The decision to move my husband from a high-end memory care unit to this facility has been one of the best choices I’ve made for both him and myself. At our previous community, my concerns were often brushed aside, leaving me feeling unheard and even questioning myself. Here, I know I’m not crazy—this community listens to me at all times and takes my concerns seriously. I have also transitioned into one of their independent villas, which offers exceptional value. [name removed] and her entire team have been instrumental in ensuring that this experience has been nothing short of outstanding. My husband is now receiving the professional, compassionate care he truly deserves. This facility managed every aspect of the move—from coordinating the movers and transportation to overseeing therapy Thank you for all you do and thank you for caring. We feel part of this family

I am an RN, AND CERTIFIED REHABILITATION REGISTERED NURSE 20 YEARS!!! had my brother to be admitted to a different facility. Within 24 hours or less, [name removed]and [name removed] went beyond the call of duty and my brother was admitted to Canterfield INSTEAD.. Private owners and the staff were all happy and friendly. Good sign when staff smile! Clean. Brother says food is good. God's blessings on this place [name removed], and [name removed]!!

I recently toured Canterfield, and I was impressed by [name removed] extensive knowledge about Alzheimer's and dementia. This small family-owned facility truly cares for its residents. They offer a variety of options for assisted living and memory care. The rehab services on the third floor and the salon services are wonderful as well. Overall, I believe this would be an excellent move for my mother. When I walked in everyone was very friendly and welcoming.

The problem is while they have hundreds of rooms for assisted living, they only had 14 for memory care. It was just luck that while my wife was in the hospital that we put a deposit for a room when it would be available. A room was available the day my wife had to leave the hospital under Hospice care. They came to the hospital and evaluated her. As being able to walk and feed herself, that qualified her for admittance. That window of self help was very short, maybe only a few weeks. It cost a little extra to have someone feed her in their dining room but it was worth the extra expense. My wife died after 2 months while there as she declined very quickly due to the Alzheimer's.

We chose this facility mainly due to the price and the people. They actually have two mobile vans that they take the residence on trips, one is for the independent living, and one is for the assisted living, but the assisted-living band is broken, and has been for months, I don't know what their plans are, but it doesn't sound like you're getting another one. Everything else is excellent except for the food which is sub par.

I can only say how great this community is to all residents, they treat everyone with respect. They know every resident by name! Their executive director and all management staff are very well involved. They promote within and give their staff training. They make everyone feel at home. I wouldn't hesitate to bring any elderly family, friend in need here. Canterfield is amazing and to me the best community in town!

I absolutely love Canterfield the best decision I ever could have made!!! I love Absolutely everything especially the people here I've made friends they help me when I don't feel well after dialysis I'm so grateful! I enjoy my meals and the young people who serve our food it's like a beautiful restaurant. I love the ladies who keep my place so clean and smelling good. The staff is very kind. I look forward to Sunday service here. It's just a wonderful place to stay

My mom has been a resident of Canterfield, in memory care, for a year now. We have been happy with the staff and caretakers. We are especially happy with the activities directors, [name removed] and [name removed]. They are both fantastic with all the memory care residents, they know them all by name, and are great at including them in their daily activities. We have also been very impressed with the service and special care that both [name removed]and [name removed] give to my mother. We met with [name removed], the marketing director, on the day of her arrival and she continues to check on my mom. [name removed], the executive director, has also been extremely helpful.

The facility is fairly new and very clean and well taken care of. The staff not only learned who mom was right away but that also learned who I was quickly. If there are any questions or concerns, they look into the matter right away as well. Our overall experience at Canterfield is very positive.... the staff is friendly and caring, they check on mom several times during the day as well as reminding her to go to meals. The food is average but they have lots of activities for the residents. We seem to be getting a good value for mom's overall care!

Canterfield of Kennesaw is One of the better facilities we looked at for sure and we are very happy my sister in law decided on it.

Three things I like most about the community - 1. The three nutritious meals daily. I felt that my MIL was not eating enough or that regularly. 2. The attendants that visit in her apartment three times a day to check on her. It's good to know she has someone seeing her that often in the event that she has deteriorated physically or mentally. 3. These fact that if she falls, she can get the appropriate level of help quickly.

From the moment I walked into this place I could tell that it was well maintained very friendly people both residents and staff. The rooms are spacious even in the one bedroom which is what I signed up for. Plenty of windows to let in the light so it’s nice and bright and cheerful! The food is good there are lots and lots of activities if you want to participate. A good place to spend your golden years!

We looked at 5 to 6 extended care facilities and Canterfield of Kennesaw stood out from the rest at our first visit. Now that mom has been here for several months, she is just loving it. She has made new friends and enjoys the many activities that are available. The staff is awesome and is very attentive to mom's needs. We couldn't be happier. Highly recommend Canterfield of Kennesaw.

The staff is extremely friendly, and very competent! The activities are wonderful, the food is great. They deliver the medicine on time. The hair salon is great also. Movie night every night is something my mom absolutely loves.! they go to the grocery store, Walmart, restaurants, etc. My mom calls it her resort.

The overall experience has been very good and the community is very clean. The staff very friendly and attentive. I'm in independent living. However we're having a COVID epidemic. Staff set testing station and have those positive isolated. Dining hall closed . All residents are served in their rooms. Breakfast and light meal in evening. Give staff a 5 for organizing the COVID response. Excellent meals with a variety on the menu new menu every week.

Canterfield of Fort Meyers is a wonderful place that I would recommend to everyone! We loved this place! Staff were very good with communicating with family members, exceptional care, caring staff, lots of events/activities.

The friendliness of the staff gets a 5+. I love the friendliness from the staff, they share stories of my mom to when I come to visit. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

What we like the most about Canterfield of Fort Myers is the management, they are easily accessible to talk to and based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend them to other families

They are very nice. Glad I was told about this community it was the best community I could have gotten my mother into.

Super staff. They're all so kind and are supportive of all Canterfield residents. Mom loves all the planned activities and she stays busy! I've enjoyed dining with mom there on several occasions and the food is remarkably very good. Highly recommend.
