My niece has been living alone in house for a few years. She had no neighbors and no one to really talk to ever since her mother passed away. Ever since we stumbled up Sheldon Oaks we have been so happy. Their care team is very nice and welcoming; my niece says that she never wants to leave. It tickles me knowing how happy she is here. I recommend this place because knowing that there are good people around my niece I know that she is safe and so content. She now has people that she can talk to and she is having just a grand time. Their team is very communicative and they would contact a family member right away if anything should ever happen. The staff is very knowledgeable. She is getting her 3 meals a day and it’s great that she knows that she doesn’t have to worry about cooking anymore. She tells me that it’s not restaurant quality food, but it is still a healthy alternative. They don’t use that much seasoning, but she can add more if she so wishes. Overall this place is great. It’s nice to know that they always have someone to check up on my niece. They have housekeeping that comes around once a week (they always keep the area clean), she has a panic button just in case she needs to call someone, and the residents there are also very friendly.

When I contacted A Place for Mom they actually recommended this facility. When my Mother and I toured we knew this would be the place she would stay. The staff is wonderful, friendly, and personable. They understand that a lot of their residents are hard of hearing and their very patient with them. My mom fell not too long ago and management was on top of the situation and called the ambulance very quickly. They stayed by her side until help came. When I spoke with the manager he was very sweet about everything and made accommodations for her. I was really impressed how they handled the whole situation. The facility itself is very clean and when I used the public restroom is was clean as well. The apartments are very nicely done. They come unfurnished but it does have a kitchenette with a half-sized refrigerator, 2 burner stove, and a built-in table. The apartment is nice and spacious with plenty of storage space on the patio and in the bedroom. A cleaning lady comes in once a week to change the bedding and sweep the floors. The only downfall I say this facility would have is they only have 2 washer/dryers per building and most of the time people forget their laundry in them. I decided that I would have my mom come to my house to do her laundry. They have a very good chef here and they have a lot of variety. They offer 3 meals a day and for each meal, they offer 3 entrees. There is an additional a la carte menu that you can pick from at any time in the day. It’s honestly like a little restaurant. For activities, they have chair aerobics, bingo, Oktoberfest, a pool, entertainment that comes in, little parties, and estate sales when other residents move out. They have something every day that gives my mom a reason to get up. I really recommend this facility.

Management and staff is all 1st class. Meals are all 1st class, you cannot please everyone excellent cooks. Thank you. My room is very clean and have no complaints very nice. This is a very well-run retirement home. I am very lucky to be here, Thank you.

I'm so glad we chose this community it is a smaller so mom won't get lost. The staff are very helpful and extremely caring. The price was right also. It always smells good in there and clean. The grounds are well maintained. The food is good but they do run out of the good stuff first then they just have to go with the alternate option. She enjoys many activities like crafts, bingo and movie nights. I would recommend this community to anyone looking.

MY FAVOURITE PLACE-I AM NOT QUITE READY YET TO COMMIT TO ANY RESIDENCE AS MY HEALTH IS STILL OKAY.

This community is fabulous for my grandma. She enjoys all the nice people and caring staff. She says the food is great. They have great activities but with her being 98 she is limited but she does do the exercise class and she enjoys this social hour. The community is very clean and the courtyard is maintained. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family.

Toured the facility, had lunch and it was excellent, had lunch with a resident ambassador. Clean, residents were happy and staff engaged with them. Would have chosen if closer to family.

I wouldn't hesitate moving directly from my house to Anchor Pointe - if I was planning to sell my house!! :-)

I chose this community a little over 3 wks ago and I am happy with this place. The staff is friendly and caring. The food is good and the place is kept clean. They have many activities here and I plan to join the walking group. They also have music entertainment the is enjoyable. The courtyard is nice. I would recommend this place to any of my friends.

My parents love living at Canyon Meadows. The location is very central and the shuttle service is great.

My parents are doing very well at The Springs of Escondido. They really like it there. It is a very nice community with a lot of amenities. It is well-maintained and nicely landscaped. The meals are provided for them and the food is great. They are very happy with their apartment. The management is great and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

My aunt is doing great since her move to this community. This is a nice community, and I'am comfortable with her move here. I know she is safe, and good hands. The staff is kind, and helpful when needed. I enjoy the meals they serve, they are good, and well balanced. We have not had any problems with this community. I'am pleased with all they have done for our family.

This is a nice community for the care of my father. The staff is caring and attentive. The menu is very good and we like knowing that he is happy with the menu. They offer my father activities and he is participating. We would recommend this community for the care and the good value that is received.

I moved my mother into a one bedroom apartment at Vista de la Montana recently. She is so happy with everything they offer and just fell in love with her apartment and gorgeous view of the mountains from her balcony. Her apartment and fixtures look brand new, even though it's an older building. The staff truly treats the residents like family and is very concerned for their safety and comfort. The office manager, [name removed], is so welcoming and accommodating. The assistant manager, [name removed], is a great fit for the job. His priority is caring for the residents and you'll find him making the rounds at mealtime, engaging with "his family." He is very kind-hearted and loves to serve others. [name removed], our salesperson, took the time to get to know and understand mom's needs. She was not pushy for one second, but she answered all of our questions and found the answers if she didn't know, but she was very knowledgeable. One of the websites mentions safety pull cords in the units, but the old system has been replaced with a wearable pendant with GPS tracking and emergency response is notified at the push of a button in event of a fall or other urgent need. It gives me and my family peace of mind to know that mom is in good hands. The menu is chef selected and prepared. The sous chef, [name removed], is very talented and uses generations-old family recipes that are delicious. My mother is very pleased with the dining options, 3 full meals daily, snacks & coffee available any time. She hasn't gotten involved in the activities yet, but in time she will. After she saw what Vista de la Montana had to offer, she knew it was the right place for her and didn't want to look any further. Kudos to the Holiday company and the excellent staff, from management to housekeeping and everyone in between--you're doing a fantastic job! Thank you all!

The sales director and the events coordinator, were warm and very receptive. They had a great sense of humor. Their focus is on the resident's request for activities, and they have done a very good job of coordinating. During the walking tour, a resident was so excited about going to a show and dinner that night. Everyone was excited about something they were getting ready to do this. The facility was immaculate and areas were maximally utilized for coordinated events. The facility was landscaped with nature trails, gardening areas and talks of the potential of other activities that residents were designing. There were also plans for upgrades to the physical facility, for example laminate floors were being installed and improvements to the nearby Creek. This was a facility that evolves with the resident's needs and a positive environment.

I recently made the move into this community and so far things have been wonderful. The staff are attentive to our needs and have spoiled us rotten since we made the move. The meals they serve are very good, always tasty and healthy. I like that they keep us busy throughout the day with lots of activities as well as different field trips to different things. I would defiantly recommend this place to any interested in a great living environment.

My mom loved living at Rock Creek. We all loved mom living there! They treated all of us like family. It is independent living at its finest. Right at the beginning, I came to tour the place unannounced and two people walked up and asked who I was. I said I was looking for a place for my mom. They said to bring her here we will take good care of her. They happen to be actual residents. All of them, residents and staff did take excellent care of my mom. They had great food and great activities. They had pictures on the walls of the residents who lived there and pictures of their pets. My mom had to move into an assisted living community. She misses them dearly, so I take her back to visit from time to time, and it still feels like home.

I am now in residence at Sherbrooke Heights.I have been here three weeks and already feel at home. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is very good and we have great menu. There lots of activities organized to keep you occupied So over all sherbrooke I think. is a good place to live
