It's looks nice on the outside. Once you have your parent in the facility its a whole different story. My mom was there for over 3 yrs they raise the rent every year 160.00 to over 200.00 depending on your room size. I had to move my mom because of the increase EVERY YEAR.They are short handed alot of the time, most of the staff doesn't interact with the residence. Other then that it a nice place.

The staff did a good job with my tour but I was not very impressed with this community, it felt more clinical and depressing. there were not many amenities for the residents, in fact, their game room was a table pulled out into the hallway. The rooms were small. I just knew that I did not want my mother to come here.

When my Mom moved in here October of 2015 it was good for about 6 months. It has been going downhill ever since. The distribution of the Meds is a nightmare. Rarely on time. When as needed meds are requested, it usually requires 2-3 requests and even then sometimes they do not show up. some of the help does not speak or understand English. The food coming out of the kitchen is hit and miss mostly miss. Mediocre at best. Lots of employee turnover. lots of employees that have been here for many years are gone. Northglenn Heights use to have a good reputation with a 3-4 month waiting list and never had to offer incentives . No more. They are now offering incentives for people to move in and. We are very disappointed with the decline in quality and service that has happened over the last year.

RATING: 2 REASONS: A. Lack of Security B. Turnover of personnel and lack of consistent cleanliness of resident and room. C. Cambridge has been out of Air Conditioning for practically the whole summer and from what we have been informed the same problem existed last year. Being without air conditioning in making sure the bldg. Is cool for the residents is a priority. The kitchen and dining areas are Very Hot. D. Workers who wash the clothes seem to forget where the residences clothes are to be returned(which resident room they belong).

Toured this facility in February 2025. I am familiar with it, as we used to bring our kids there many years for Halloween for the residents. The outer building is nice, and the grounds. Walking in - it is very small and cramped and dated - it is not a very inviting appearance. The gathering rooms downstairs and the dining area are very dated and hap hazard, and was a very big turn off as soon as you walk in. The rooms are big, but they are very dated - and the lighting in the halls and rooms are not good. We decided against this facility due to the unhappy feeling looking around. We chose a new facility - which is nice, but all these places have the same issues, and its disheartening knowing your loved one is stuck there. They all have lame staff, don't do what they sell you, and have turn over issues. I have a neighbor that removed her mother from here - they could not get housekeeping to clean her room on a regular basis.

The Staff was Gracious! But we were upset that we had to move My Sister to another memory care facility after she had been there for only two weeks!! And then the service declined as well!! So now it’s under new management as an Independent Living facility!!

I would recommend you check other communities in the area. I moved my loved one from another city, and because it was so far away they didn't do an assessment prior to my loved one moving in. They are charging for care that my loved one doesn't need. The director is stating they don't have time to do an assessment on my loved one still due to the staff turnover. The staff has had a turnover, and this has put the housekeeping into a place where residents are complaining.

High staff turnover. Until recently, the residents were without bus service to run errands, go to grocery store, etc. for an extended period of time. Now, they have borrowed a bus and a driver from another facility. Food is frequently of poor quality and small in portion size, per relative who is currently a resident there.

I have lived in Ukiah for 30 years and have worked in the medical community for over a decade, I am well aware of Mountain View Assisted Living. Being the only of its kind in the area, Mountain View has struggled; I know of three families now that are looking to relocate loved ones! While the staff that works there for the most part are wonderful people, the leadership of Corporate America needs some work. They seem to have a very difficult time keeping leadership in the building. The end of last year they were making head way in the community. Mountain View was lead by a woman named [Removed], that was making strides in the perception of the community. She was not "corporate", she had a genuine love for the building and the residents that occupied it. This was the first time that the medical community had taken note! She had taken over a building that was in serious distress locally, and began to make people re-think their stance. At some point this year she disappeared. I have heard through the grape-vine it was a "corporate" decision. They apparently don't know what they had, because since then they have fallen more from grace than ever before. Mountain View is lovely, the people that work there are angels; but whoever is responsible for that territory doesn't know how to mentor its leadership, and see the gold through the shadows. I hope they can find an equivalent replacement someday, or they are going to continue to see a harsh community perception. For [Removed]; I hope she has moved on and found a place that prizes community, respect, resident first mentality, and a corporation that can see the forest through the trees. For a building that prizes their website on resident satisfaction and community; they perhaps should find/keep leadership that promotes and lives that philosophy.

I felt that I was given bad information regarding the room set up and level of care they were able to give. I was told that in the private room, our family member would be able to control temperature. That was not true at all. The emergency pull for falling did not work. Not nearly enough staff. It was just a very bad experience.

