Staff and admin are wonderful - walked me through a rough placement for an elderly parent that did not want to to be placed but has significant needs that cannot be met without ongoing assistance - the staff was patient, informative and kept me updated regarding his daily progress with acclimating to the placement - the location is great the property is beautiful. The staff is so friendly and helpful I know that my parent is safe and is being provided excellent care. My parent is communicative and loves goofing around with the staff. I just wish there were more communicative male residents that he could bond with- the staff listened to my concerns and are working on starting a men’s group just for that purpose.

Colonial courtyard offers many activities for residents. They keep them engaged and bring community members involved in the activities. Staff and caring and professional. The site is clean and pleasant to visit.

When My Mother in Law and later my Mother was a resident at Colonial CourtYard , we found the staff to be very caring. The rooms and facility is almost like being at home . Good nourishing meals provided. Also love the fun activities

The staff have been excellent to deal with and are very caring of the residents. The staff is easy to get in contact with. There are so many activities for the residents and the facility is always very clean. Staff are always available.

I worked in a lot of facilities and never came to a memory care unit so intact. 4th floor gets an A+ , from the caregivers [name removed] AND [name removed] to the housekeeper [name removed] down to the activities [name removed] ALL WORK WELL TOGETHER. My mother [name removed] has lived here for almost 3 years , everyone of these workers I consider my friends ! I must name a few that excel in what they do [name removed] takes great care of my mom in dining room along with all the servers . [name removed], [name removed], [name removed]are fantastic , the agency workers are also great especially [name removed]! But I must mention the dedicated housekeeper [name removed]who always checks on mom . I appreciate every single care giver ! Thanks for everything, activity girls and [name removed]fantastic

I have visited Chestnut Ridge and it always looks so nice and clean, and it always smells so pleasant. The housekeeping dept does a wonderful job under the supervision of [name removed]. Keep up the great work!!!

My uncle moved into this community just after Christmas last year. He was coming from a skilled care facility that he really liked, so he was skeptical. Newhaven Court made him feel at home immediately. His children were nervous because he is an extremely picky eater. The food service director met with him and his family and came up with a plan for meals if he didn't like the choices. The staff made him feel welcome from the very first day. The other residents around him welcomed him, also. Including the resident next door and her dog! Newhaven has gone far above and beyond to make all of us feel right at home.

Whenever I come to visit Chestnut Ridge Wallingford it is so clean and neat. I am always greeted with a smile. The Residents here at this facility are happy and content. If one day I need these services I am letting my family know that this would be my choice, if they could not help me. I am getting older and I am doing a lot of soul searching about my senior years.

They do an excellent job with my family member respond quickly when need be. Its clean staff is nice polite. The kitchen prepares meals specific to diet. Medication management and nursing care is great

I have the pleasure of visiting Chestnut Ridge daily when seeing hospice patients. Over the past year or so I have been witness to the daily interactions between staff and those in the memory care unit. The med techs, [name removed], [name removed] etc. and C.N.A’s get to know every resident and treat them like family- with care and respect. The activities provided for the residents by [facility removed] are second to none! The building is clean and welcoming. [name removed] and [name removed] have brought a new sense of dedication, clinical experience and a desire for quality care since they have arrived. My favorite part of my day is being welcomed into the building by [name removed] !!! Good things are happening!

Upon walking in the facility is always well kept and a smiling face is ready and waiting. The care and attention to our family member is great. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. My mother in law loves the interaction.

The Residence at Fitz Farm has been a wonderful living space for our parents. The residence is beautiful, very clean and well designed for seniors. Our parents live in an Assisted Living apartment which is very modern, clean and compact for their needs. Our family is so grateful for the excellent care they both receive; the compassionate interactions, the concern and availability to answer any questions is remarkable. The leadership from Administration to Nursing to work with our parents and our family to meet their needs is exceptional. Also, the housekeeping, maintenance and receptionist go above and beyond to support and assist when needed. In addition, the services available from hair salon, podiatry, physicians for in-room visits and rehab services is exceptional and convenient. We are very grateful to the Executive Operations Officer and the entire staff at the Residence at Fitz Farm for the expert care and attention provided to our dear parents.

They had the best reviews and responsiveness when we were first looking. They have been wonderful and extraordinarily helpful. The director, [name removed], truly goes above and beyond and cares deeply about the families and members of the community.

My mother is a resident at New Haven Court at Lindwood in Greensburg, PA. She feels safe and comfortable here and the great employees are a big part of this. They are always caring and respectful of the residents and go above and beyond when asked for assistance.

We are very pleased with the care given our Mother at Colonial Courtyard of Bedford. Her room is well kept, spacey, and comfortable. The in house availability of doctors and therapy is very convenient. Issues are dealt with promptly. Their activities are over the top, making residents participants not just observers. They provide quality of life to residents by making them participants in life. Such a wonderful atmosphere! Best facility around, and I recommend them highly!

My grandmother had stayed at Colonial Courtyard at Bedford off and on over the 6 years we’d cared for her at home. Colonial Courtyard offered us “respite” stays in order for us to go on vacations or have some time away. I’ve seen how much this community has grown in the more recent years - we had absolutely no complaints or concerns during these respite stays, however, I wanted to add that the Activities now appear to be top notch and Wellness seems to have grown vastly. The team members and residents appear beyond happy. It’s also great seeing some of the same team members that cared for my grandmother in the past still working there. Keep it up Colonial Courtyard!!! I’d highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for placement for their loved one!

Everyone we have come into contact with is kind and friendly and helpful. Room size in memory care is sufficient, especially for someone with dementia. Easier if they don't have a lot to take care of. The home itself is beautiful and sits on the bay with beautiful views. There are plenty of sitting areas and outdoor areas in the summer.

My grandmother moved into Colonial Courtyard in 2010. She lived there for 9 years and was very happy. The care she received from the care aides, LPN's, and dining staff was not just above standard but filled with empathy. Their understanding and care provided my family with great peace of mind, knowing that someone was there to ensure she was okay 24/7. When the time came for Hospice care, the staff's empathy and understanding of her needs ensured her comfort until the very end. I would recommend Colonial to anyone looking for their loved one to be safe and find their purpose again.

My mother who has Alzheimer's disease is thriving in this community. She loves her schedule. She enjoys her peers and her caretaking family. She is always smiling when we visit. Communication to the families is fantastic. The staff are our heroes. They are so full of love and compassion that we know that when we cant be there as much as we would like she is in a loving and caring community.
