My mother lived at Lockwood of Fenton for just over 2 ½ years. During that time, she made many new friends and tried new activities. My mother often told her friends and family that moving to Lockwood was one of the best decisions she every made and she was very happy there. From a family perspective, we took comfort in knowing that she was in a safe environment and socializing with the residents, rather than being isolated in her prior home. In addition, Lockwood was able to provide services, such as transportation to popular stores in the area, three healthy meals a day, housekeeping, and laundry services, that she could no longer do herself. As her health declined, the in-house Medical Group was able to step in and provide assistance, care, and guidance. Lockwood personnel, Medical Group staff, and Medical Hospice supported our family in those last months and days of my mother’s life and we will never forget their genuine concern, caring, and comfort. With the help of Lockwood and the Medical Group, we were able to honor our mother’s wish to remain in her apartment during those last days.

My mom has lived at Lake Huron Woods for almost 3 years and she loves it here. She loves the activities, the food and the staff. Everyone is so thoughtful and caring. She says it is like living on a cruise ship. She loves the buffets!

BEST decision my parents ever made! LHW always looks and smells great! There's always something for them to do. They love the food in the dining room and enjoy getting pampered every week by getting their laundry done and apartment cleaned. Great staff! Everyone is always helpful and is always out enjoying mingling with the residents. Two thumbs up!!

My 87 year old mother has been at Lockwood for one month. First day, multiple residents made an effort to say hello and make her feel welcome. She now plays bingo every chance she gets and has even gone to exercise class a few times! Plus - she is getting invited to play cards. Staff has been helpful and very kind. A relief for my mom (and us) that she has someone around at all times. Nice that she will be able to age in place. So grateful that we could get her in at Lockwood of Fenton!

It looks great and very clean. I think my mother will be happy there and it is close for me to be there at least 3 times a week.

It was very nice. As you might expect from a place like that people had been there for many years and had cliques. She had a difficult time making friends. She was very lonely. The apartments were wonderful, the food was good and the staff was very friendly. It was not fault to Lake Huron Woods it just wasn't a good fit for my mother.

My mother recently moved into this community had she is excited. They were so nice, and they had a one bedroom apartment available which is what she wanted. It is a month to month contract, and so far they have been wonderful.

It has been a good experience for us here at this community. My mother is still adjusting, but so far she is doing well. They have lovely staff, everybody has been very helpful and friendly. They offer nice activities, she enjoys the exercise program and bingo. For the most the meals are good. She seems happy here, and I'am pleased. It has worked out well for us here so far. Overall this is a community I would recommend.

I really like the community the staff is very good. It is clean and up-kept. I would like for the community to start offering food services. It would be nice if i didn't have to cook . I would recommend it to a family or friend.

It's nice. It's a nice facility. I would give them a five so far.

My parents has been there for 2 months. When they moved in we were advised they would hang my parents plaques and pictures and it has been 2 months and they have not done it. Before my parents moved in they assured us it would be clean when they moved in, the kitchen area was not clean.

Krista was an incredible presenter. Her knowledge, flow and presentable materials was second to none. The facility and the guests were very friendly and accommodating. The 1 bedroom was perfectly sized, had a very functional kitchen, nice wash room with a seated shower, low pile carpet that will be easy to walk over and not trip, terrific free space inside and out to mingle with the other guests and located in a secluded green space area with plenty of wildlife. Loved the property and amenities. Highly recommend.

I have had a very good experience with Lockwood of Waterford and would very highly recommend them. They made it very easy for me to work with them. They contact me proactively to follow up. They are very professional, friendly, thorough, and knowledgeable. Everybody that I have met there has been very friendly. I like how clean the place is. Every time I have been there I have gotten the same really good impression.

Really appreciate the sense of community. The staff is warm, friendly and cares. I would highly recommend this place for my mom.

I think they do a wonderful job at Lake Huron Woods. The facility itself is beautiful, well kept, and clean, and they have a lot to provide for their residents. The food is good, and they take care of all of the housekeeping and laundry. They're able to provide all of the medical assistance that my loved one needs. The residents here really don't have to worry about a thing!

We're pleased with how things have gone with Lockwood of Waterford so far, I'd give them top marks across the board. It's clean, the staff are all very friendly and personable, and from what I have heard they do a good job with the food here!

My dad has been living here since April and we love it! Lockwood has far exceeded all of our expectations. Cleanliness, friendliness of the staff and value had a major impact on our decision. I live in Novi and don't mind driving the extra miles knowing that my dad is in the best possible place. I would strongly recommend Lockwood to anyone looking for a senior living community.

We are pretty happy with them so far. They are clean and friendly and attentive. We are a little disappointed in the food. It is repetitive, it could use a little more variety, it doesn't taste bad though. I liked the gal Michelle that was showing us around, and that they were very friendly. The location and the price were good for us. The price was right for us. They'r pricing is sort of an a la carte, and you could pick what you needed.
