They are ill prepared for emergencies and progression of illness. The rooms were nice.

The grounds are beautiful and I bet this is a nice option for seniors without medical issues. However, this was a horror show for my loved one with medical complexities. This facility is not equipped to provide care for residents that need nursing care. There are a few staff member that are there for the right reasons but most are cold, don’t want to be questioned, incredibly unprofessional, cruel, uncaring, not compassionate… I wanted this to be a place for my loved one to be cared for with kindness and dignity. They humiliated my loved one, let my loved one sit and suffer and then blamed the family. The executive management is inappropriate, unprofessional and aggressive. What an absolutely horrid experience this was for our family. Think twice. There are other options.

Patient care is a zero. The staff has NO COMPASSION for their residents. Its alarming. The nursing staff is horrifyingly rude to family members. They are not truthful about resident care. The place is pretty and maintained, but if your loved one has any medical complications, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

As you can see, we were very unhappy with All American. We spent tens of thousands for less than two months! Entering there they woo'ed us and once my mother was a resident, radio silent. They promised therapies immediately and she never received one. They actually called us after we removed her. After. She was there 6 weeks! Would never recommend them and I voice that every chance I get to people who ask and on social media.

My mom was a Merryvale assisted living in Covington Georgia and that was the worst place my mom have ever lived the executive director is so cold hearted she doesn't care about the residents at all she talks about the residents to the staff and the facility has roaches and the kitchen staff doesn't wear nets my mom found hair in her food and I went to talk to the executive director about it and she was very rude

Overall experience was not good. We explained Mom's level of need, was told no problem we can accommodate. It was an absolute fabrication. Mom never even received her necklace (to call for help) for over two weeks. Anytime I called to speak with someone, I left messages with no call back. And she was supposed to be in PT. We called multiple times to see when she would be evaluated (was told that would happen immediately after arrival). Want to know when they called us to just evaluate her? Two weeks after we removed her!!! The original person who was SO attentive taking our money, never spoke to us again. She was left to fend for herself multiple times. We left after a month. Would never recommend that place to anyone. They want your money and that's it.. Actually seems clean. But I never ventured around outside Mom's room. Friendliness of staff? Could never find anyone to speak with. When it come to the quality of care I'd go lower if your scale let me. There is no level of care. If you're able bodied, I'm sure it could be okay. If you need assistance, you're out of luck. I brought her in food constantly. She was brought sandwiches. Nothing really good. Never attended activities. The overall value for cost - absolute zero. For one month, we spent a ridiculous amount of money. And when I pulled Mom from there, they sent me bills for unknown services. Even when I asked about them (that were never mentioned/indicated in the contract), I received no answers. I didn't pay those. I assume they were ways to pad their pockets, because they haven't charged me for those again. Be smart enough to question every charge.

We placed our mom in their dementia care July 2021. Her sheets were not changed for a month. We were told they wash them and put them back on the same day. We finally left a tissue in a pillowcase and after a week it was still there. Also they let my mom suffer witha terrible oozing yeast infection under her breast. It was noted in her medical records that she was prone to that. They told us they checked her (and all the ladies) regularly. Obviously not. We filed a formal complaint with the Executive Office of Elder Affairs. Anyone can request a copy through the freedom of information act. We did not want to write this review. We hoped the EOEA would handle it. But after all this time we have little faith that has happened

The building has nice aesthetics but the care is deplorable. Not just because they lack staff but because the staff they do have lack empathy, compassion and some do not know simple respect for residents or their families. The portion sizes for food is not enough to feed a child let alone an adult. Very disappointed. They promise services they are not equipped to offer.

We were not happy with all American assisted living. We did feel like they sold us a bill of goods that did not come through. The whole experience was terrible. None of the things they said they would do were done. They told us [name removed] would have physical therapy, that never happened. Some of the staff were rude to both our loved ones we were very clear in our beginning interview of what [name removed] needs were, and they seem to totally ignore them. We told them she would need somebody to come in at like 10 AM to wake her up if that was what was needed, help her to get to the commode and get washed and dressed. That never happened either Food was good but not great. Unfortunately my loved ones were able to participate in the activities. But they were very much aware of all of the activities that they would be able to participate in if they chose to do so The amounts that we initially were told would be the cost didn't seem to pan out. It seemed like there was additional costs added on to their bill which eventually price them out of the place they couldn't afford the 11 to 12 grand a month that the AAA L was asking for. We are there right now, for his senior living is a little bit more reasonable at all American. They considered [name removed] a level four which meant four times $750 per level so it was like an additional $3000 a month that wasn't the deal when we went in there and they knew they had done an assessment of her so they knew what her problems were, that didn't seem to matter. So I guess overall it's a draw there were some really bad things that I thought were unfair, but there were other things that I couldn't fault them on.

We were expecting a wonderful experience for our family member. The staff was lovely when we visited. We were treated like royalty. However, after move in, everything changed. The office people weren't friendly anymore to our family or resident. We noticed many people sitting around sleeping in the open areas. It looked like a nursing home I stead of independent and assisted living. The quality of the food was poor. I wouldn't recommend this facility.

Very disappointed in the memory care unit. Extremely understaffed. Patients are not getting the attention and treatment they deserve. Meal time is atrocious. Not enough staff to help them cut their meals and eat, not enough drinks available while they are eating, etc.

I was in contact with the facility and asked them specifically about the hoyer lift due to my experience with Brookdale Florham Park. They too will not accept incoming residents that require that level of care.

Poor impression upon disembarking in front. Heavy handed salemanship. 'I don't want to scare you, but ***,' then proceeded to try to scare my mom. Too expensive. Assisted-living services are included in price whether they are needed or not. Not at all an appropriate place for an independent, healthy senior. Presentation was so bad mom refused to visit any other provider. One star is too many.

The place is brand new---still being worked on I didn't think my wife could relax with all the work going on and the new staff just learning their jobs

Nurses and LNAs very kind and helpful when available. The care for my mother was great. Management is terrible and seems to care more about numbers/business than they do about providing enough staffing for care. Disappointing as the place is beautiful but can’t seem to provide enough people to assist the amount of people they have living there.
