My mother-in-law was a resident of this community up until her recent death. I can not say enough about Ruth’s House. The staff is so friendly and caring. Mom would say that they treated her like a queen. The chef knew what to prepare her if she did not care for that night’s selection. Everyone knew her and us by name. I asked her once if she pressed her button after a fall. She told me she didn’t have to-four staff members heard her and rushed in. The community is always clean; and the residents are always happy and well cared for. We are so grateful to have found Ruth’s House.

My mother-in-law, [name removed], recently passed away. She was a resident at Ruth’s House until her passing. She felt that the staff treated her like a queen. Ruth’s House is an incredible place. The staff took their time to learn about [name removed] and her needs. The Chef went out of her way to prepare meals that she would like and be able to eat. She especially enjoyed the wide variety of activities. When my mother-in-law fell, four aides were in her room before she had a chance to push her button! [name removed] referred to the aides as her “friends”. She would always say that is my friend, she helps me. If you are looking for a caring, compassionate, family-oriented place that provides excellent care, look no further. [name removed]

Very happy with the facility. Very happy with the Activity Staff. They engaged my mother in activities and trips. This is the happiest I have seen her. I can never get a hold of her because she is always out of her room having fun.

The activities are a five plus at this community. Our loved one is totally engaged, she is completely happy. The activities are amazing she is always smiling and so on versus the previous community she was at, she was so withdrawn.

I would suggest Kaplan Estates, and have brought it up to friends who are asking. My mother is happy and everything seems to be working out well for her. Due to COVID they are allowing 2 people for one hour each week to visit. This allows my mother to get out to see us and for us to see her. We have to maintain the six feet difference. My mother has a land line and we are always calling her to visit.

Every time I visit, everything is very clean. My mother is always happy as far as whether or not things like carpets or tables were clean. If she ever has an issue, then maintenance is right there to help. The staff is very friendly and very helpful, especially through the Covid-19 pandemic. The staff is always taking good care of my mother. Previous to the pandemic, they had a variety of activities available for the residents to participate in. Their communication with the families is also very good. They send us letters every week letting us know what's going on and what they're doing next.

This community was similar to another that we liked. It has activities, friendly staff, a good atmosphere. After exploring out options this was not the most closest place to the family.

Many living area upgrades, plenty of space for family and friends to visit. Several living choices, nice dining areas, many perks for residents. There is also a Day facility nearby. As a side note, this is an all Kosher Community. Pricing is reasonable for the services and amenities offered.

She just gets impatient because they walk the residents back and forth to the dining room. Sometimes this takes awhile and she would like to get back to her room faster. I think everything is going well there. She has only been there for about 6 weeks, but everything is fine so far.

I really love this place. The staff is exceptional: they are extremely caring and highly professional. They truly go above and beyond. My mother is very happy here, and the transition was very easy for everyone involved. I would only say the food needs to improve. Otherwise, this place is great!

We really couldn't be happier with this place! Anything that needs attention the staff takes care of it happily and immediately. As an example when I was visiting Mom left her glasses in her room when we were down participating in an activity, and without our even realizing it a staff member overheard and walked up with her glasses a few minutes later! The nurses and aides are all incredible, we haven't had a less than stellar experience with anyone. All this and the price for their memory care was lower than others we had looked at in the area. I would recommend this location to anyone!

Very homey feel. Loved the activities, size of facility. Loved philosophy.

Kaplan was our first choice for memory care for my husband. I looked at numerous facilities and although other facilities were nice, Kaplan was the most transparent when it came to pricing. It is clean and the staff are very nice and they listen to any feedback I might have. My husband is happy there. Memory care is very expensive so my advice is do your homework to make sure it's the right fit.

I chose that place because they are one of the few that can transfer residents from memory care (pay out of pocket for spend down) to skilled nursing (paid by medicaid) in the same location. It made a horrible situation slightly easier by having this option. The place is nice and upkept, staff is friendly, but the care of the residents is questionable (greasy hair, unbrushed teeth, lost laundry, soaked mattress due to no mattress protector - which was supposed to be provided...), like any other elderly care housing

to anybody interested in the yellow vice Village you will be extremely happy and comfortable with everything about this place ! The staff is really special. The residence are so sweet and I am in my glory staying in this place thank you, God.

When it comes to the value for cost we are going with a 3 overall rating because we are paying so much between 2 families, but we only want my dad in the best place. He really is comfortable at Kaplan Estates Legacy unit. Thank you so much!

I am currently a resident at Edelweiss Village and everything has been very good for me at this facility so far. The cleanliness and friendliness are great! The staff, care services, food and value for cost are good. The activities are okay. A 'rebel' might not enjoy the attention. I would recommend Edelweiss Village for most elders, not for most rebels though. However, it's a decent choice for most.

This facility is pretty good. The staff is a mix, some are really good and others are just ok. But I know that happens everywhere. The front desk staff are really nice and helpful, they're always kind and pleasant. Overall, it's been a good experience. There have been some problems, but nothing that can't be worked out. The adjustment was hard at first, but it's getting much better. The Director of Nursing is open and willing to talk, so that's been helpful. Communication with the family is good when I call, but they don't reach out to me, even when I've felt like they should for certain things. Especially for an emergency situation, which thankfully worked out okay for my dad. The food is really quite good, portions are a little small I think. But it's good overall. The dining room looks very nice. It's very clean and the residents seem to be enjoying themselves. They offer a wide variety of activities. They post the activity schedule in the elevator and also hand things out daily about the activities. They do outings as well. I would recommend them to family and friends.

My loved one loves the food. My loved one has not utilized the activites but they have a list of dailiy activites. The cost is expensive but its a real nice place. It's cheery and very inviting. I would recommend to other families.
