We just moved our Dad in yesterday and let me say, from the very first time we walked in there we could tell it was wonderfully different than other places we visited. The staff is AMAZING! We have been in touch about several things over the past couple weeks and each time they are more helpful than the last. I've mainly dealt with [name removed]and [name removed], they're so professional, sweet and both go above and beyond! Everyone makes my Dad and the family feel so welcome. We found our perfect spot for Dad and are so grateful to Vickery Parke for running this facility with an attitude of excellence!

I am so very thankful we found Fairforest Grove for Mother! It was such a difficult decision to make having to place her somewhere in the first place; but I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. I’ve not seen Mom this happy in a very long time. She is interacting with the other residents, making friends, and is actively involved in daily activities. The facility is maintained with the highest standards….no matter the time of day or night, it is always clean. I’ve saved the most important for last. The staff is the most amazing group of people I’ve meet. And I mean EVERYONE!…from the kitchen staff, maintenance, medical techs, caregivers to office staff. [name removed] should be very proud of her team. They truly care for our loved ones and care for them with such compassion. Mom and I absolutely adore each and every one of them!!! If I had to choose “A Place for Mom” again, I’d choose Fairforest each and every time!

I am very pleased with Fairforest Grove. I would rate all categories a 5. The staff has been very caring with my mother and us too. There are numerous fun activities planned, both daily and weekly, for all levels of participation. The cost of this facility is very reasonable for the services provided.

Moving dad to a facility at the age of 96 was a very hard decision. My brother and I did our homework and decided Rock Hill Grove would be our best choice. The staff not only provided the best possible care for our dad but they loved him like he was family. My dad was very happy enjoying everything RH Grove offered and quickly accepted Rock Hill Grove as his home away from home.

A very clean all inclusive facility with multiple apartment layouts to choose from. From the onset the staff set this place apart from others. After four months my disabled Father raves about the high tenure staff and their genuine care. Absolutely the best choice for assisted living locally.

A true hidden gem in Greenwood. They are a mighty team with alot to offer. You can really tell from the Administrator straight to the care givers they really care! Their residents all look so happy and really engaged in community life.

My mom has been living by her self and going downhill she’s giving up on life so it is time for her to regain her life back and we have been seeking a place for mom and did her homework very diligently and now my mother is thriving she has something to live for she’s entertaining herself going out with friends going to Social’s and she never did that while she was at home. She always stayed in the bed or in her recliner and slab. I highly recommend the grand Villa for your love ones.

Grand Villa has Very nice staff and the facility is always clean. They are all very friendly and willing to answer any questions we have concerning my mother. We are thankful she is here and doing well.

My 74-y.o. brother has early onset dementia, and after two years in another assisted living facility, we moved him into Grand Villa. It’s difficult to describe the relief that we now feel: Grand Villa appears to be the ideal landing spot for him. Everyone on the staff from top to bottom has been exceptionally helpful and caring, and in no time at all my brother has relaxed and content and (dare I say?) happy with the relocation. I’m so happy that we’ve become part of the Grand Villa community. What a relief!!!

Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Also one of the less expensive places which fit our budget. The price was right and they had a room available.

Mars Hill Manor is a great place for families that want their mother, father or both to be properly looked after in their later years. They treat everyone there as if they are part of their own families. Nursing staff is onsite 24 hours a day. Residents are constantly involved in activities to enhance both their physical and mental health. Families are kept up to date on their family members residing there by weekly emails. My family would highly recommend them.

My Dad is enjoying his life at Sanford Senior Living. Management, staff, and physical therapy are amazing! Prior to arrival my Dad could not stand. Today he told me with some assistance he stood up and then walked to his recliner with his walker on his own. I am thrilled! And feel so at ease that my Dad is so well taken care of at Sanford Senior Living. Thank you, [name removed], [name removed]& TEAM!! Cheers to Sanford Senior Living to being such a lovely place to call home!!

The decision to transition Mom to an assisted living facility was not an easy decision. The family of Quillen came along beside us, held our hands and guided us step by step. Keeping her safe was a huge factor in choosing assisted living but, we also wanted her to thrive in her new environment ! [name removed], [name removed] and [name removed] were so kind and patient.. with me, mom was excited for her new adventure. The staff are definitely called to this kind of service, from asking her what her favorite snacks are to have on hand when she wins at bingo to the comfort they give her when sundowners comes around, it’s made this part of the journey so much easier on us all. When hurricane Helene hit, they lost power, like many of us but worked around the clock to make lemonade out of lemons. I can Tell you without a doubt that Quillen is an extension of our family and we love them more than they will ever know!

My husband has Alzheimer's with dementia. He constantly wants to come back home, which is very hard. I physically couldn't care for him like he deserved. He was falling quite often, and I wasn't able to get him up. The staff encourages him to participate in their activities. They post pictures, so I was thrilled when I saw him playing a game with the group. They re would toss balloons up into the air using a big nylon cloth and then catch the balloons. I've felt very comfortable with him being there under their watchful eyes. They are truly a blessing. They even have a small dining area where we were able to bring in food and a cake to celebrate his 80th birthday.

There are some incidents and accidents in life when you are so grateful for help you didn’t know you would need: a plumber when that pipe broke; the electrician that returned your dryer to working order; a lawyer for the time you were wronged. So when my sister’s Alzheimer’s became too much for In-home care, there came A Place for Mom. With compassion and knowledge, helpful emails and an array of choices based on location and cost, they assisted me in narrowing down 7, then 4 and finally THE ONE: Chapman Manor. From the first phone call with [name removed], the marketing director, to my interview with her which included a thorough tour of the facility, I was very impressed and pleased. This was going to be a place for my sister and provide a tremendous peace of mind! The staff, especially [name removed], are both professional and highly skilled at what they do. With the recent hurricane, some extra staff stayed overnight to ensure the safety and comfort of the residents.

Grand Villa is only the third place I have ever lived. I went from my childhood home to married home and now to ALF home. The thing I like the best is the staff is very caring. Made me feel right at home even during Covid and right after I had lost my husband. From the minute I got here, everyone was so kind and nurturing and encouraged me to reach out to my sons even when I didn't want to. They allowed me to make decisions for myself and didn't push me out of my comfort zone. A lot of very good people from staff to other residents. Best decision I could have ever made.

I'm a resident and love it here. The staff are so friendly and the managers really care about us. Activities are great, food is good. Housekeeping keeps my room nice and clean. The decor of the community is beautiful.

I am truly impressed with the staff as they have all been very sweet and understanding with us and my Mother. They have went above and beyond when an issue has risen or if we simply have questions. Before we moved her in the facility we looked at several locations in the surrounding counties and my Sister and I both were really impressed with Wellington and we continue to be surprised at how much Mom says she loves it there and we know that we made the right choice.

My mother was a resident for a very short time; but during that time I was very happy with the care that she received. Her room was a good size for her and the staff were very friendly. My family and I enjoyed spending time with her there.I would recommend Sumter Terrace to anyone looking for an assisted living facility for a loved one.
