Wonderful place!!!

We're pleased with how things have gone with Lockwood of Waterford so far, I'd give them top marks across the board. It's clean, the staff are all very friendly and personable, and from what I have heard they do a good job with the food here!

My dad has been living here since April and we love it! Lockwood has far exceeded all of our expectations. Cleanliness, friendliness of the staff and value had a major impact on our decision. I live in Novi and don't mind driving the extra miles knowing that my dad is in the best possible place. I would strongly recommend Lockwood to anyone looking for a senior living community.

We are pretty happy with them so far. They are clean and friendly and attentive. We are a little disappointed in the food. It is repetitive, it could use a little more variety, it doesn't taste bad though. I liked the gal Michelle that was showing us around, and that they were very friendly. The location and the price were good for us. The price was right for us. They'r pricing is sort of an a la carte, and you could pick what you needed.

We just moved my mom into Lockwood of Burton and we love it. It is a very pretty facility with lots of specialized activities. The employees are friendly and so are the residents. They have a lovely dinning room where they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a fee. They have a movie room, craft room, beauty parlor, exercise room, computer room, library, and a small store. They also have a medical office staffed twenty-four hours a day by the Medical Team. It is a great retirement apartment community.

She makes her own meals, but we did eat there for some of the holiday events. We chose them because of their location in conjunction to a shopping center within walking distance, and their willingness to help her find a place in there and figure out the financial side of things. With places like this they get grouped in with nursing homes, and it's nothing like a nursing home. It's completely independent she comes and goes as she wants but there is security and that is what we needed. Try these places out go visit and talk to the other residents see what they think. She is happier than we have seen her in years.

My Mom is on the waiting list for an apartment at Lockwood of Waterforde. I believe that she will be very happy their. Thank you for your help.

Lockwood was excellent. We loved it there and they really have a great program. It was very very well worth the money. There were lots of activities and things to do but my mom just got to the point where she needed more care. She was not able to live on her own anymore. They did take really good care of her but Lockwood is independent living and it got to the point that mom really needed to be in assisted living.

The customer service and wonderful community. Im so glad we picked this out as a family! Mom and Dad love it and so does the family!

Lunch and dinner. Weekly housekeeping, personal laundry, linen service and trash removal. Gas, Electric & Water included. 1 BD for D&E $2881. Have Medical Team services ala cart.

My mom is settling in nice. Everyone has been super friendly and helpful. Her only complaint is the 4:15 dinner.

The staff has been helpful, the food is "ok". It's not bad, just mediocre. The facility is clean and the apartment size is ample. Unfortunately the salon is not open very often so that has not been helpful. The company they partner with for PT has been great.

My parents like Like Lockwood of Burton. No real negatives. My dad says they don't give you enough portions for dinner, but that's my dad. I've eaten there for dinners, and I thought it was good. They are painting the entryway, and they have painted the dining room. One of the elevators is not working, but they are working on it. Overall, I believe they are happy.

Truthfully, Lockwood lacks amenities like a swimming pool or an exercise room but it has plenty of heart. The staff are warm and friendly. They are always eager to please and the fact that they have been here for years demonstrates their commitment. My husband & I have a large 2-bedroom apartment that is very reasonably priced. We do not have a meal plan but we can buy meal tickets to use anytime we're tired of cooking. The food is well prepared, with generous portions. For the past month, the interior has been undergoing renovations (painting, replacing flooring, etc.) and the workmanship is high quality. We've enjoyed living here. Now, if they could do something about the weather...

I enjoyed the staff, the location and the residents. I felt very welcomed when I arrived. All of my questions were answered. The only thing I didn't like was the pay washers and dryers but I do understand that this is a way to bring down the cost for all residents. I am choosing between 4 locations of which 2 are on on A Place for mom and 2 are not. Thank you for your assistance.

My parents love it. They feel very safe there. The food is great. Staff is very friendly. They offer several outings and indoor activities. Maintenance is pretty good. Not very prompt. All in all they live it

Staff was friendly. Place was clean appearing. Some of the services were great for some. I personally don’t want someone else doing my laundry. I want to do it myself. In a few years I may change my mind. I feel I’m not a good fit for this place yet.

Friendly, energetic staff, clean facility, talented chef. I miss having a gym and pool on-site but both are a short drive away.

My father fell in love with the place at the tour, [name removed] was very welcoming, so was the residents. Very friendly. My father is still hospitalized and hasn't had a chance to enjoy living here yet. I just have his place set up whenever he comes home.
