My mom is a recent resident of Brandywine at Mountain Ridge. She's lived there for about a month in a one-bedroom apartment, and my husband and I cannot get over the positive change in her. She was feeling rather hopeless and depressed and uninterested in doing things before her move to Brandywine. She was having trouble walking (with a walker) and uninterested in doing exercises to mitigate the problem. Well, one month later mom is wearing her nicest clothes and pretty earrings and make-up and moving around the halls on her walker like a pro. We're amazed at her progress. It's the staff, who make everyone feel like family and go a long way toward integrating each new member into the community. Mom's made some new friends and really enjoys after-lunch bingo, especially when she wins. She's hardly ever in her apartment. Worth the cost and the 45-minute distance from where my husband and I live. We are very grateful that mom is becoming more like the person she was when she was working (at 80). She's nearly 85 now and has the start of a new lease on life, which is exactly what we wanted for her.

We have had a very good experience with Brandywine, starting from our initial tour, through my father's move in and subsequent transition. The facilities are very comfortable and well-maintained, and the proximity of the attached rehabilitation center is very convenient. The staff is friendly, engaging, and very welcoming to residents and families. They went out of their way to ensure that his transition was as smooth as possible. A wide variety of activities and outings are offered for the residents, and the staff seeks out opportunities to engage specific interests of each resident. After considering a number of other facilities in the area, we are very happy to be with Brandywine.

Brandywine allowed my mom to stay for a several days (weeks) on a trial basis. Mom agreed, with the promise of some physical therapy for her aching legs. My mom has lived at Brandywine for the past six months. She has flourished there under the expert care of the staff and management. I cannot put into words how the loving and dedicated care of ALL staff members has impressed our entire family. Their commitment has given our family peace of mind and, Mom a happy smile on her face. We feel secure in knowing she eats her meals and her meds are supervised. Mom participates in the activities, has many friends and has a lovely, comfortable room. We are grateful every day for the gift of Brandywine.

Brandywine Senior Living at Middlebrook Crossing has become a very special place for my mom as well as our family. After much discussion in 2009 our family along with mom realized we needed to move our parents from Florida back to New Jersey and find them a place to live that would meet both of their needs. We visited many senior living homes and the only one that felt right for all of us was Brandywine. The staff has been wonderful to our family especially through the transition and changes over the years. Our mom has made some good friends and really enjoys the people who work at Brandywine. The activities, the outings, and the care from all the personnel makes Brandywine a very special place.

From the first day I toured to the move in, & now the actual living day to day, Brandywine Princeton has been a very positive experience. It has become a home not just a place to live, for my dad. Everyone there has been very helpful, friendly, welcoming & professional. The entire staff works together as a team, to make sure your loved one is well cared for. They have a lot of activities, weekly outings/field trips, a bus to Target, the grocery store, a Farm market etc. They have visiting entertainers, dance troupes, bands etc. I visited 6 other Assisted living facilities before I visited Brandywine & this is the one I would personally live in. I am very satisfied with the professionalism, the care & the team. Also a major plus for me is how clean it is all the time. Brandywine is AWESOME!

Our Mom has been at Brandywine Senior Living at Fenwick Island in the Reflections program (Memory Care unit) for 3 years. She is thriving there. Her Alzheimer’s deterioration has slowed with the active yet structured environment, daily exercise (Fun, Fit and Fabulous) and healthy meals. The caregivers are kind and attentive; yet do not do things for the residents that they can do for themselves. Brandywine has programs for the residents that are fun and family focused, such as the monthly Family Day Connections. This is a monthly “theme based” party for the residents and their families to enjoy shared experiences. Brandywine serves special treats and has live music for everyone to enjoy either by singing along, dancing or just listening. We feel so fortunate and blessed to have our Mom at Brandywine. We no longer worry about her safety, well-being or whether she is being mentally stimulated. We know she is!

I first discovered Brandywine Senior Living while looking for a place for my mom who was starting to have difficulty living on her own. My husband and I saw a couple of places in the area but when we walked into Brandywine I knew it was special. Brandywine is unique! From the moment you are greeted at the desk you are being welcomed into a family atmosphere. There is a keen sense of community at Brandywine and all the residents seem very content. On nice days people sit outside and enjoy the fresh air and the grounds, everyone greats you both residents and staff. I am one of 8 children and we all agreed Brandywine was right for mom where she has been living for two years. Unfortunately mom has been moved to the Reflections unit at Brandywine due to her dementia/Alzheimer’s condition. Her care is exceptional, she is always clean and out with the other residents in Reflections, never shut in her room. Her needs are always addressed and she is treated with respect, dignity and a great deal of compassion by the staff. Brandywine is a wonderful place for any family member who no longer can or wants to live on their own. The staff is beyond friendly. Brandywine is very clean and resembles a family home setting more than a facility setting. The atmosphere is full of warmth and caring. There are lots of activities for the residents and the staff is always encouraging the residents to get involved. Brandywine also includes the families of its residents with functions through the year. It is festive and bright. My brothers and sisters and I are all very happy with Brandywine & encourage you to visit and see for yourself.

