Do not send your loved one to Heritage They do not have enough help Memory care unit has one or two caregiver over night for 40 residents My loved one is never bathed unless we do it My loved one is Always left in soiled depends it is sad to visit and find them like this Laundry piled up And management does not know what to do to make this place better

Facility has gone down hill over the past year. Staff shortage has led to unacceptable level of care with day to day hygiene and bathroom assistance. It would be better to have fewer scheduled “activities” and more practical care. Some staff members have been disrespectful to family and unwilling to follow medical instructions. We are currently on a waiting list at another assisted living home.

Worse assisted living place ever! My parents have been there for 6 months and we have finally had enough! We pay so much and nothing ever gets done! My mom is on a puree diet and she hates the food. So instead of finding ways to feed her other things or use a food processor they give her oatmeal, 3 times a day EVERYDAY!! We tell them stop with the oatmeal and they don't! If you complain about anything nothing happens. They never come into their room and my mom takes care of my dad! It's too much for her but it never changes! The aides are constantly yelling at each other and a nurse has yelled at me for finally getting sick of asking them to shave my dad!!! And water, something everyone needs to survive, NOPE! I see water on the cart but they never give you want unless you ask. They love to give you juice though. I have so many complaints about this place....DO NOT PLACE YOUR LOVED ONES HERE, UNLESS YOU JUST DON'T CARE!

Do not go here or send your loved ones!! Dad was here less than 2 months. Short staffed, staff that doesn't care, upper staff does not reply to emails, they do not follow through on what they promise for care. Nice facility, but care sucks!!

Lazy staff. The new management never interacts with the residents. The Dementia Care area smells like urine and the resident's look dirty. Staff spends more time on their cell phones than taking care of my family member. It's a dump.

We are not happy with this community. We had to pay for extra days when she had not moved in. We had to sign before she got in. The room was much smaller than what we informed. They did not take care of my mom's need. They did not give medications for 2 weeks. They are always changing staff. Manager is not helpful. I would recommend this community for others.

This IS NOT the place to move a parent you love! The care provided was dismal. Theft prevelant. Do not be fooled with an Elm Grove address. Best day we had there was the day we moved our parents out!

Very high turnover. Chronically understaffed. Does not provide services promised and to the point resident safety is compromised

My father resided there for 7 1/2 months. There is no continuity in the care received. They are in a perpetual mode of on the job training. There were 5 instances of theft. This is a real estate company that has no business being in the managed care industry. There is no accountability to the residents. What they pitch to you during the tour is not the reality they maintain. Beware.

Everything was great until they started hiring really uneducated staff causing the little staff they had to quit or transfer. My father ran away from the totally "secure unit" in memory care. Management only cares about money. They have had 8 different head nurses because they can't handle it. My dad never had showers unless I asked. Staff was very rude and inappropriate and love teasing and mocking the residents. I regret with all my heart putting my dad in there. Night shif was heartless, I used to come check on my dad around 1am just to see how things were and found night staff asleep multiple times and when I told trish the community director she didn't really care and I was very disappointed in this place.
