Overall I think they do a good job at Sunrise at North Farmington Hills. The staff here are very friendly and accommodating. They're always open to suggestions or requests! The facility itself is well kept and clean, and they have a lot to offer the residents. The only complaint I have heard from my loved one is about the food, which she said could use work.

Things for the most part have gone very very well with Brighton Gardens. The food is excellent. Mom is safe and being taken good care of. I do wish that they had some more activities for mom to do. It has been really hard to get a good understanding of how everything works there. I would like to have a better working relationship with the staff there, and a process to get the residents and their families better introduced and acclimated. On the whole it has been a good experience and I'm planning on keeping mom there.

The staff is caring and very friendly. The facility is clean and brighter than others we have seen. We would like to get more than one shower a week without having to pay even more.

Things have gone well so far at Brighton Gardens of Northville! It's a nice facility, and they keep everything looking very clean and well kept. They've done an excellent job looking after my loved one, and have been very accommodating regarding his care needs, which can vary quite lot depending on the day. I'd like to see them improve the communication between their staff members, however. Often instructions that I leave won't get passed between shifts or caregivers.

Have only had my wife at this facility for 10 days, but feel we made the right choice. Care givers are attentive, food is great. A bit pricy but worth the money. My wife has a great room and I am comfortable that she will be taken care of.

Spoke with Kim, Patti assistant there are docs on call, monthly wellness checks by gerentologists. Residents can walk wooded grounds, near St. John's inn,there is a care mgr coordinator on site at all times so they can meet with us in the event Patti or Kim is unavailable. There is mass said every Wed on site by a retired priest with a nun also and every Sunday a bus drives residents to church .8 mile away. They have weekly outings to the mall, a restaurant, Kensington park to a boat ride. They have rooms with 3 floor plans, try to encourage residents to go to common areas. the studio apt is the most popular type. In the pricing the daily fee includes 3 meals with two seatings for lunch and dinner. There are snacks, pricing includes one shower per week and housekeeping.

I loved this place. It would have been perfect except the rooms very very small. We would have had to buy another bed for him. The kitchenette only had a dorm size frig under the cabinet. I would worry about him bending over and falling. Very honey though and a wonderful tour.

These communities are so overpriced. The hardest, most difficult thing was getting my loved ones moved in. The residents have to move in on a Monday, so I had to take a day off work. I’d like to see that policy changed. My loved ones seem to like the food.

They were nice and clean and friendly. They were a true assisted living, and we were looking for something a little more independent. The rooms here were smaller than what we wanted and were looking at in other places. They only had a kitchenette, not full kitchens. They were also a little more expensive, than if we went more independent.

My mother has been in their memory care neighborhood for just 2 weeks and is doing great. The staff if always friendly and helpful.

The only problem we've had here is that during meal times the response times for the in-room call buttons can be very long (Dad said he has waited up to an hour), since apparently the care staff also serve as the dining room staff. Other than that this is an outstanding community. It's well kept, clean, and the staff are very friendly and caring. They were able to take my parents in despite their differing levels of care, which was one of the main features we were interested in.

Wonderful, clean, friendly place. Rooms 'felt' small. Was hoping for a kitchenette, not just a mini-fridge.

This property is upscale and expensive. Michigan location is not an option.

Staff was wonderful, lots of activity, cats & dogs, very clean, needed their nurse to check on my dad's wounds to see how severe. Indicated they could handle dad's personality.

Director very nice and helpful. Remenicense house very depressing looking, hallways long and hotel-like. Assistive living area was nice, smell of urine at entrance. Staff seemed nice and attentive to residents.

The Director's mother in law lives here; she loves it and said it's very nice. need more info!
