Fairmont is a great establishment for Seniors with a range of needs including end of life. I would highly recommend to others for their loved ones. also the staff is caring and diligent and they are reasonably priced. they charge based on the level of care needed and then ensure they have the appropriate number and skill set of staff for everyone's needs instead of charging extra for every little thing above a certain level of care.

Excellent communication with nursing staff, Jan especially. I don't hear any comments that the food is bad...I've seen the menu printed up for lunch and dinner so you know what is offered. I know they offer shopping trips bowling and inside activities like bingo and people play card games etc.

My Mom spend 3 full days a week there with my Step Dad. The facility is clean, staff is friendly, activities are good, they had an Elvis impersonator singing which everyone enjoyed.

Fairmont is a very welcoming, family oriented community. The staff and residents are all friendly and supportive of each other. My mom enjoyed the food. My only concern was I felt more frequent check-ins during the night shift were needed in my Mom's case.

Daily staff, especially the nursing techs, are very pleasant and helpful. They show genuine care for our loved one. Only difficulty is getting a smooth establishment with paperwork/billing/etc correct.

The intake was fast and easy. [name removed] the director was very nice and compassionate. They had my dad moved within a few days. The facility is clean and up to date. The staff is very nice. The therapist and other doctors keep you updated on their care.

Staff overall kind and friendly, activities personal extremely personable, downside people with higher end medical needs might be better served elsewhere. They did make a effort to meet his medical needs, but they just don't seem to be able to deal with catheter issues well, he had to be transported to the hospital 4 times in the short time he was there.

The facility was without a van for transport when my Mom moved in so there were no offsite activities for several months. They do have a vehicle now so I'm guessing external activities will increase.

They really do care about the residents and try to be at their best everyday. As with all assisted livings, finding good qualified staff is very difficult these days. We were fortunate to have hospice as an additional level of care for my father during his time at Fairmont. My father passed away at Fairmont in [date removed]. He was there 4 months as he battled endstage Parkinson's and dementia

Overall, Fairmont of Farmington Hills is a beautiful facility , very well staffed and very clean and friendly. I wish it was less expensive, but I would recommend them to others.

My loved one has since passed on but what we like the most about Fairmont on Clayton was the staff. The staff was fantastic....very caring for both my husband and me and we would definitely recommend this community to other families based on the experience we had

The facility is well maintained recently did some renovations, There are daily activities and frequent outings, the cost is reasonable based on other facilities we toured. The only issues we have had is that it takes at times a significant amount of time for call lights to be answered and Mom has frequent falls so this is my biggest concern and with her dementia she doesn't always call for help so it would be nice to know she was checked in more frequently.

My mom was previously a resident at Fairmont of Westlake. There were a few things that weren't great, but otherwise it was a great fit for her for the short time that she was a resident.

We cannot rate the activities as [name removed] cannot/does not participate. Cleanliness.....there have been days when it looks like [name removed] room has not been swept. Friendliness of staff..... staff care compassionately and enthusiastically for me as well as [name removed], the staff are always interacting positively with the residents. Meals/dining.....variety, quantity, and flavor .Activities.....even though [name removed] has not been able to benefit from the activities available, the activity director and the activities seen when touring were very influential in selection of facility

The things that stuck out most about Fairmont of Farmington Hills over other places we had initially looked into was that the facility was clean, friendly people, staff are committed to quality care, and it is a good price for what is offered. The staff is very friendly and kind to the residents.

They took good care of my mom. They offered the following; Bingo, Pill mangement, nursing, and Physical Therapy. Fairmont was a wonderful place and thank you for the recommendation.

They're very good with communication. They call me any time she's had a fall or is ill. My loved one can be difficult. They do offer her what she needs, she just doesn't always accept it. They've been great with her, and I feel like we've made the best choice we can for her at this point in time. She seems to like the meals. They have activities every day. After looking at several places, I think it's a better value. They don't charge for every little single thing, it's more of a batched charge. And the location is really good as well. It has easy access on/off the highway.

I toured this facility and it went ok. They're transferring to new Ownership, so I'm sure there's going to be changes with that. As far as my tour, it went pretty good. Cleanliness and friendliness was good.

We chose Fairmont of Westlake because of the location but also after meeting with the staff we really clicked with them and thought they were all great. It is also a very safe and beautiful facility. We like that they offered a smoking area as well for the residents. The staff were awesome and very attentive. I would definitely recommend them to others, I think it is a great place to live.
