The staff here treat each resident with the highest level of care and compassion and understand that each resident has their own unique set of needs and requests. They have great programs designed specifically for each resident. Loved ones do not sit in their beds or rooms all day here!

The team at this community is amazing, from the executive director to the housekeepers and care givers. Everyone shows true compassionate care. I can see how intentional the team is with each decision and action, as they always put the resident first. Because of the teams effort they have created a great environment that creates a more enjoyable experience for residents. The care of the staff is just a part of what this amazing community as to offer.

Moving my grandpa into an assisted living community was one of the hardest decisions my family has had to make, but the staff at the Landing at Watercrest Shadow Creek have been so kind and helpful as we make this transition. We have loved how knowledgeable the team here is and how much they genuinely care about my grandpa's well-being.

My loved one has been a resident over the last year and although having a couple of problems early on I could not be happier with the new staff, care levels received and quality of food (while keeping it in line with nutritional guides!). I would recommend this community to anyone else looking for home for their loved ones!

My top priority is getting mom the best care. The activities and events they offer here really are catered towards each and every individual! I also never have to worry about not being able to check in on mom as they are always super active on their Facebook community page posting updates about different activities and events going on at the community! I love when my mom is in the pictures!

This community has made my mom feel right at home from all the activities to the events that they host! We love seeing updates about mom on their social pages such as Facebook they are very much community driven here! Mom says she should of moved sooner!

Recently my sister and I have been trying to find a community for our dad who’s recently been diagnosed with dementia but not knowing where to look or even what to look for, we stumbled upon Landing at Watermere Frisco. They have been such a blessing in our search. This transition isn’t easy for my sister and I but knowing what we know now from their helpful website and caring team members, we know we can trust them with our dad.

Trying to find the right retirement community is really difficult - although my nana and pops are in their 70’s they are very active, social and independent. We toured a number of 55+ communities and although cheaper did not have the activities, dining, events and social interactions. It was hard to find anyone to help or assist - lower cost must be at the expense of staff! Watermere was a breath of fresh air and I was blown away by not only the staff but all the residents ready and waiting to give a glowing review!

The thing that consistently impresses me with this community is the level of service by all the staff. Knowing that the same staff that opened the building are still there today says a lot about their commitment to the residents. While things aren’t perfect they go above to communicate with status updates and try to resolve issues timely.

Great community and even better staff. Couldn’t be more friendly and informative during my search for my grandmother! Ultimately they didn’t end up moving to Houston but I would recommend Watermere at Woodland Lakes to everyone! Their villas are amazing too!

When looking for a retirement community for my grandparents, there were a lot of things we had to consider and it was overwhelming! Both of my grandparents have dietary restrictions due to one being a diabetic and the other having Celiac Disease. So, as you can imagine, finding a community with a quality dinning program that accommodates those with dietary restrictions was HIGH up on our list. We were so relieved to find that Watermere at Woodland Lakes has lots of dinning options for people like my grandparents who need things that are gluten and sugar free. They have lived there three months now, and I get pictures all the time of the food from my grandma! It is the best thing to know they love their new home.

Since we moved away it is hard to visit mom as often as we would like! We know she is having a good time because the events and activities are what helped her and I make the decision on her move! It also puts us at ease to be able to see all the pictures and information uploaded on their community Facebook! It makes my heart happy seeing her and her new friends enjoying themselves ! My aunt has lived at this community since the new ownership has been introduced and the difference is night and day. I used to feel like I needed to visit my aunt once a day or once every few days to make sure she was being taken care of, but this new team has really come in and shown they are knowledgeable and genuinely care about my aunt, her health, and her happiness. It has taken so much weight off of my shoulders to see that she is happier now, and is engaging with the staff and other residents. I am so glad we decided to stay at LSO and give the new team a chance.

Mom recently needed to transition to a more skilled place for dementia. I stumbled upon them from a blog they had put out about taking the next steps when it comes to a parent it made me sure they really know what they are doing when it comes to caring for my mom. She is always engaged with all their activities and events helping to keep her memory intact. Their Facebook page also allows me to check in on her when I can’t always make the visit!

Making the decision to move my grandfather into an Assisted Living Community was one of the toughest decisions my family has had to make, but the staff at the Landing at Watermere Frisco were so kind and helpful in making the transition. We receive updates on how he is doing, he has all of the medical help he needs, and we see photos of him posted on Facebook participating in many of the activities. We have loved this community and we’re not at all surprised when it was voted Best of Frisco. I would highly recommend the Landing at Watermere Frisco to anyone who is considering an assisted living community for a loved one.

When I called to get additional information the staff was patient and eased my stress in finding the best community for my mom.

My grandma has had a great experience at Watermere Frisco! We were really worried at first about whether or not she’d like it, especially with how hard it can be for her and other people with Celiac Disease to find dining options that cater to their specific needs AND taste good. Watermere Frisco has gone above and beyond everywhere, but especially in dinning. They have SO MANY OPTIONS for people like my grandma, who needs gluten free options, and with other dietary needs like sugar free and low sodium. It’s restaurant quality food with all of the perks of staying home. She loves going to meals and catching up with her friends, and we love how well taken care of she is.