Very friendly but under-staffed. Food is NOT nearly as good as advertised. Cleanliness is a real issue. Total price was $500 per month more expensive than quoted prior, but by then it was too late as my parents had already committed. Many other smaller "promises" have not been kept. Not very satisfied but will do for now. Will likely begin looking elsewhere soon.

The staff are long on selling their plans to keep you there, but short on providing care. They claim they don't have time to walk her, and suggest I hire someone to come in there and do it! My mom often smells like urine or stool and wears dirty clothes. They claim she refuses showers and help wiping. Obviously they have no skills in working with dementia patients to elicit cooperation with their care. Nursing (administrative only) staff is unwilling to meet her needs and offer excuses that they lack the staff to give her care. Wonder just what we are paying for.

The reviews on the web site for this facility are very misleading. (Of course, any place that posts reviews that are all 5 stars is a bit questionable. Of course, they will post all of the positive ones, but none of the negative.) Regarding the facility itself - it appears clean, but has a very odd smell to it. It is an older facility with not very amenities or common places for the residents to mingle or relax. There is only one garden area which is not an option in the very hot or very cold months of the year. As far as activities, the place is very small with minimal areas in which to do things and the activities are at a minimum. So, if you are looking to keep your loved one active and engaged, it this isn't the place. What they call the 'rehab area' is a closed off room with 3 very old looking pieces of equipment that they say is leased by an outside company. If your loved one does need rehab of some sort, I would suggest looking for another option as what is in that room doesn't look like anything that would provide rehab services. The furniture and decor is VERY outdated and looks as if it was put together with garage sale items thrown into the place just for the sake of having something the in the rooms. There is no rhyme or reason as to the decorating scheme, as if you can call it that at all. Value - well it is cheaper, but with anything else in life, you get what you pay for. Spend a few extra bucks and go elsewhere. Staff seemed friendly, but not very engaging with the residents. Activities were limited at best. They say they try to engage all residents. That is questionable and hard to determine, especially if your loved one cant communicate sufficiently to let you know if they participated or not.

My 95-year old mother lived in the Assisted Living portion of Greenfield Senior Living of Williamsburg from the end of February until the beginning of September 2015. The service deteriorated during this period until my wife and I finally decided to move her to a another facility. The three major problems were the medical care, the responsiveness and the food. [removed] Lack of staff - especially on the night shifts - resulted in wait times of one-half to three-quartes of an hour for a response to her call pendent. Fortunately none of these were for emergency situations. The food was just not good, and my Mom's biggest realization was how much better the meals were in her new assisted living facility. Most of the issues were personnel related. The entire management team was replaced in August, and the new director lasted less than a month before she resigned. The individual care-givers were pleasant, but most were inexperienced and there was a high turnover rate. We pay a little more for her new facility, but we feel more comfortable and Mom is much happier there.

Recently I made arrangements to move my father to Greenfield in Spotsylvania. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful right up until things went horribly wrong. -They did not inventory or label the items I brought for his room. -They did not inventory his person to make sure he was not bringing in anything dangerous. Since my father has dementia, he still had his wallet, keys, and two pocket knives. One of which he used to threaten a staff member and the other he used to dismantle a window on his 2nd day and he eloped. This facility left him in the ER of the local hospital for 18 hours insisting my father must have PTSD or some other issue other than Dementia because of the violent 'fight or flight' behavior he was showing. I feel this is irresponsible. I told them my father was RECON USMC. I told them he would be combative. I don't understand why they didn't label his belongings or screen him upon entry. I don't understand why they would not take him back from the ER once he had calmed down. They left him there and refused to take him back. It was a nightmare for me and my family to have to pick him up from that ER and find a way to care for him while we found another facility. In the week that followed, I waited and waited for them to contact me with a plan for their own psychiatrist to evaluate him. I called them every day to ask. After a full week I was told their psychiatrist would not evaluate him, and I would need to get a 3rd party licensed psychiatrist involved, even though he had received two evaluations at the hospital and they deemed it was just the Dementia, and no underlying psychiatric problems were detected. Finally, after a few weeks, I received my un-cashed check in the mail. But there was no letter or note or anything in the envelope. Just my check. And a few days after, I got a bill for the 2 days my father was there.

Took my mother out after 4months. It's basically a jail sentence. Made to get up by 6am and breakfast is not served until 8 30. Mom hated the food , no options. They have a hair salon but do not use it , I had to cut mom's hair. No activities, they promote activities but do not do any, mom was bored and became depressed. Facility not clean, her clothes were lost in the laundry. Mom complained that staff was rude to her and I had to constantly get her medications corrected. I do NOT recommend.
