Juniper Communities

From what we can see on the first floor everything is very clean and very beautiful. All of the staff members are nice and we do think they give great care services. We have not heard of any complaints from our loved one about the food, in fact she is doing much better there then she would be at home. The value is very reasonable and we cannot believe we are getting this good of care for the cost. They have been very accommodating, and when you come to visit they have a small room you are allowed to go into to. Also, if it is nice out you can sit outside around the small lake.

My loved one is happy here. My loved one has stated that the potions of the food are small and there are only two choices to choose from at meals and this is the reason for not enjoying the food. My loved one has stated there aren't activities available for them. The staff are very lovely. Brenda and everyone are wonderful people. It is very clean and a nice community.

Everyone I've met there has been cordial and friendly, and always smiling. I'm very happy with the place. The staff have been very helpful. They call you back on time. My loved one is fine, healthy, and looks great. It's clean there. The clothes get mixed up sometimes. But at least they're clean. And everyone seems to be happy. They do have activities going on - kickball, puzzles, magazines. They do a good job keeping her mind busy. The TV is on all the time, or they have music playing. I've heard 40s and 50s music. I was there the other day and they had Dick Van Dyke on.

I would recommend this community to others and already have. The communication between the staff and the family is good and they keep us updated.

The staff is friendly, courteous, and helpful. They have had a great covid plan and have kept the residence safe. The community is neat and clean. I would recommend this community to others.

The workers at Juniper Village are very kind, and helpful and provide professional and compassionate care to all the residents they serve. My Mom has been living there since the summer of 2020. I highly recommend Juniper Village for your loved ones!

My Mother has been at Juniper Village at Forest Hills for about a year. She broke her back and was no longer able to live alone. We started searching for a place where she would be happy and still receive the care that she needed. We were so happy to be able to find her an apartment at Juniper. The staff and associates went above and beyond to not only help her recover, but to make her happy and comfortable in her new home. They have many activities daily that keep her busy and socializing. With COVID this has been a very challenging year, but the entire staff has somehow found a way to keep the residence safe and still happy. My family is so grateful to all of these amazing workers. They have given my Mother an extended family, and helped our family through these troubling times.

There are so many positive things I can say about Juniper Village at Forest Hills. My mother was there for 2.5 years until her death. I was there virtually daily and got to see firsthand the caring professionalism of the staff. [names removed] set a wonderful tone. I could tell so many stories to highlight my experiences, but I will share just one. The final weekend of my mother’s life, she was in hospice care. The weekend nurse sent by hospice was not up to the standards we had always experienced at Juniper. Did my mother’s care suffer? Absolutely not. She received unbelievable end -of-life care. Again, the caring professionalism demonstrated by [name removed], with [name removed]'s guidance, ensured my mother and our family received the best care possible. I will never forget that and Juniper will always have a special place in my heart.

My experience with Juniper Village was absolutely positive. The care that they gave my mother was outstanding. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Thank you for everything.

While I do not have a loved one living at Juniper Village at Mount Joy, it would be my first choice if I needed a place for my dad to live. My connection with [names removed] is that they are members of the Mount Joy Chamber of Commerce and I am the Chamber Executive Director. Juniper Village at Mount Joy is very involved with the Chamber ([name removed] is on our board) and they support and sponsor community events through the Chamber. We just had Trick or Treat in Downtown Mount Joy/Businesses and Juniper Village at Mount Joy sponsored the candy for the Chamber and [name removed] helped all evening to distribute the candy to more than 600 children. All done while social distancing!! I personally have toured their facility and have had friends that have lived there and it is beautiful, clean and residents are well taken care of!!

I want to thank [names removed] personally for their listening ears and compassionate hearts as they walked our family through the process of the Personal Care admission for our loved one. We are so appreciative of you and all of your staff for taking such great care of all of your residents and also providing a fun and positive atmosphere during these difficult times. Every time I have been at Juniper Village I am so impressed with the care and compassion that the staff shows the residents. It truly is remarkable. There are always activities and interaction. Such a wonderful happy place.

Juniper Village provides excellent care to my wife. She has been there for 2.5 years and I've always felt her safely and well-being were in great hands. The staff are exceptional and have gone ways beyond expectations, especially during the coronavirus pandemic.

I sleep well at night knowing that my wife is safe and well taken care of.

The outside is kept very nice. My mom is always clean when I go see her. So far we are very satisfied with the precautions they are taking. We are happy with the way they are caring and treating for our loved one. The food has been good.
