Homestead Village

They are very helpful and pleasant. I believe the apartments and amenities are perfect for seniors. They do have options. We chose this community over others because of The price, size and availability.

I could not be happier with Homestead Village in Beavercreek. From our very first visit they have been nothing but kind and welcoming. They were extremely helpful with answering all of our questions and were very patient as we got my Mom’s home sold and got everything ready for her to move. She’s been moved in for a few months now and recently told me how relaxed and peaceful she feels in her new apartment. All of the other residents we’ve met have also been extremely friendly and welcoming. It’s really been a great experience. Highly recommend!

Change in staff has helped. As mom is getting older she may have to move to an assisted care facility. She doesn't always feel well so she doesn't always participate. One thing that changed is not being able to go into the formal living room unless it is reserved. That doesn't leave room for casual chatting.

It has been a great experience living here at Homestead Village Of Miamisburg. I highly recommend for retirement living.

They do not provide meals. It's a great setup for over 55 living on there own. It truly has made my sister happy.

I love it there, the office staff isn't very friendly, I would have to rate them a 2 but everything else including the residents is definitely a 5 if not more!! The residents are very friendly and great. They make it like a family, really caring about each other. We're just like a big family!!! They even put up with my orniness!! It's all in fun. Love them all!!!

If it were not for your dedication, excellent service, consideration and love, I would have never been able to find a place like this on my own. I'm treated with love and it feels like home here. If you're looking for a place to call your own and maintain your independence, you should look into Homestead Village. The staff and other tenants are very welcoming. It is pet friendly, plus it has a grooming station. They have a variety of activities as well.

So far I haven't met many of the people here. I'm unpacking and treating so.e health problems that I unexpectedly had occur. I didn't have a bed so I was sleeping g in a modified lazyboy and got swollen ankles and feet Once I get my problems taken care of I expect I will have an enjoyable time as they have a library, fitness, a place to do crafts, and other things. There is a large area where you can socialize and play games, cards, and bingo . I have some tips when packing, mark what is being moved and where it is to go. Not everything that I packed made it here, but alor that I didn't want did.

People that live here very friendly. Feel very safe and we would recommend this community to other families who may need a place for their loved ones.

The staff here at Homestead Village of Blacklick are friendly, not much interaction with them though. There is no housekeeping of the apartment, but the hallways seem well maintained. They have had no contact with family, none has been needed. Overall, it is very nice. There are high school kind of like clichés that are hard to penetrate, but that's normal with groups of people. My apartment seems to be warm most of the time. Even if outside temperatures were single digits, I never used the heat. Nice place, safe, I would recommend it to someone who is independent and does not rely on others.

I would recommend this facility to others. My father is very happy there. When he has an issue, he can go to the office and they always treat him with respect.

I am currently a resident at Homestead Village of Miamisburg and moving to this facility has been the best move for me. The staff is great! The other families are friendly. The village motto is "Where Neighbors become friends." I am loving it here, I'm not lonely anymore. I would recommend Homestead Village of Miamisburg to others.

We give Homestead Village a 5 for everything, we wish we had done this a few years ago. We have found that the employees really go out of their way to help, and we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

I am currently a resident at Homestead Village of Miamisburg. There are no meals. It is an active 55+ apartment village with full sized regular kitchens. There is no housekeeping either. But everything is included in the rent - Heat, AC, tv, internet, wifi, water, sewer, trash and activities. That is very very important and the #1 draw for me. Storage cages are available to rent at a reasonable rate. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Maintenance is responsive. The location is very convenient between two major malls/shopping and restaurant areas. And convenient to 75, 675 and major roads. They are very pet friendly and there are washing and fenced in play areas outside for dogs. There are some residents with mild cognitive issues and the other residents are kind to them. The village amenities are super nice. Free coffee/latte/espresso etc, living room with large tv, free computers and printers in the library, a pool and darts in the game room, a party room for rent, an outdoor patio with tables and umbrellas and a good grill, a salon, doctors come in once a week to take blood pressures etc. Activities need more in the evenings and they are planning more when fully staffed. They secure the doors when staff are not around. If you need some assistance with home health or daily living, people can come here to see you. It is just not an Assisted Living type of place. It makes life easier for people like me with moderate mobility issues that can make life hard - and we have quite a few people in wheelchairs and scooters on the first floor, too. I am very happy here and would highly recommend this place to others. I would be willing to talk to anyone interested and show them around.

We picked this community because it was the right price. Close to me. Friendly people and a very nice environment.It is the perfect spot if you like people, activities, and entertainment. Plenty of parking whether you have one car or two. Everything you need as far as amenities is right there on the premises. It's conveniently located near restaurants, gas stations and grocery store

A very friendly staff. She went out of her way to tour us around & explain all of the wonderful features they have. The community was very clean, it had a clean scent to it. Staff was professional in appearance & courtesy. This is affordable living at its best!

Homestead Village is a peaceful community and has a great view. I would stay there again if I went down and based on the experience I had, I would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

This is a great place the building is wonederful and you can do everything under one roof. You can do everything without having to go outside. You are not limited to what you can do because you don't have to worry about the weather. The people here are friendly and there is lots to do. The apartment is a nice size and really nice. The one thing I like the most is that most places that I visited were like a regular apartment so the opportunity for socialization you had to find it. Here if you are coming or going you are in the main social area so you see people in the village and you are able to speak and make friends. There is comfortable seating and places to play games or have meals with someone. There is a dining room for pot lucks and families to come in and have a separate party if they would like. Ther is a fitness center, a chapel, library, a dog wash station, a salon and more in this community.

It is going pretty good so far, I am happy with the place. It is a little smaller then what I thought but that is okay because I do not need anything to big. The community is very clean and my care giver comes in three times a week to help me out. I have everything I could possibly need here.
