What we like the most about the community is their caring and professional staff and it is in a good location. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

I recently had the opportunity to tour the Fairmont Senior Living facility located in Washington and was very favorably impressed with both the location and the kind and knowledgeable staff. The location itself is in a family-oriented neighborhood enhancing the character and homelike feeling for their residents. I was equally pleased with the clean and bright building and rooms. The staff was friendly and knew their jobs well. Their care and concern for their resident’s health and welfare was readily apparent. Also, a special thanks to [name removed] for her hospitality and the wonderful tour.

Everything was really wonderful. It felt like a home -- cozy and really nice vibe that was along the lines of my mom's Ethan Allen furniture and homey touches. Her room itself felt very cozy and my sister was able to decorate it and make it very lovely. It was always nice and warm, and always very clean and smelled nice (all our family members noticed). She really loved the food -- when she could still communicate a bit she would tell us it was yummy, and for the first time in a while her appetite returned and she cleaned her plate... and she was always fairly particular about her food. The staff was incredible. The activities aspect of the facility was similarly amazing, and I think really outstanding and unique to Fairmont, based upon the anecdotal information I gleaned from friends going through this same experience, all over the country. My mom never had the experience of living in an apartment or dorm or any kind of situation like this, so my sister and I had some trepidation as to how she was going to react to being with this group of people in memory care. But she was fully in on all the activities, and loved them! At the beginning when she was still able to be physically normal and her speech was still understandable, she spoke of (and when we were there, showed us) all of the art projects, and music activities, and everything. She thought she was there at Fairmont to "work," and the staff and nurses were amazing in giving her "paperwork" and letting her be with them to "take notes," and things like that which just made us feel so great about her being there -- that the staff fully learned her personality and interests and understood what she was thinking / needing to be happy, and made it work very particularly and personally to her. I have not heard of any other experience by anyone else I know anywhere in the country where their loved one in memory care received that loving and intellectually connected attention and care. As her condition progressed, it was comforting to see how they adapted to what she was then needing -- to have a favorite baby doll to hold and care for, and baby / doll clothes to fold, and to listen to Elvis and 50s and 60s fun dance music. ?? She also loved that one of the nurses pretty much played "beauty shop" with the women and did their hair (as in cut it stylishly and curled it very attractively), put on makeup, and did their nails! That part was fun and funny -- since I live across country that particular nurse would FaceTime me (which multiple of the nurses did with me regularly / every few days) and my mom would show me her makeup and nails... like a sleepover / sorority party, lol. Also the Admin staff at Fairmont was outstanding. I need to give a shout out to them for helping my sister and me with every aspect of moving her there, making her comfortable, giving us info and helping with details about insurance, payment, and medical care.

They explained that the assistant living could come with nursing care. That was good news since my sister needed nursing care but didn't want to just have a room like a hospital room in a nursing home.

Fairmont was the best in everything. The staff was amazing and took such great care of Charlie. The staff is friendly and you can tell they love their job and residents

Loved the head caregiver and nurse, [name removed]and [name removed]. They each gave me their cell numbers to call or text anytime, and I did. They were great about addressing whatever the issue was right away. Everyone there was kind and loving. The medicine tech, the kitchen staff, all caregivers were all so great! Food was great... I never worried about dad.

It is very clean. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. There are lots of activities. Decorated very high class, everything updated.

I would definitely recommend. Would say that they are just easy to work with and really work hard to make sure your loved one is cared for. Very compassionate and caring staff.

My grandmother is flourishing in the memory Care unit. She has started eating again drinking again and seems to have a happier outlook on life despite her dementia. The staff cares for her very well and make sure that she is taken care of all her needs and her desires. I like that there are activities for our memory Care residents and I like The staff to patient ratio.

I just want to say that a place for mom was a a god send . I really didn’t know where to start to looking for a place in my mom income. I called fairmont inn all I can is they are the most amazing people . They so caring & kind. I really can’t say enough about them . I would recommend a place for mom & fairmont inn .thank you for all of your kindness will ever be in my heart.

Without question, it's the care and concern of the people who work there. They're phenomenal! They're always going out of their way to make sure the residents feel engaged and appreciated, such as doing the nails of the female residence once every week. They get everyone out for a meal or shopping every week, they're very good at communicating with me, and I just feel safe and secure knowing my mom is being cared for.

The staff. Bear in mind that my husband only lived there the last 12 weeks of his life, but every member of the staff cared for his needs, tried to provide special food or support when he could no longer eat, and went out of their way to make him comfortable as he came to the end of his life

Staff have longevity, kind and welcoming. Easy to talk to. Would definitely recommend to others. Administrative staff is Awesome! Especially [name removed], Director of Nursing, [names removed]

My mother was most concerned that she would not feel at home. The staff has not only made her feel at home but have also became like family to her. When visiting she always talks about her new adopted family and all the fun they have. The amount of peace that I receive knowing she is loved and cared for can never be explained.

My grandma has been living here for years. My grandpa passed away in 2016 and then my mother 2 months later and she had to move in here because she needed help. The place is very clean and my grandma likes it a lot. She just turned 99 years old and is doing great. I feel thankful for everyone there.

My son and I have attended a few Halloween and Easter parties and always have the best time. You can tell how much thought goes into it for the residences. The staff is always very friendly aswell. We will continue coming for special events. And would definitely suggest Fairmount to family and friends.

We had a family member in need of an Assisted Living and we toured several locations in the South Dayton Area. Fairmont Senior Living stuck out above the rest, due to the staff. The building is in a wonderful, quiet, safe location. The exterior and interior are very up to date and well kept. Our first interactions were with [name removed] , who was a pleasure to deal with. She was very direct and upfront towards all of our questions. You could tell she cared that our family member was going to have the right fit for their needs! The Care staff has been wonderful! [name removed] & [name removed] arity have been with the community for YEARS, which is comforting to know! We feel comfortable knowing they are responsible for the care of our loved one. The rest of the staff (front desk, maintenance, kitchen, activities, office) have always been welcoming with a smile on their faces. I am incredibly grateful for the exceptional care and activities provided at Fairmont. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were welcomed by a warm and friendly team of staff members who truly care about the well-being of each resident. The community offers a variety of engaging activities that cater to my mother’s interests and abilities, which has helped her maintain a sense of independence and joy. There’s always something to keep her stimulated and involved. The social events are a wonderful opportunity for residents to connect and build friendships, and I’ve seen how much it lifts my mother’s spirits. Not to mention how much she loves the activity director, [facility removed]! The staff go above and beyond, not only meeting her physical care needs but also fostering a caring and compassionate environment that makes her feel safe and valued. It's reassuring to know she’s receiving such high-quality attention.

Overall the staff is very attentive and friendly. Meals are good. Activities are numerous and scheduled 7 days a week. Facility is clean and well maintained inside and out.

Everyone I’ve spoken to are caring and exhibit excellent customer service. The caregivers work hard to ensure the residents socialize, are clean and comfortable and have proper nutrition. Staff is willing to make reasonable accommodations to suit the family’s desires.
