3 months in and no regrets. Living in a seniors retirement home is an adjustment after living in your own home. It takes about 3 months to settle in. Longlake Chateau is an amazing place. The staff are all top drawer and the fellow residents are varying..some use walkers, wheelchairs or not and all are interesting. I chose to come here and if you are reading this you may be considering a seniors residence..why wait. A positive attitude is the most important thing you can bring. No car? No worries. There is bus runs 5 days a week to take you to all your appointments, your bank, shopping malls, excursions twice a week. I found I liked it better with each passing day. I feel fortunate to have been directed to Longlake Chateau. No need to look elsewhere.

It is a fantastic situation. Lovely meals, activities to do, friendly lovely people. The staff are so kind, patient, friendly and funny. Everyone in the family enjoys visiting there. Mom finally needed to move to a personal care home, but it was the best experience,

Great experience and our Dad is doing very well. It took a while to get settle in but with the positive team at the home he is like a new man.

It was great! Very friendly and caring staff. Clean living situation. Meals were good with vegetarian options. They were flexible and accommodating.

Mom loves it and I'm so impressed I would move in there when I'm ready. Meals are great and food in between meals is easy accessible from a bar for my Mom. We love it !

I have been at Willow Gardens for about 4 months now and I love it. The staff treat you like family and the other residents are my friends. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The local area has lots of restaurants and shopping. Come for a visit.

We are so grateful for Durham Regent in Durham, NC. My brother spent his last several months there, enjoying his room, enjoying the dining room and loving the food, gaining new friends. It is a wonderful place and we had no complaints whatsoever. They were very attentive and were always there for us. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. My brother passed away on July 19th and we miss him very much.

Wounderful staff and outstsnding place to live

My mom is so happy here. The staff and aids are so kind and friendly. They are very accommodating and have so many activities available to the residents.

The staff was amazing. The grounds were beautiful. The decor, music and activities were all outstanding and the food was very good. Everyone from the executive director to the cleaning people were great. My grandmother only spent 3 weeks here until she died, and we were so sad she couldn’t have stayed for longer. She loved it, and it was the perfect place for her final days, while her family took care of her.

Westhaven was a great residence for my Dad. His stay was very short (moved in May 2 and was all moved out by the end of July). They really care and helped my Dad during his short stay.

An excellent facility. We would have no hesitation in availing ourselves of its services in the future should the attitude of my in-laws change. We loved everything about the Court at Barrhaven.

[Name removed] was a great guide for us at both Durham Regent and Emerald Pond. A room at either may be an ultimate solution!!

We were very happy to visit Fleming Point - our guides (husband and wife team) were very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. They clearly knew each of the residents and showed great respect and affection for them. Very "independent" yet it seems that the staff is able to work with each resident, and additional services are available. This is definitely on our short list.

Clean, Friendly, Happy Residents. It is VERY clean and the staff is amazing. At this point this is where my mom will go when it is time.

My Mom felt very comfortable and at home here. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive to to the residents. Cedar Ridge seems like a great fit with lots of options for activities and socialization.

This was my first visit here and it was wonderful. Friendly, clean, staff very welcoming and residents even offered to show you their apartments. Very inviting and leaves you with a great feeling. Didn’t stay for lunch but it smelled delicious. Was not a sales pitch but made you feel like joining in. I left feeling like I knew people there already. Great place!!
