Juniper Communities

Our experience with Juniper Village has been a very positive one! The people here are friendly and professional, and the facility itself is very nice! They don't have any sort of lockdown area if your loved one has wandering issues, but for regular assisted living they're an excellent choice!

Brookdale is a wonderful place. The day I brought my Dad to visit we were greeted by a gentleman who is an "ambassador", which is a person who lives at the facility. Right away my Dad felt comfortable knowing there was someone he could relate to. The staff is amazingly friendly and professional. The rooms are clean and spacious. The food is very good and they have 2 different seatings for lunch and dinner. The grounds are beautiful and the staff is very responsive to any of your needs. I would highly recommend Brookdale for anyone who is considering assisted living.

Everything is working out very well for my mother at this community. She has adjusted very well to it and we are very pleased. The community is pretty well-kept. The staff has been very welcoming and helpful. They are very accommodating and attentive as well. She is trying some new activities, she has many to choose from. She likes the food, and I've tired it and the meals are very nice. They are caring for her very well and I recommend it.

I am so glad that A Place for Mom helped me in locating Juniper Village. This was a good fit for my mom. She has settled in and she stays busy with the activities offered as well as going to shop. She also signed up to see a play and she enjoys attending church at the community. The building and grounds are well maintained. The food is ok and even though she struggles with eating the wonderful staff are there for her.

Brook was very nice and showed us the facility, which was recently rennovated...painted, new rugs, updated services, etc. They had two rooms available and right now has a great deal for May. The rooms are very neat and clean and the bathrooms brand new and spacious with walk-in tub, bars, and shower bench. Also helpful with the VA information and hospice is available when needed. Staff is visible.

We are beyond thrilled with my Mom care at Juniper Mt Joy. The staff is wonderful and cheerful, which helps all of us when these decisions for more care are being made. Mom is happy and loves the staff. We as a family highly recommend Juniper for your loved ones care, it is a paradise.

My mom lived in this community for 4 years. She recently passed away, sadly. However, I must say, the staff at Juniper were extremely close to her and some even attended her services. She loved every second she spent here.

My mom is 100 1/2 years old, and in the last 5+ years that she has been living at The Inn at Brookline's Juniper Village, her eyesight and hearing have been failing. All the staff, including administration, nursing, activities, kitchen, servers and aides, etc have all been kind, flexible, and supportive. The people make the place!

So thankful for this community. My mom lived in Florida and I live in PA. I needed a safe place for my mom to move into that would provide daily activities, main meals, supervision, and love. Juniper has surpassed my expectations. Amazing activities 7 days/week, healthy meals, weekly cleaning (+ over-and-above love from Nancy) it is a place where everybody knows my mom's name. Peace for me!!

Before my husband's move to JV I toured 6 other homes. What set JV at Mt Joy apart was the smiles and eye contact of the staff and the residents. We felt it indicated a happy environment. JV at Mt Joy is a truly pleasant place to live; clean and well-appointed. But most important is the care my husband receives. His needs are anticipated and fulfilled with kindness. His call bell is answered promptly. We are very happy with our choice. Thank you to all the staff at JV at Mt Joy for the excellent care my husband receives.

The time came to be that Dad was not able to safely live by himself in his house. Local referrals indicated this facility was top-notch. Dad was reluctant to make the move, and at times still is, but he regularly remarks how clean and nice it is at this facility. We as family are more than pleased with the consistent level of care given to Dad. Truly a GREAT choice for us. Highly recommend this place.

Juniper Village is a very well-maintained senior care community. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. The nursing staff are caring and very friendly. The residents all seem to be happy and enjoy each others company.

I have entrusted the care of my mother to Juniper since 2008 and have been extremely satisfied with the dedication and professionalism of the staff. They are responsive to our questions and concerns and have gone above and beyond to work with her on a daily basis. A benefit that we appreciate is that the facility is an ideal size where families can get to know the staff and communicate with them easily. I feel comfortable knowing that she is being cared for by such patient, caring individuals.

Wonderful facility! My father has lived here for 3 years, and I have /never/ worried about him or the care he receives. The staff is exceptional - many have been there for 10 + years. Dad is treated like a person living in his home - rather than a patient. I highly recommend Juniper Village!

I have lived here since the week before Thanksgiving 2015. I am in the Assisted Care Living, as I needed rehab. My hips and legs were very weak due to a long stay in the hospital. The therapy I got was top notch, as I now use my walker and can walk short distances without it. The staff here are all great, and I was treated with utmost care. The activities are great, and there's lots to do! I will be leaving this month and I will miss ALL of my friends. I love them all.

Our family is so very pleased with the individualized care of our loved one. Everyone knows each resident by name, even if they do not provide direct care for the resident. We could not be happier, and have comfort and peace-of-mind knowing that our sweet Joan is being taken care of like a family member.

Good staff. My loved one is very happy to be here. Michele is a great asset to the staff. Always clean and never a bad odor.

The staff at Juniper is professional, caring and encouraging. Their compassion for my dad was evident from the first day. They have my deepest gratitude.

Things are going fine since my father has moved to Juniper Village. In fact my mother has now moved there as well. This community is just what we were looking for. My father is doing as well as I can hope for. The best thing is the attentiveness of the staff, not just the management, shich are wonderful. The staff is taking good care of him and are very capable from top to bottom. My father loves the activities, he participates in all of them, he really enjoys them. The food is good as well.
