I have lived at Cedar Woods for a year, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. The staff here are professional, friendly, and always willing to assist whenever needed. The residents are wonderful, and it truly feels like a tight-knit community. The building is well-maintained, and the high standards of care are always evident. The food is good, and the overall atmosphere makes it a great place to live. I love living here and highly recommend Cedar Woods to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming environment.

I couldn’t be happier with my decision to move to Cedar Woods! From the warm and welcoming staff to the vibrant community of residents, I’ve felt at home from day one. The all-inclusive amenities make life so easy, and there’s always something fun to do—from engaging activities to social events. I love my apartment and the peaceful environment here. The overall experience was excellent. They maintained a clean environment and the staff was super friendly. My friend was always clean with no smell of urine even though she was incontinent. The staff interacted very well with the patients and treated them with dignity and respect inspite of their level of dementia. My friend was in the memory care unit. Meals were nourishing and attractively prepared. The staff were involved in various activities with their clients. The use of music added to create a relaxing environment. I would never have found this place without the help of A Place for mom. Thanks very much.

I lived here in the past when my husband was sick and needed to be close to town for care and now I'm moving back in myself. The staff is wonderful, helping as much as possible with resources to help me get help from the VA. The food has been good so far and the people are so nice and welcoming. I look forward to settling in and making this my last move ever!

I recently toured Cedar Woods and when I walked in and throughout my tour, staff were pleasant and engaging. Residents also were actively participating in recreation programs. One resident wanted to show me her apartment and talked to me about how nice the staff were and how they keep the apartments and entire community clean and well kept. I happen to be touring during the lunch time. The aroma of the food was appetizing and the food looked delicious. Residents were engaging at their tables and told me how good the food was. I was toured by the General Manager, [name removed]. She was knowledgeable and professional. You could tell by her interactions with the residents that they respect and appreciate her. I would recommend Cedar Woods to anyone looking for a compassionate environment and a quality life style for their loved one.

Unfortunately mom was only there a few days as she had a stroke 3 days after moving in and passed a week later. I cannot say enough good things about every aspect of Kanawha Place. Highly recommend to anyone looking for that type of a facility, top-notch in all areas.

Reminds me of a British care home. Intimate. Aides attentive to residents and their families. We picked this community because they have mature staff that seems to really care about their residents.

The staff are very friendly and they honestly care about the residents. They communicate and are reachable. When my father in law had to go to the hospital Briscoe took the time to visit him. The staff are honestly amazing! The facility is very nice when compared to what is around and available. It is well taken care of. I love the ability that the residents have to go outside.

My mom had several sudden changes after moving her from independent living to assisted living at Rain Forest. The staff was so caring and patient as we navigated and figured out what the next steps needed to be. After a couple of months, mom's vascular dementia escalated rapidly and to treat her and adjust meds, she needed to go for temporary pshyc evaluation. During this time, it was of course, determined that mom could no longer be in assisted living, but needed to move to the memory care at Rain Forest. They took care of everything! They moved all of my mom's things, including decorations and set up her new room just like she had before! They even moved her cat and took care of the cat during her stay at a hospital. Her new room and the cat are all ready for her return....they did everything! It was such a blessing to me and my brother!

Though my mother has not been admitted to the facility as of today's date this staff has thus far been very courteous common knowledgeable, and flexible with my needs. They have truly exceeded my expectation as to what I thought the experience would be like. I'm thankful they have made such a difficult decision so much easier to make. It's still hard experience but sometimes it's the small things people do that matters most.

They are so supportive here and so very nice. [name removed] has been in two different places before this one and this is the best one he has been in yet. They have a lot of activities and the best food because they allow you to get what you want if you don’t like what’s on the menu. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good place to be.

The staff are all well trained and compassionate. I highly recommend Wyncote Place to others looking.

Took care of Mom with compassion. Health care was outstanding. Moms last days the nurses checked on her more than enough. They made us all comfortable as we waited for Mom to pass. They actually sent me a refund for the remainder of the month. Which was a surprise as the rules state that you pay for month.

The 3-11 pm shift is very good and do their best to care for my mom. I sense they are short staffed. It is a very difficult job. I don’t know the morning crew, except [name removed], and she is great!!! The lady that cuts hair has not responded to my phone call two weeks ago.

The staff and residents are very friendly and welcoming! Can't say enough wonderful things about [name removed] who helped us through the paperwork and transition. The dining room is open and bright with white tablecloths. The servers know the residents by name. The food is good with lots of options. The lobby has high ceilings with large windows that allow lots of light which makes it feel cheerful. The nurses and med techs are so compassionate and attentive. Mom is so happy there which gives her children peace of mind!

Manager, assistant manager, housekeeping, activity and other staff are hardworking and resident focused. Creekside is a wonderful place.

I've been living at Cedar Woods for the past 10 months, and my experience has been incredibly positive. The food is excellent with a great variety and always something new to try. The service is outstanding, making each meal feel like an adventure. The staff is always more than willing to help, and I highly recommend Cedar Woods for anyone considering a new place to live.

The lady in charge of activities is a special person and that is something we really like about Dover Place. Based on the experience we have had we have recommended this community many times to others and will continue to do so!

It was a very positive experience. Facility was clean. Staff was very friendly. Director was vey thorough. Having dad there for a two week respite stay gave us piece of mind while we got away for a cruise. We plan to use Windsor Ridge again this fall for a little get away. If his needs dictate further assistance than my husband and I provide day to day Windor Ridge would be at the top of my list for him. It is also convenient to his health care providers which is another plus.
