I am so thankful for the people at Magnolia Glen. My parents have been here for 2 years. It was very hard to make the move into a community, but it has made all the difference. My parents now call Magnolia Glen home and I look forward to all the fellowship, good food and safety. I can't wait till I can retire and move it.

It was a wise choice that we choose M.G. to spend this phase of our life. The whole environment is providing us with a pleasant and exhilarating experience. Ultimately, our goal was to find a community that would meet our personal and social needs, including a home like atmosphere - we have found that here at Magnolia Glen.

I toured this community in April of 2019. Before visiting Magnolia Glen I visited 5 other places. This was the only places where employees were happy and the people I met with took the time to learn about my mother. The other places never took the time to learn about what was important to us. I stayed for lunch and the food was fresh and well presented.

Our family feels fortunate to have found the Magnolia Glen. The facilities, the staff, the food, the beautiful landscaping all contribute to creating a beautiful, relaxing and safe home for our mother. I would encourage anyone to consider Magnolia Glen for themselves or a family member.

I am a home care professional that provides services to assisted living residents at Magnolia Glen. This is the cleanest, well staff and resident focused assisted living in Raleigh and I visit almost all of them. They have 4 out of 4 possible star ratings. I would put my mom here.

I witnessed the compassionate care delivered to my aunt in the assisted living community at magnolia glen for 6 years. They were always attentive and they have the best employees. Everyone is prfessional. I am not looking to have my father move int hte Assited Living. #1 place in Raleigh.

My mother has easily made the transition to Independent Living @ MG. She loved it and I'm so happy that she is making new friends and doing lots of activities. My brother moved to assisted living in March '19. He has Parkinson's Disease which presents both physical and mental challenges. It's not easy for [name removed]. I sleep easier knowing [name removed] is safe and well cared after. Nurses [name removed] and [name removed] have been very helpful, understanding and supportive.

My mother moved into Magnolia Glen Assisted Living when she became unable to live alone. The staff was very welcoming and inclusive from the moment she arrived. We both appreciated seeing the friendly faces of the caregivers everyday, with very little turnover. Mom became friendly with other residents, and enjoyed many of the activities offered. She is no longer with us, but I will never forget the loving kindness shown by the staff at Magnolia Glen

My Dad has lived at Magnolia Glen for 2 years. He has had a wonderful experience. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The residents are lovely people. It is very clean. He has thoroughly enjoyed his life at Magnolia Glen

We recent;y moved my mother in law from FL to Magnolia Glen and all are very happy! Her studio apartment is beautiful and very spacious. The dining room is very cheerful and staff and chef work diligently to accommodate requests. Menu and good are amazing! Many social rooms (library, pub sym, living room, big screen tv, etc) as well as activities, hair salon, trips are always available and encouraged. Grounds and walking paths are gorgeous! Most importantly, is the wonderful care and amazing staff.

After a lot of research, I moved to Magnolia Glen a year ago. I have found the references were true! The caring and friendliness of the staff is really great!! They actually look after you. Everything needed is provided with a good attitude! Every thing you will ever need is provided plus many programs, trying movies, educational programs etc. The administration is involved also. He is the best and he runs a tight ship!! Everyone loves it here. Wonderful and caring management!

Our mother came to live at Magnolia Glen three years ago after a very short stay at another assisted living facility that proved to be unsatisfactory to our mom and us. She chose to live in assisted living because of challenges with her eyesight. Magnolia Glen has been the most wonderful place our mother could have been. From the first contact with the sales director we knew we had chosen the right place. Every staff member is professional, personable, knowledgeable and consistent. The executive director, assisted living nursing director, RNs and CNAs are top knotch. The facility is always clean, orderly and secure. The food is so good with a varied menu of fresh, healthy foods. Our family has had the most peace of mind during the past three years knowing that our mother was in such good hands at Magnolia Glen. Unfortunately we had to move her to a nursing home because of health needs. There will never be another Magnolia Glen for Mom and our family. It is such a well run facility.

The minute we walked into Cedarwood we knew it was a happy, well-run community. It wasn't just the good vibes---for so many reasons it felt like home. My loved ones have enjoyed meeting the other residents, at various functions, at church, walking the grounds and in the dining room. [name removed] makes the dining room a pleasant and delicious experience. The maintenance staff is always responsive and the desk staff do not just do their jobs...they are friends. [name removed] fills the residence with his energy and humor and makes living at Cedarwood an exciting experience. It's family! Everyone is invited to participate and be heard. I attended a meeting with the residents and the contractors who were going to be working on the remodel. I walked into the dining room with my mother and they were handing out plastic hardhats to everyone!!! The feeling is that we are all in this together. I appreciate the respect and kindness that has been shown to my loved-ones, Thank you Cedarwood!

My mother lived in the independent living area of the community for many years. After several falls, we made the decision to move her to the assisted living area and have been more than happy. The aids are so attentive and they have no issues with turnover or staffing. I wish I would have made this move sooner. My mother is so happy with this big change and I couldn't imagine have my mother anywhere else.

Love this community! Happy residents and staff. Remodel is well on it's way and Will be beautiful when completed.

We considered this facility for my dad-in-law's assisted living needs because my mother had once lived here in their independent living before needing to be moved to a memory care facility, and she and our family enjoyed it. The food served here is really good, to the point where my young daughter even got excited to eat with grandma here. [Name removed] was willing to try to get my dad-in-law in on very short notice (nursing home was discharging him withing 48 hours because Medicare stopped paying after a month, but nobody told us about the one-month limit). However, it would have taken several days to process as Valencia Terrace is thorough on making sure apartments are ready for move in. We ended up going with another facility that was better for his financial situation anyway and gave him a larger room for the price. But if your loved one can afford Valencia, it is worth it. It is newer, beautifully decorated, has the aforementioned great food, and is one of the few places that comes with a swimming pool that they would also let visiting family members use. They are very good at scheduling activities for the residents, including ones that include family members, especially during holiday times.

Loved this community but it located farther from family than we wanted. The ratio of CNA's to residents in the assisted living plus is better than I've seen at other places I've looked at.

From the places I've visited, this is the best one. They're very friendly. We has lunch there and it was delicious! I attended an event there and a lot of resources were provided.
