Homestead Village

Lots of drama between residents, services promised were not offered, residents ran the activities so cliques were formed.

Homestead Village of Blacklick is a very nice community but a lot of hyped notifications that is not there. Based on the experience we have had so far, we are not sure if we would recommend them. Everyone is different and it depends on what you are looking for

We thought it might be better than an apartment complex. It reminds me of a college dorm for 55+...cliques, gossip etc.

To Whom it may Concern, we really enjoyed out stay at Homestead Villiage, but getting our X,XXX [amount removed] security deposit back, has been a real challenge. It is now over 30 days and we have not received a status on our deposit. We are senior citizens and live on a fixed income, this is ridiculous.

The building is beautiful, but not kept up with cleanliness. Residents are very friendly. Manager and staff not so.

There's no dining, and no formal activities. It's newer, clean and safe.

Rating them a 1 (one) on all categories. Plan to move at end of lease. Grade = F. They have a "I don't care" attitude. They take care of complaints and requests that are demanding by posting an eviction notice to move out in 3 days or desist and cease to my door. Management is mean. Everything. Place is so dirty in common areas. Public bathrooms are disgusting to the point I no longer use it. I go to my apartment now. A big pass. Management graded an F.

I moved into this place on [date removed] and it has been a nightmare ever since. DO NOT MOVE YOUR LOVED ONES IN HERE!!! Let's start with an uncaring manager and regional manager who thinks that people with health problems, in wheelchairs, walkers in their 70's, 80's, and 90's should take their boxes from move-in all the way out to a dumpster instead of putting them in the garbage rooms in the building. Would you want your loved one to be made to do that? She doesn't care, doesn't answer phone calls, and when you speak up about it she will cry and say she can't take it and hang up the phone on you. It's all about your money and getting you in here and then you are treated like crap. Actually, show your loved ones you care by not putting them in this awful place. The new manager is rude, and tries to bully tenants but when she gets called out for her BS then she cries and says she can't take it anymore. It may have been great when [name removed] was here I wasn't here then, but with [name removed] its awful
