We were not the biggest fan of the location. You walk in and it is absolutely beautiful, they have a big grand entrance. But immediately what we saw was a lot of residents in wheelchairs. The assisted living and independent living residents are mixed so it just has a whole different feel to it and that is not what my mom was looking for.

We chose All American because we were super impressed with the facility itself, the way it looked, the cleanliness, the food, and the staff seemed wonderful. I think they could improve on their communication with the family members.

We have had some issues with the care team, and some of the staff is very friendly and some not so much. However when we were having our issues it was happening during a change in management so that could of been the reason why. Our loved one does say the meals are not the best, the quality is just not very good. We picked this community because its clean and fairly new and the price was good compared to others in the area.

This facility was converted from a nunnery, which I found to be very interesting. But the rooms were small, and the bathrooms weren't very big either. Everything had been redone and looked brand new, but it was kind of plain. The price was higher than other places we looked at. I found it strange that the lobby had only chair, and the overall presentation when you walked in wasn’t that great. This one we thought was just okay.

This community wasn't the right fit for my loved one. This is because of the shared common space. To assist with the lower cost you must share a bathroom and a common area, and this just didn't work for us. I think the caregivers cared for the residents while we were there. They have physical and occupational therapy on site which was great for the residents that needed it. There is a high turnover of staff at this community, and others. The additional concern was the distance from family.

My loved one was not there for long and we were happy that they allowed my loved one to stay while in hospice. Everything went well however, there were several items stolen from my loved one and me while there. My mothers jewelry and personal id documents were stolen.

Our family was able to tour this community in person, however due to the covid restrictions we were not allowed inside but we could only be outside. We were able to look through the windows and everyone we encountered was friendly.

Proceed with caution at this community. Shortly after arriving they moved my loved one to a different unit. The caregivers would forget to give my loved one their hearing aids. My loved one was always in other resident's clothes when we visited. It appeared the staff weren't taking care of my loved one. There were some good things about the community as well.

We haven't been able to visit since March due to COVID, however we do know they have bingo and arts and crafts session, but we wish they would offer more activities to the residents for them to participate in. We do wish they would have a better way of getting snacks to the patients, most of the time the snacks are scarce.

We chose this community because of the price and location. If your loved one is not used to speaking up for themselves, the staff can be rather abrupt sometimes. Once you run out of money, you have to find another place to live. My loved one has since moved out to a different facility. I was not pleased.

The communication could be a little bit better when it comes to the care services.We feel that when we do call there, someone should always answer the phone but that is not always the case. Half of the time we do not receive call backs which is frustrating. We do love the activities director she absolutely amazing. They would have entertainment groups come in to sing, as well as a wonderful exercise program. The just made a change within the past few months with the food, at first it was disgusting and now it is much better. My mom loves her room, she has a twin bed with a recliner and a desk. Its pretty spacious. The price of this community is reasonable compared to the other communities in the surrounding area. When you drive up to the front of this community is absolutely beautiful. It was a bunch of flowers surrounding the whole front area, its very pretty in the fall, spring and summer.

Did not see facility as they do not yet have their CO. Marketing office at another location with no sample rooms. From presentation price seemed reasonable as it was all inclusive for basic care including room, food, activities, giving medication, any transportation.

The stay is going fairly okay, but my loved one is looking to go home soon. She is not satisfied with the fact that she is cooking her own food but has to pay for the dining meal plan, or the fact that she has to pay an activity fee but she does not prefer to participate. It is not very cost effective at all at this point.

I had a nice tour of this community. Everything went well, and everyone was kind. The staff I met was friendly, and answered any questions I had. From what I saw the facility looked well-kept. The experience went well overall, but I did find another community that suited our needs better.

My experience is pretty fair so far with all that is available to me. With time I will get use to everything and the environment of the community. They are nice and they do what they can do to help you and that is important to me. I am content with living in the community.

My mother seems to have adjusted well to the community. We have had our problems, but they are trying their best to work with us. They have changed her medication and her doctor with our knowledge, I was not happy with that. There are some activities offered, but not as much as I like. Most of the staff is very helpful. She does like it here. She enjoys the company of her roommate. Overall I do feel she being cared for well.

I have been a little bit disappointed in Bentley Commons at Bedford . They said they have a doctor on call 24 hours a day but actually you have to make an appointment and it's not always available. Mom was having a terrible time with medication upsetting her stomach and it took me intervening to get things resolved. They say do all of these things and they don't live up to it. I expected a lot more care especially given the price. In the speech they gave us at the beginning they said the staff would respond to them pushing a button. Well, my husband had to go there just to resolve simple issues like fixing the TV. They are supposed to do a thorough cleaning and it's hard to tell that they have done that. My mother was not getting a shower because she didn't want to and the staff weren't pushing her to. The facility is very pretty. The food is repeated a lot. I don't see a lot of socialization going on. Overall I am just not getting what was promised to me.

Bentley Commons is a low key, very friendly place to live....They have an excellent activities schedule. The food is O K at best, but it is filling.