We are very happy that our mom is in Brandwine in Howell. The workers are very nice to her and even though she has dementia, there are many activities that keep her mind busy so she doesn't get upset. We love her room, and the food always looks delicious. The staff all know her by name which makes her feel like part of the family. Good job Brandywine!

Brandywine at Wall has been home to both my parents for six years. Knowing that they are being cared for by a Knowledgeable and sincere staff has made this transition so much easier on our families. Starting in respite care for my Mom while dad was in a skilled nursing unit and then moving both of them to a lovely apartment in the assisted living unit, and finally to Reflections, the memory care facility, this home has addressed every one of their aging problems/concerns. Brandywine also continues to care for residents once their monetary resources are exhausted. Most importantly , Brandywine follows medical guidelines by informing families of immediate concerns, may it be a skin tear, fall, digestion problems, eyes, dental, or a need to see a specialist. They also have periodic meetings and workshops for family members.

The first time we visited Brandywine Seaside, it felt like home. The staff there is energetic and welcoming, and the facility is like a home with different rooms to explore and a beautiful courtyard. We loved that residents are assessed to determine their needs and provide the best level of care for them. Since my mother has been there (almost 2 months), her medications are on a schedule, she eats 3 meals a day and she's in a lot less pain for the first time in years. She's enjoyed the activities that she can do, and she says the food is "pretty good!" Nothing is ever perfect, of course ... it's not "home", and occasionally an employee is not as compassionate with the elderly as they might be. That said, if there is ever a problem, the staff listens and responds quickly. They are also great about keeping us informed of any problems since we don't live in the area. One other thing ... Brandywine allows small pets, which meant that my mother could take her cat with her. That was huge!

My mother has been a resident at Brandywine for just over 2 years and since I live in the Chicago area, it has been incredibly reassuring to know she is in such great hands. I always tell her that she is living in a college dorm for the elderly! People are friendly, Lindsay the Community Relations Director is awesome and has visited my mom in the hospital on several occasions when she went in for hip surgery. The staff keeps them busy and it's difficult to get in touch with mom because she's always doing things. I grew up in Litchfield and mom has friends from there, but has also made new friends with folks who have come in from all over. They also go on field trips to places that have special meaning to mom, as well as to places she never really took the time to see while she and dad were raising us. Her room is always clean, the food is great and the community engagement is terrific.

My mother-in-law has resided at Brandywine Senior Living at Wall for 1 1/2 years. We have found it to be a lovely inviting place. The facility is beautifully furnished and well maintained. The staff is energetic, professional and courteous. They are helpful and open to our concerns. One of our important considerations in choosing a home for her was the food. It has lived up to our expectations. There is a variety of offerings with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. The soups are especially good. The outdoor spaces are well designed and inviting. We are very pleased with our choice.

Brandywine Senior Living at Sycamore has been a great blessing for our family. My dad has been there several times over the last few years for respite care when I had a conflict as his full-time caregiver. The staff has been so responsive to his specific care needs. They have been so responsive to me, always showing kindness and compassion. They have always worked with whatever would make things more comfortable for me. I am so thankful for everyone there as I can leave my dad and not have worry or concern that he is not being cared for well. The food is wonderful, the atmosphere is happy and loving, the activities are plentiful. They treat everyone as an individual, making everyone feel like they matter. I would not choose another place and I have been to many! I would highly recommend Brandywine Senior Living at Sycamore without hesitation! If I could not care for dad, I would strongly consider this facility based on all the excellent care and attention shown to both myself and my dad.

My Dad lived here for a little over a year. Before that he was living at home and it was a very difficult decision to make, but the staff here made things so much easier. The executive director and nursing director are the 2 most caring individuals you could ever wish to meet. They treated my Dad as if he were their Dad. He was very happy the time that he spent here. The facility is very pleasant and the staff as well. If we had it to do over again we would have chosen the same place.

Brandywine Senior Living is a superb facility. My father has lived here for eight years. When he first moved in he was 90, still driving, busy on his computer, and going on all the trips. As his health has diminished, his needs have been completely met. He has had some major health issues through the years, and has been at many rehabs following hospital stays, but he always wants to get back home. The facility is beautiful and clean, the rooms are nicely sized, activities are great, the food is very nice. The best part about Brandywine however is the people. They treat the residents wih a great amount of caring, absolute dignity, and professionalism. At the same time, they are warm and friendly and truly become a second family. My father's quality of life has been the best it could possibly have been living at Brandywine.

My dad is currently living at Brandywine at Gov. Crossing. He moved in 1 year this month. Since moving in, I haven't seen my dad happier, healthier or more active in a very long time! He loves living at Brandywine and tells us so. He is given the best care by a dedicated staff who are all truly caring, nurturing professionals. All his meals are taken care of including his special dietary needs. No more missed medicines either. Doctos and specialists come onsite regularly and transpostation to local doctors is also provided. Every day he participates in exercise class and current events. There's Bingo, dancing, live entertainment, weekly & monthly trips incl. casino & NYC theater, and let's not forget movie nights in Brandywine's dedicated theater! My dad, myself, and family couldn't be happier. Brandywine goes the distance and then some for all its residents and family members.
