Trying to find the right retirement community is really difficult - although my nana and pops are in their 70’s they are very active, social and independent. We toured a number of 55+ communities and although cheaper did not have the activities, dining, events and social interactions. It was hard to find anyone to help or assist - lower cost must be at the expense of staff! Watermere was a breath of fresh air and I was blown away by not only the staff but all the residents ready and waiting to give a glowing review!

The thing that consistently impresses me with this community is the level of service by all the staff. Knowing that the same staff that opened the building are still there today says a lot about their commitment to the residents. While things aren’t perfect they go above to communicate with status updates and try to resolve issues timely.

Great community and even better staff. Couldn’t be more friendly and informative during my search for my grandmother! Ultimately they didn’t end up moving to Houston but I would recommend Watermere at Woodland Lakes to everyone! Their villas are amazing too!

When looking for a retirement community for my grandparents, there were a lot of things we had to consider and it was overwhelming! Both of my grandparents have dietary restrictions due to one being a diabetic and the other having Celiac Disease. So, as you can imagine, finding a community with a quality dinning program that accommodates those with dietary restrictions was HIGH up on our list. We were so relieved to find that Watermere at Woodland Lakes has lots of dinning options for people like my grandparents who need things that are gluten and sugar free. They have lived there three months now, and I get pictures all the time of the food from my grandma! It is the best thing to know they love their new home.

Since we moved away it is hard to visit mom as often as we would like! We know she is having a good time because the events and activities are what helped her and I make the decision on her move! It also puts us at ease to be able to see all the pictures and information uploaded on their community Facebook! It makes my heart happy seeing her and her new friends enjoying themselves ! Making the decision to move my grandfather into an Assisted Living Community was one of the toughest decisions my family has had to make, but the staff at the Landing at Watermere Frisco were so kind and helpful in making the transition. We receive updates on how he is doing, he has all of the medical help he needs, and we see photos of him posted on Facebook participating in many of the activities. We have loved this community and we’re not at all surprised when it was voted Best of Frisco. I would highly recommend the Landing at Watermere Frisco to anyone who is considering an assisted living community for a loved one.

I’ve recently been looking into communities for my mom and Watermere at Frisco have been nothing but helpful during this process! The website itself is informative and super user-friendly. When I called to get additional information the staff was patient and eased my stress in finding the best community for my mom.

My grandma has had a great experience at Watermere Frisco! We were really worried at first about whether or not she’d like it, especially with how hard it can be for her and other people with Celiac Disease to find dining options that cater to their specific needs AND taste good. Watermere Frisco has gone above and beyond everywhere, but especially in dinning. They have SO MANY OPTIONS for people like my grandma, who needs gluten free options, and with other dietary needs like sugar free and low sodium. It’s restaurant quality food with all of the perks of staying home. She loves going to meals and catching up with her friends, and we love how well taken care of she is.

Moving memaw into a memory care wasn’t easy but seeing all the activities and events they offer put me at ease, she loves it here! I love to keep up with her activities on their community Facebook page!

We recently toured with my mother and we could not believe all the great things they have to offer. The activities are so numerous that she could stay busier then she had been in years. Many eays to meet new friends. We are going to be making our decision soon.

We started our search for an assisted living for a family member. The Landing is at the top of our list. It does not compare to anything else in Frisco. The residents seemed very happy and busy with all that was going on. [name removed] and the team were all friendly and helpful!

The Landing has been a blessing to our family. The activities offered are greater than anywhere else and our loved one is so hapand engaged. The food is always good and the caregivers go above and beyond,!

Just wanted to give a big shout out to the Watermere team! They always go above and beyond to ensure their residents are happy and well taken care of. They maintain a very beautiful community and always strive to make it better.

Here at Watermere at Frisco the staff really care about the residents. They have a tremendous amount of patience; they are lovingly vigilant in making sure the residents are safe, happy and healthy. The community is well managed and is always clean, the maintenance team is always going above and beyond. The activities are great and they encourage all the residents to get out and join in. There are so many for the residents to choose from. Great interaction. It is clear that the best interest of each resident is a top priority here.

Staying in touch with my memaw is one of my most important factors when it comes to where she stays ! I love how not only can she stay in touch with her friends that also live in the community but myself and my family can keep in touch and have an eye on her with their community Facebook page! I love seeing her enjoying herself in all the activities they have to offer! Sometimes families even come out for the events and it’s such a great time getting everyone together! Most recently they put out a blog for holiday gifts and it came in so handy for my last minute shopping for memaw!

Watermere at Frisco is definitely the gold standard when it comes to both independent living and retirement communities. Although priced slightly higher than some of the other options in the market the extra offerings are well worth every penny. The property screams class, sophistication and beauty and is designed to feel like home. Great food, fantastic team and even better residents make it the perfect place to retire in!!

Watermere at Woodland Lakes is not only an excellent independent living facility but it sits within a campus offering both active adult and soon to be assisted living. If apartments are not for you Townhomes and Villas are available to give that right balance of home and community. The food is restaurant quality with a menu that continues to cater to all tastes (you can request a dish to be added to the menus!). There are lots of activities, groups and clubs for all interests. Real family feel, with a team that cares deeply and puts a servants heart as a priority!

I work with the advisers and they are great. They provide follow up and work hard for the sale. They are very knowledgeable. The prospects com prepared for APlace For Mom educates on what to expect for independent living.

Watercrest at Shadow Creek Ranch is a great place to call home for all seniors. Activities are catered specifically to the residents and the food is excellent. The staff is really friendly and care deeply about all of the residents, making it a daily mission to put a smile on every residents face. Free transportation to the doctors and grocery stores are a big plus! A place you can really trust.

The staff have been great. They're extremely friendly to the residents and to visitors as well. They keep the residents busy with activities. And I think it's a good value.
