We chose Edencrest because my father wanted a smaller facility to be in. We had one of the smallest apartment sizes that they offer, but they have various sizes to choose from. With covid everything was limited but overall I would recommend to others looking

We chose Country Manor because it is only for memory care as opposed to mix of assisted living and senior living, so the care is more personalized. They do have a good variety of activities provided for the residents. They seem to be doing a good job with keeping staff and I would recommend to others.

Second choice at this point, just not sure we can make it work financially. Good location, very nice facility, friendly staff.

We chose Azura Memory Care because we know someone who has a loved one here and has had a good experience. They room that he has is a private room. Sometimes communication is not the best from the staff members, you have to call and keep up with them, but overall I would recommend to others looking.

The community said they take eldercare, but I think they have only a set amount of positions open. The community is neat and clean, and the staff is very friendly. The food is good, and they do have activities available. I would recommend this community to others.

It's really handy to be independent here. They have the facility set up where you can just be in your own room but then leave essentially for meals and little outings. But then also, it's good to have that transition available if things do decline over time. And it definitely doesn't feel like a nursing home. It feels like a normal apartment building. I see quite a few other residents that are quite able bodied. One of the residents is really lovely - she made my loved one a wreath as soon as he moved in. The other residents are nice as well, and will say hi as you pass by. The staff have been very friendly. I know they're struggling with staffing right now, which I don't blame them for, but it would be nice to have more help for my loved one. We've run into some communication issues, probably also due to staffing. But we're also worry warts. We'll call ahead of time if we know he has an appointment or something coming up, and make sure everything is in place. He loves the food, but he isn't happy with the portion sizes. But if he could he could snack all the time all day, he would. From the meals I've seen, they give fruit, salad, potatoes, a little bit of everything that includes the whole food pyramid, which is nice. I really enjoy seeing him getting out a lot, doing bingo and stretches, and that's so important to me. They offer plenty of other activities too, including a guy's coffee group, and a prayer/rosary/religious group, which is nice.

We chose Edencrest at Siena Hills because of the friendly staff members. They are always helpful and more than willing to answer any questions or concerns that you may have. I do think they could use better quality foods on the meals that they serve. Overall I would recommend to others who are looking.

We chose Stoney River because of the convenient location. The facility itself it spacious, the hallways are very wide and they have plenty of room for residents to spread out if they want to. It is new a fresh and they have bright colors. They have a wonderful patio in the back that they can access but they cannot wander off the property. They do zoom calls and send newsletters to keep families updated on what is going on. When covid came through the building a couple times we immediately were updated on the protocols and what was changing. I would recommend to others looking.

The community is expensive, but they all are. Some of the staff can be hard to work with, because they are overworked. The room was full of Asian beatles in our loved one's room during move in. I've been able to see my loved one twice since move in and this is because of the pandemic.

The rooms are a good size, they are similar to empty apartments. Our loved one was in a one bedroom apartment which had plenty of space for him.

We chose Brookdale Appleton because my dads high school sweetheart lived here, so he wanted to move there. The room sizes were adequate for their needs. The best part about the community was that my dad felt safe while he was here. Overall, I would highly recommend this facility.

They do a good job. My mom is happy there and that makes me happy.

There are activities that are still going on outside for the residents. They have had musicians, balloon artists come in, along with other activities performing outside of the community. I would recommend this community to friends. We are able to have window visits. My loved one doesn't think the food is the best.

They are a very welcoming and friendly community. The community cares about the residents. The communication has been good. Edencrest was good at keeping us updated with COVID. The food was amazingly good, wide selections, and good quality. Prior to COVID I was able to eat a few meals with my loved one.

My mother has been here for over 2 years. She's happy and comfortable here. i can tell she feels secure because her anxiety level has remained low since being a resident. All staff has been polite and helpful with any issues or questions I've had. The staff has also been good about communicating with me regularly since the covid-19 quarantine.

Overall, happy with the care given my mother. Staff is caring and patient. Questions are answered promptly. Facility seems orderly and clean.

Edencrest community felt more like a resort appearance, it did not have that industrial hospital feel to it. They have a nice assortment of rooms to choose from. Our loved one had a kitchen area, a living room area, and a bedroom. They have tried to keep some activities going during this time, they are really trying their best to keep the residents active and engaged. Over the summer they did an inside little state fair with small contests. They also brought in musicians to play outside so the residents could open up their windows and listen to them play.

The staff was very helpful with our move. I had to move mom and dad due to mom's dementia decline. They answered all my questions and did a wonderful job assisting. Took a bit longer than expected to get the rooms dressed with photos and boxes unpacked...but I do understand the staff has other responsibilities.

So far, so good, my mother seems happy and well-cared for. I miss seeing her face to face and spending time with her.
