Holbrook Sugar Hill has everything you would need for the care of an elderly adult. My parents are very happy there. My mom has friends finally. And they are both getting hydrotherapy from the pool they have there - which is not something a lot of facilities have. The food is good overall. They're just having problems getting breakfast out in the mornings. It's expensive but definitely worth every penny!

The Holbrook of Woodstock is a top of the line facility. It is absolutely stunning. We showed up for our tour and they brought us champagne while we waited - we almost forgot where we were. The décor and detail are exquisite. I just cannot say enough good about the tour experience. We had a few concerns over meds which was why we backed out, but it was a great place.

The apartments were small. There were more single men than women here. It was a nice community and our second choice.

I toured this community and it was excellent. The staff is excellent. I got more information/education on this whole process here than I did anywhere else. They were so wonderful and helpful. Ultimately, I feel like this community is a better fit for more active and independent residents with no advanced needs. My loved one isn't on that level and I don't think this would have been the best fit for her. But I would recommend it as an option for those who are.

The Holbrook of Woodstock is a wonderful place. I love it here and it is by far the best place I have ever been in. They have a great staff, we have wonderful residents and I was so excited about their salt water therapy pool. I love the amenities that they have provided. The management has been wonderful and very helpful. I am so happy here and cannot say enough good things about the facility. It is the crème de la crème.

Before moving in, we checked out several different assisted living facilities in the area and chose this one. We chose The Holbrook of Woodstock because of all the categories above that I gave a 5/5 in! What stands out to me the most is the friendliness and the staff who are willing to go out the way to help anytime. They are always available to resolve any problems you might have.

I would give Dogwood Forest of Grayson higher than 5 stars if I could. The staff has gone out of their way to be both efficient and helpful. They have done a great job helping my mom to get acclimated. One of the things she keeps saying over and over again is that they call her by her first name and she really appreciates that. They know all of the residents by name and really get to know them. The staff have been great with communication with the family, they have called us for a variety of different things. I would highly recommend the facility to others.

We chose The Holbrook because of the convenience of the location as well as mom just felt most comfortable here. The apartment size is perfect, she really likes it a lot and it has everything that she needs in it. She has made a lot of friends and is glad she is here. I would recommend to others looking.

Our loved ones could not be happier with The Holbrook, they are so thrilled to be there. The staff members have been superb, it is like a high end hotel and the people there have a lot of experience. The food has been fantastic, and I swear every single day there are some kind of activities going on. There has been some hiccups and growing pains, but overall everyone has been very responsive.

Our family had an in person tour and we loved The Holbrook community. The price was significantly lower then other facilities we were looking into, our loved ones could of had a two bedroom that was a lower cost, but the just like another community a little bit better. However, we would not hesitant to send a loved one there.

It was a very nice community. The memory care was not a good fit for my loved one; however, the assisted and independent living was very nice.

We toured The Holbrook and it was wonderful, but our loved one needed help with her dog and they would not take the dog unless she was fully capable of caring for it.

My mom is doing so well here. They are very nice and it is always kept super clean. The grounds are spectacular, they are very well maintained and beautiful. They have a social calendar with activities every day, she has made some friends and really enjoys the social aspect of it all. The people she has talked to came from other facilities and they said this is by far the best one. In the assisted living side they try to make it flexible, they have a restaurant so you can get it delivered to your room or you can go down to eat. Residents meet bi-weekly with the chef and discuss any issues and what they want in upcoming weeks. They have a salon and spa on site, the woman who does her hair makes her look so good each week and she loves it. They also have a salt water pool and a steam room infused with eucalyptus and a sauna. I cannot say enough good things about The Holbrook, I would recommend to other families.

It was over the top nice. The only was over our price range.

I would highly recommend Hollbrook. The apartments are incredibly well done. The staff and residents are fantastic. The food is cooked to order, and well done. The drinks are reasonably priced. Sometimes the meals are a little too big for the residents.

You get what you pay for at this community when it comes to the overall value, and we did not use the care services they provided. Some activities they had were socialization activities that involved happy hour in the afternoons, they would celebrate birthdays with monthly parties. They have a theater that is available to the residents. They also have physical therapy services which is certainly very useful, this community also had a transportation services for when the residents needed to go somewhere, like the grocery store of the pharmacy. My mom really liked the location, it was very close to her home, and we were very pleased with the quick responsiveness from the staff, they were very accommodating to my mom, the communication was great. The food was excellent as well, it was more of a restaurant atmosphere instead of a cafeteria atmosphere.

We have a fitness center with a heated pool which I really enjoy. The meals are great and family are welcome to join for meals. I really don't have to do anything anymore. I have a weekly cleaning services and the staff here are so sweet and friendly. We have movies everyday, and so many activities. I started taking an art class here and discovered that I have a love for painting now. We have a good group of residents here and we really enjoy each others company.

The food at The Holbrook is really good, even my picky family members enjoy eating there. Staff has really been great within just a few days of moving in the staff was all greeting him by name. We were happy to find quite a few men at The Holbrook which has been great for my dad who is a widower to find a peer group. He is looking to be able to get back out in the courtyard with his buddies. They have a salt water pool and a lot of other great amenities that my dad is looking forward to using.

We ended up being 1 1/2 late for our appointment as we got lost with the GPS malfunctioning in two devices. The receptionist was understanding and was able to assign another person for a tour as the Community Relations Director was doing another tour. The building is new and very attractive, the rooms are spacious and well thought out.There is underground parking with valet service. Everyone we met was very friendly, staff and residents alike. This place has it all. We were very impressed.
