The tenants. They were all so happy, and [name removed] was just amazing. We did end up putting dad in memory care there instead of independent living. The head nurse [name removed] thought he may need more one on one attention with his recent hospital stays. She was right. He is getting stronger every day! The whole staff is just amazing!

They have great staff and great activities. There is happy/social hour daily.

Great facility. Welcoming and Friendly experience. They answered all my questions and let me know what was included. Went over the process and what’s next if we want to move forward.

Care and staff are still great. They really treat the residents there like family. Would totally recommend to others and just say they make sure it feels like home by decorating and doing events for every holiday, looking for fun unique things for the residents and just giving them such a great place to enjoy this season of their life

I would give all categories a 5. Been very happy. The Med techs are great & caring. Reception and med techs are very responsive to family requests. Food is very good. Everyone takes the time to know the residents names and meal habits.

1. They had a single bed room and my brother is used to living alone. 2. The staff there were very nice. 3. There were a lot of activities going on and they had an ice cream bar area. My brother loves ice cream. 4. It was in a location that my brother requested. (City of Orange). Unfortunately being used to living alone, he was not able to acclimate to this environment

The staff seem very professional, nice and helpful. Facility is clean. Residents were friendly. Apartment is a comfortable size.

My tour of Almond Heights was thorough and enjoyable. The facility looked very well kept. The layout was bright and airy in common spaces, and there was an impressive amount of outdoor space to get sunshine.

I really loved this place. Clean professional and caring. I was shown the place and it was lovely. We at down and discussed through and compassionately what would be in store if we moved in. (I would need to be with my husband). Pricing seemed good but I only just started.

It was a very nice tour. They were friendly and answered all my questions. As it currently stands it is one of my finally selections. The buildings were clean and very invitin the light atmosphere. It made you feel at home.

Very friendly staff, most of which have been working at the facility for more than five years. They got to know my mom on day one and checked on her frequently her first few days there to make sure she was adjusting OK. They definitely go above and beyond my expectations.

Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. My mom has been enjoying meeting new people, the food has been good and not cooking has been great. The building and grounds are always clean and well kept and they do some light cleaning regularly in the room as well. Her apartment is a good sized one bedroom on the second floor with a beautiful view of trees and a hillside where the walking path runs.

Mt. Tabor Courtyard was very nice, kind and accommodating, especially at the last minute. My sister said the food is great and the people are very nice . I personally have not been there so I can't give detailed responses, but my encounter with them over the phone and with emails are terrific.

When my mom needed an assisted living facility, I had no idea where to start. A Place For Mom helped me get started. Huntington Terrace has been wonderful. The staff and facility is fantastic and my mom has adjusted well over the past 2 months. She likes the dining room and food very much!

My mother has lived at Sky Ridge for the last 18 or so months and I am always impressed by the amount of care she receives. Everyone from the executive director Kyle to the caregivers and other support staff all show a great deal of caring and patience with the residents. There are so many activities that they can participate in that the residents all stay active an engaged. My mom lights up when any of the staff come around because they are so kind and caring. Also, [removed name] deserves a special shout out for going above and beyond while my mom was doing daily radiation treatments nearby and during the recovery period after.

Walking into the facility I was greeted by a friendly face and a sign with my name on it! I was joined by [removed name] who guided me to a room where we could talk and get to know each other. He is a very friendly and nice person, and I enjoyed talking to him and getting to know more about the facility. [removed name] joined us soon after and it was nice to put a face to the friendly voice on the phone. We had lunch and I was introduced to several people who worked there. They were all very friendly and said it was a pleasure to be able to work there. After lunch we toured a two-bedroom apartment, and it was very nice. I'm in the research mode and don't know if I would move here or not, but it is a great choice! Thank you, McDowell Village

The staff and wonderful. They are kind, caring, and happy to help their residents. They know them by name and always greet them warmly. The faculty is immaculate and nicely appointed. It's cozy and inviting. It doesn't feel like an assisted living facility. I also love that you see residents hanging around in the common areas chatting and enjoying coffee and snacks.

We were favorably impressed with the Valencia at Cottonwood. The facilities are in the process of some renovation. It is expected that within a year new flooring, paint, etc. will update the facilities. The staff and programs provide a good impression. The rooms are a bit smaller than some other centers we have visited. We will consider this facility as a secondary option.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted, and spoke to one of the residents there. She spoke very highly about everyone and everything. [name removed] was wonderful! She really made me feel at home. My husband and I came back later that evening, and had dinner. The food was outstanding, and all the residents said hello, and were very happy. One of the local schools was doing a Christmas performance, and everyone was enjoying it. I knew instantly, this was the place for my Dad! He will be moving in this month.

Make sure you visit and talk to some of the residents. We were invited to walk around and visit all the areas by our selfs and to note any questions the might come up during the walk and talk.
