Whoever is taking care of the maintenance is also doing a good job, it is always clean and well kept.

I met with Meghan and received some great information about how assised living is different from adult foster care. She showed me their Woodside building. I liked it alot and I think D would like it too. It is the most expensive facility and requires a $2000 entry fee that is very steep. They have only one studio available that was very nice and the perfecet size with lots of light.

I just left from visiting my Dad at his new home. About a month ago he needed to move from his independent living facility to one with greater assisted living. He is 94 and he was starting to fall more often and feeling more lonely at night. We found Powell Valley through "A Place For Mom". It has proved to be a great find. In Dad's words they are very friendly and welcoming at his new place. Wen he walks down the hall everyone says hello. There are a bunch of Packer fans some of which have stopped in to discuss the team. He also enjoys sitting out in the courtyard reading, watching the water in the ponds and the people walking by. All of my interactions with the staff have great and they have welcomed my Dad into the community. I am so happy that we found this great community!

They're great. They cost about the same or a little bit lower than the rest of them around town so that's good. They only thing is they have a schedule or charges after you rent the aparment. We're up to $1100 and we don't need everything in those departments so I think we're paying more than we should for that. He needed to be shown where the dining room was a couple of times and he needed his meds given to him and a bath. He doesn't need the first one anymore and he'll refuse the baths as much as he can. So we're paying $1100 for the meds and baths that aren't happening. Legally they can't force him and I wouldn't want them too. No matter where he went, that would be the same. He doesn't take part in the activites but I see a lot of other people doing them and they seem to have a good time. They're very good people there - I like them.
